Abstract

Internet of things (IoT) is a concept with the aim of expanding the connectivity of internet network connected to global networks. Internet of Things (IoT) is used to control electronic device that utilizes internet technology to perform control processes such as lamp. This study aims to build control device that utilizes internet technology to carry out the light control process by utilizing social media telegram applications. With NodeMCU V3 as a Digital controller that supports TCP / IP technology. The testing method is carried out using 4 lights and 4 channel relays. The results obtained by the testing process by using commands on the telegram have been successful, the delay time is very dependent on internet connectivity or Wifi.

Abstract

Heart rate or pulse is an important parameter used to determine a person's mental state because when the heartbeat is abnormal, it is necessary to make further efforts to prevent undesirable things from happening. In this study, researchers plan to design the Heart Rate Monitoring and Stimulation with the Internet of Thing-Based (IoT) Qur'an Recitation. The steps taken to design a monitoring system and stimulate the human heartbeat are to design hardware and software. The sensor used is a pulse heart rate sensor as a heart rate detector processed by Arduino-based NodeMCU V3, the test results and measurements will be sampled using smartphone media. Data collection process; polytechnic students as objects taken by their heart rate data, the data collection process was carried out twice, the morning before the lecture began and the afternoon after the lecture process was complete, the testing process was done by taking data using a smartphone and turning on the Quran recitation for 2 minutes. Research is expected to be an stimulus indicator of heart rate, so that the heart rate is more relaxed and calm

Abstract

This study discusses the infusion detection device in a hospital room. This tool is designed to help hospital nurses to cope more quickly to avoid problems due to the infusion. Load cell sensors are used as heavy detectors that send notifications to the nurses through the telegram application that has been installed. The nurse will get a notification message sent to the telegram if the sensor has read the weight. The tool is made using a load cell sensor and NodeMCU Wi-FiESP866 which functions to send notification of the results of sensor data input to the Internet of Things (IOT) platform namely Telegram. Nurses need to be connected to the internet network to get notifications on the telegram. Test results show that the time needed to send and receive notifications on Telegram takes about 2-5 seconds. The message will be sent 3 times, first the infusion WARNING is almost exhausted (alert), second the infusion WARNING is almost exhausted (standby) and the infusion WARNING is almost exhausted (please replace). If the infusion is not replaced by the nurse, it will be warned by Buzzer. However, time can be influenced by the available internet network connectivity. However, time can be affected by the available internet network.

Abstract

Automatic cocoa fermentation design is expected to facilitate the work of cocoa farmers during the process of reversing and stirring cocoa fermentation based on the right temperature. The fermentation process is of course done in a box or sack so that chocolate quickly produces heat and is cemented. However, in certain conditions, especially when in sacks there are often obstacles in the stirring process. Often the fermented chocolate experiences weathering or moldiness due to the uneven reversal that causes chocolate to clot, causing weathering or moldiness and produce an unpleasant odor and unattractive color on the cocoa beans. To overcome this problem a tool that automatically can turn or stir the cocoa beans evenly. This device is controlled by Arduino Uno R3 with a sensor that is an LM35 temperature sensor and has an LCD output and DC motor. This tool uses Relay to adjust the delay when driving a DC motor. The working principle of this tool, when the LM35 temperature sensor receives heat conditions on the cocoa beans, the LCD will display the condition of the temperature while the relay will instruct the DC motor to move the Cocoa Fermentation rail rotating left or right. The purpose of making this tool is to create a tool that can help alleviate the work of cocoa farmers in cocoa bean stirring activities at the time of cocoa bean fermentation controlled by Arduino. From the results of the tests carried out, the tool is able to read both hot and cold temperature conditions, and the LM35 sensor can work well in detecting temperature changes from 350C to 400C or vice versa.

Abstract

Draining traditional boat water efficiently is sometimes considered to be of little importance to most fishermen. Because it is considered a normal thing without realizing it can be detrimental, both in terms of time and work. One of the things that often makes the use of draining water less efficient is that the draining of boat water is still done manually with human intervention. So that fishermen are preoccupied with removing puddles of boats and hindering their work. Based on the above problems, this study aims to make a traditional boat water drain control system automatically. This tool functions to control the volume of water in the boat as well as turn on and turn off the water pump engine automatically. This tool is able to remove puddles that enter the fishing boat automatically. The working principle of this tool, if the water hits the sensor ≥ 5 cm, the pump and buzzer will start and if the water doesn't hit the sensor, the pump and buzzer will automatically shut down.

