Abstract

At Coffee Singa, recording and processing data on goods, quantities and prices of goods, as well as sales transaction data is still done using handwriting. The difficulty of recording and estimating the number of types of goods, the number of goods, and also the amount of the price, resulted in the data obtained being inaccurate. To improve the accuracy of the data, it is necessary to develop a computerized sales information system. The Web-based Sales Information System application at Coffee Singa is made using the Php programming language, Adobe XD software as the main interface maker and MySQL as the database. This program allows users to enter data, edit data, delete data, search data, filter data and print data to paper media. The data entered is in the form of data on goods, data on types of goods and sales of goods. While the output produced by this information system is in the form of data reports about goods and sales of goods with a Thermal printer to print sales transactions directly. This sales application can be a solution that can be used to make it easier for sellers to process data on sales of goods, and make reports on goods data, reports on purchases and sales of goods, selling goods becomes easier, faster and more efficient. The method used for system development uses the Waterfall method.

Abstract

Penguasaan Bahasa Inggris merupakan kompetensi krusial bagi lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) untuk dapat bersaing di pasar kerja global. Namun, permasalahan umum yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar dan minimnya kepercayaan diri siswa dalam berkomunikasi lisan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan praktis dan kepercayaan diri berbahasa Inggris siswa Kelas 11 SMK Negeri 1 Karangdadap melalui program SKENDAP FACE (Fun and Activity Club of English). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif yang mengkombinasikan presentasi, praktikum berbasis gamifikasi (permainan edukatif), dan sharing session (diskusi kelompok terbimbing). Keberhasilan program diukur secara kuantitatif melalui perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test terhadap 40 siswa. Analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan yang sangat signifikan pada seluruh indikator. Pemahaman kosakata praktis siswa meningkat dari tingkat penguasaan awal sebesar 35% menjadi 85% pasca-intervensi. Lebih penting lagi, tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa untuk memulai percakapan dalam Bahasa Inggris melonjak drastis dari 27.5% menjadi 75%. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan holistik yang menyasar aspek kognitif dan afektif secara simultan sangat efektif. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan adanya integrasi metode pembelajaran interaktif dan berpusat pada siswa, seperti gamifikasi, ke dalam kurikulum Bahasa Inggris SMK untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih efektif dan memotivasi.

Abstract

Social media is a medium for socializing with each other and is done online which allows humans to interact with each other without being limited by space and time. Nowadays almost everyone uses social media for various purposes. Some use it for sales promotions, some to improve their image, or some just as a means of communication between relatives and friends. Regardless of their needs, there must still be rules that are upheld when someone uses social media. As with other communication media, social media cannot be separated from ethics when used. Both from a psychological, sociological, and information technology perspective. In the aspect of information technology, there are things that should be considered in social media. One of them is the presence of a virus. Viruses spread by shared links, in downloaded programs, or by clicking buttons. Another thing to note is the existence of phishing or the likeness of the sender to one particular entity. For example a bank or other official institution. Then ask us to provide sensitive data. This is primarily to make a profit financially. Besides that, there are also hoaxes or fake news. Things like this need to be socialized to the public so they do not become virus spreaders, or hoax spreaders. And then, social media is a fun place to interact.
