The population in this study were 35 respondents of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Anugrah Surabaya Pratama Clinic, the research sample was 32 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The Bourbannais pain scale was used as a research tool. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, a p-value of 0.001 was obtained, which means that there is an effect of prenatal yoga on back pain in pregnant women in the third trimester. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test, a p-value of 0.007 was obtained, which means that there is a difference in the level of back pain scale in pregnant women in the third trimester at the Anugrah Surabaya Pratama Clinic. Further research is expected to be used as a reference for comparison by expanding the population and variables and replacing the comparison group with other better media.

The independent variable is low impact aerobic exercise, and the dependent variable is premenopausal complaints. Data collection used the MRS questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with p<0.05. The results of the study showed that there was a decrease in premenopausal complaints after low impact aerobic exercise. From the results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, it was concluded that there was an effect of low impact aerobics exercise on premenopausal complaints, which initially mostly had moderate complaints which changed to mild complaints. After the test was carried out, the results showed that there was an effect of low impact serobic exercise on premenopausal complaints with a p value of 0.000 < α 0.05.

Abstract

The first phase of a woman's natural experience before menopause is called premenopause.Decreased estrogen levels affect the physical and psychological changes of menopausal women, and trigger anxiety. This study uses the pre-experiment method through the one group pretest-posttest designs approach. The sample was taken by purposive sampling with a total of 33 respondents. The independent variables of this study were pocket book education, the dependent variables of knowledge and anxiety. Data collection used a knowledge questionnaire and a zung self-rating anxiety scale (ZSAS). To analyze whether there is an effect, a test with a wilcoxon signed rank test with a p value of <0.05 is used. The results of the study were found to increase knowledge and reduce the level of anxiety of premenopausal mothers after education using pocket books. After the test was carried out, the results of the influence of pocket book education on knowledge and anxiety facing menopause with a p value of 0.000 < α 0.05 were obtained. It can be concluded that there is an influence of pocket book education on premenopausal knowledge and anxiety facing menopause. So it is recommended that premenopausal mothers make the best use of insights about menopause.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional issue threatening future generations, significantly influenced by early marriage practices. In East Java, Indonesia, early marriage has become a pressing concern, with a 10.44% increase in 2022, exceeding the national average. The region reported the highest number of early marriage dispensation requests in Indonesia, totaling 15,337 cases, or 29.4% of the national total. In the Madurese community, early marriage is often viewed as a customary practice, driven by unintended pregnancies and parental pressure. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation regarding stunting and early marriage culture in promoting stunting prevention behaviors among adolescent girls. A mixed-method approach was employed, using a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test groups, focusing on female adolescents aged 14-21 at the Wonoayu community health center. The independent variables include psychoeducation on stunting and early marriage culture, while the dependent variable is stunting prevention behavior. Data were collected using questionnaires for the quantitative aspect and in-depth interviews for the qualitative component. Results indicate significant improvements in stunting prevention behavior scores post-intervention. Psychoeducation effectively enhances knowledge about stunting's causes and preventive measures, enabling adolescents to take proactive steps. Furthermore, it fosters positive attitudes toward nutrition and reproductive health, encouraging healthier habits among participants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between antenatal care history and parenting patterns in toddlers with the incidence of stunting in the Wonoayu Health Center area, Sidoarjo. Through a quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach, data were collected from 120 mothers who have toddlers, using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between antenatal care history and parenting patterns with the incidence of stunting. Statistical tests with logistic regression showed that improvements in antenatal care and parenting patterns can reduce the risk of stunting in toddlers. This study provides important insights into the importance of early intervention and education for mothers to improve child health and prevent stunting in the community. Thus, recommendations to strengthen maternal and child health programs, as well as increase public awareness of good parenting patterns, are needed to support optimal growth and development of toddlers.

Some literature shows that cinnamon has ingredients that can heal wounds. This study aims to see how the influence of cinnamon cooking water on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum women. This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental design and a nonequivalent control group design approach. The population in this study were postpartum women who gave birth in March and April 2023, respectively. Using a purposive sampling approach, 60 respondents were selected and were divided into two groups. Observation sheets and checklists were used to collect data. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, and Mann Whitney U Test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the average perineal wound healing in the control group was 1.60, while the average in the intervention group was 1.87. The Wilcoxon Sign Ranked Test results obtained a p-value (0.000), namely <0.05, which means there was a difference in wound healing before and after being given treatment for each group. Then, the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test obtained a p-value (0.021) <0.05, meaning there was a difference in wound healing between the treatment and control groups. So, the conclusion that can be made in this study is that giving cinnamon-boiled water affects the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers.
