Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memberi pengaruh terhadap semua bidang, salah satunya di bidang pendidikan. Pelayanan di bidang pendidikan pada umumnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknologi komputer. Komputer merupakan bagian dari perkembangan TIK yang memberi dampak positif terhadap proses administrasi di sekolah. Oleh karenan itu, manusia khsusnya yang berprofesi sebagai pendidik dituntut untuk menguasai dan meningkatkan pengetahuan di bidang TIK. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas di bidang pendidikan, banyak langkah yang telah dilakukan pemerintah salah satunya adalah meningkatkan kualitas SDM khususnya guru-guru melalui berbagai pelatihan-pelatihan. Oleh karena itu, Politeknik Aceh Selatan (POLTAS) melaui Program Studi Teknik Komputer akan melakukan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi komputer dan teknologi informasi untuk membantu mengatasi berbagai masalah yang dihadapi guru-guru. Kegiatan tersebut sebagai bentuk pengabdian dan peran Politeknik Aceh Selatan kepada masyarakat Aceh Selatan khususnya di di SMA Negeri 1 Samadua. Diharapkan setelah mengikuti pelatihan tersebut guru-guru SMA Negeri 1 Samadua bisa meningkatkan kemampuan diri dalam bidang teknologi informasi guna memenuhi kebutuhan secara lebih cepat, tepat sehingga mampu mengerjakan tugas dengan berkapasitas yang jauh lebih besar, efektif, dan efisien.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah salah satu Dharma dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, disamping dharma pendidikan dan dharma penelitian, dimana Perguruan Tinggi diharapkan ada usaha secara sadar untuk mencegah terjadinya isolasi Perguruan Tinggi dari masyarakat dan lingkungannya, sehingga akan selalu ada keterkaitan atau bahkan kemanunggalan Perguruan Tinggi dan masyarakat. Saat ini dunia sedang tergoncang oleh kasus coronavirus disease atau dikenal dengan istilahcovid-19 sejak akhir tahun lalu. Virus menular yang berasal dari Wuhan, Tiongkok itu telah menyebar hamper keseluruh dunia termasuk negara Indonesia. Ketika Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengeluarkan Surat Edaran No 3 Tahun 2020 tentang pencegahan Covid-19 pada Satuan Pendidikan pada tanggal 9 Maret 2020; surat Edaran Kesehatan No HK.02.01/MENKES/199/2020 pada 12 Maret 2020; dan Surat Edaran Sekjen Kemendikbud No 36603/A.A5/OT/2020 pada 15 Maret 2020, tentang pencegahan virus covid- 19 ini. Pemerintah juga menghimbau agar belajar dan bekerja dari rumah. Lembaga pendidikan Politeknik Aceh Selatan juga menyambut himbauan pemerintah tersebut dengan mengadakankegiatan akademik dari jarak jauh, seperti perkuliahan yang dilakukan secara online pada masa pandemi ini.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of service quality, competence, and innovation on the marketing performance of Course and Training Institutions (Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan, LKP) in Semarang Regency, Central Java. The background of this research is based on the importance of the role of LKPs in improving human resource quality through professional, competent, and innovative non-formal education, which allows them to compete in the global era. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive and causal design. Data was obtained through a survey using questionnaires and structured interviews with 150 respondents, who were managers of LKPs (Directors, Secretaries, Treasurers, Public Relations, and Marketing Administration). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression tests with the coefficient of determination (R²) and partial (t-test) and simultaneous (F-test) significance tests. The results of the study show that service quality, competence, and innovation have a positive and significant effect on the marketing performance of LKPs, both simultaneously and partially. Innovation is the most dominant factor, followed by competence and service quality. These findings emphasize that LKPs capable of providing quality services, having competent management, and continuously innovating will be more successful in building their image, increasing competitiveness, and expanding marketing networks. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of policies that expand access to competence certification, encourage the digitalization of learning and marketing, and strengthen partnerships between LKPs and the business and industrial world (DUDI). Thus, the results of this research can contribute to improving the quality of non-formal education and provide practical guidance in managing LKPs in Indonesia. The originality of this research lies in its empirical study focus on LKPs in the local context of Semarang Regency, which has not been extensively researched. In addition to providing quantitative evidence on the determinants of marketing performance in non-formal educational institutions, this study also enriches the literature by emphasizing the role of innovation as the most influential variable in strengthening the competitiveness of non-formal institutions in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

A house is a place to live that is a primary need for everyone. The house and its belongings must be protected from unwanted things such as criminal acts of theft. Seeing the frequent crimes committed by thieves targeting people's homes, whether they are left by their owners or not, makes people restless when they want to leave their homes unoccupied. Therefore, there is a need for a strong home system to prevent theft and implement how the home security system works and open the door using a matrix keypad. By using Arduino as a controller, the circuit will process input from the PIR sensor which functions as a motion detector sensor and keypad and as a tool to input pins or passwords that have been stored in the Arduino EEPROM, and then the Arduino will process the output in the form of a relay as a switch to activate the electromagnetic solenoid, with the working principle if the sensor detects a person who is about 3 to 5 meters from the sensor, the alarm will sound, and to open the door, you must input the password according to the password stored in the Arduino EEPROM, if the password is input correctly, the door will open, if the password is wrong, the door will not open.

Abstract

This research examines the relationship between learning culture, transformative learning, learning agility, work engagement, and adaptive performance among private university lecturers in Semarang. Using a quantitative approach with a sample of 184 respondents, this study applies Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for data analysis. The research results show a significant relationship between the variables studied. Learning culture has a positive effect on transformative learning and work engagement. Transformative learning and learning agility contribute significantly to adaptive performance. These findings emphasize the importance of transformative learning in increasing learning agility and adaptive performance of lecturers. This study provides valuable insight for developing strategies for improving lecturers' adaptive performance in facing the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era. Future research is recommended to expand the scope and use a longitudinal approach for a more comprehensive understanding