Abstract

Nutmeg is a source of income for some people in South Aceh, and some types of nutmeg, like mace nutmeg, are of better quality. Mace nutmeg is also an agricultural community with great economic value and benefits for humans, as it can be processed into spices and herbs. A range of products includes nutmeg oil and medicines. The harvesting and drying of mace nutmeg, which is still considered a problem by nutmeg growers, cannot be isolated from the processing of the basic ingredients. The natural process of drying mace nutmeg involves the use of sunshine, which necessitates a considerable drying time. Therefore nutmeg farmers frequently complain of erratic weather, especially during the wet season. The constant rain can cause the mace to rot, causing the nutmeg farming community's revenue to become unstable. Methods and steps of research work starting from the study of literature, determination of design specifications, hardware design, software design, toolmaking, tool testing.Good results were reached with the dryness of the mace nutmeg, which can be adjusted, and without putting into account the weather in the drying process, which is usually done with the heat of the sun, per the results of the testing of the designed tools.The average dryness of mace nutmeg is at a temperature of 45 percent with a time of 4 hours and a capacity of 100 grams; according to the test results of the automatic mace drying machine, it produces 50 grams of dry mace.

Abstract

The right Placement Job Training (PKL) selection for the students is a very important thing, because it can maximize the abilities and talents of each student so that can produce graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work. The most common problem of PKL selection is the lack of competence in terms of the needs of the company, as well as the needs of students will be on PKL place selection. To overcome these problems required a computer system in the form of group decision support systems (GDSS) who can help South Aceh Polytechnic for the selection of the right vendors for students.       In this study, Group decision support system developed by using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and Borda for group decision-making. AHP method is used to determine the weights of criteria and sub-criteria of each company where PKL alternative to alternative perangkingan company for each student from each of the decision makers. Borda method used for incorporation gradement results obtained by each decision maker so getting rank final and decisive recommendations PKL student places.            Based on the outcome of a group decision support system in the form of a rank of criteria values of students to alternative company where PKL placement selection. And alternative companies that get the highest yield serve as recommendations PKL student placement decisions for computer engineering department Polytechnics South Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbandingan dari metode Simple Queue dan Queue tree yang dimplementasikan pada penerapan dijaringan komputer politeknik aceh selatan. Dimana Simple Queue adalah pelimitan sederhana berdasarkan data rate, dan juga merupakan cara termudah untuk melakukan manajemen bandwith yang diterapkan pada jaringan skala kecil sampai menengah untuk mengatur pemakaian bandwith upload dan download tiap user. Sedangkan Queue tree digunakan untuk mengatur pelimitan berdasarkan protokol, port, IP Address, dan jugauntuk mengatur setingan fitur mangle. Fungsi nya adalah untuk melimit bandwith pada mikrotik yang mempunyai koneksi internet. Sehingga tujuan akhir dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu politeknik aceh selatan dalam memberikan solusi dan memaksimalkan penggunaan resource bandwith yang dimiliki dalam mengelola jaringan internet, agar masing-masing user (mahasiswa/dosen/ karyawan) dapat menggunakan jaringan internet dengan lancar.

Abstract

Pada era milenial sekarang ini pergaulan remaja seringkali tidak terkontrol tentang bahaya seks bebas dan minimnya pengetahuan berdampak pada penularan penyakit seksual yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Umumnya para penderita penyakit infeksi menular seksual (IMS) merasa malu untuk berkonsultasi ke dokter. Maka dianggap perlu untuk mengembangkan suatu sistem aplikasi yang bisa mendiagnosis penyakit IMS yang bisa membantu setiap penderita penyakit IMS untuk mengetahui penyakit yang dideritanya tanpa harus merasa malu ke dokter dan juga bisa mendapatkan saran dan solusi untuk mengobatinya. Sehingga aplikasi kecerdasan buatan yang akan dikembangkan ini bisa sangat membantu masyarakat untuk mengurangi dampak bahaya dari penyakit infeksi menular seks dengan deteksi dini penyakit sebelum menyebar dan menyebabkan kematian.
