Abstract

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peran orang tua dalam mendukung prestasi olahraga di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang? Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam mendukung prestasi olahraga di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deksriptif kualitatif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua siswa di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yaitu data yang langsung diperoleh dari orang tua siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, sedangkan teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan penarikan kesimpulan (conclusion drawing). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam mendukung prestasi olahraga di SMP Negeri 21 Palembang adalah memberikan perhatian kepada anak, memberikan saran dan arahan yang baik kepada anak, serta memberikan support dengan menyediakan makanan yang sehat, bergizi, serta menyediakan perlengkapan yang dibutuhkan untuk kegiatan olahraga. Berdasarkan hasil jawaban angket orang tua, didapatkan bahwa jumlah jawaban angket sebesar 2098 dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 83,92% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

The incidence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) continues to increase globally and has become a serious health threat, including in Indonesia. Modern lifestyles, unbalanced diets, and genetic factors are the main causes. This study aimed to determine the best formulation of a Snack Bar made from freeze-dried black glutinous rice tape flour, mocaf flour, and almond flour, and to evaluate its organoleptic properties (color, aroma, taste, texture), anthocyanin content, antioxidant activity, and fiber content as an alternative solution for individuals with Type 2 DM. The study was conducted experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) at Poltekkes Kemenkes Padang. Three formulations were tested organoleptically by panelists and analyzed in the laboratory for nutritional content. The results showed that the best formulation was F3 (20g black glutinous rice tape, 60g mocaf, 20g almond) with 84% panelist acceptance. Proximate analysis showed ash content of 1.18%, moisture 35.9%, protein 10.5%, fat 12.05%, carbohydrates 40.26%, fiber 2.15%, and anthocyanin 0.3 mg. It is concluded that the Snack Bar made from black glutinous rice tape, mocaf, and almond has potential as a functional food for people with DM. Further research is recommended to assess storage stability and conduct clinical trials for its effectiveness in controlling blood sugar levels.

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of marinating chicken meat with varying concentrations of lime juice (Citrus aurantifolia) on its physical properties, specifically pH, tenderness, water-holding capacity (WHC), and cooking loss. The experimental treatments comprised five lime juice concentrations: P0 (control, 0 mL), P1 (10 mL), P2 (20 mL), P3 (30 mL), and P4 (40 mL). The results revealed significant differences in pH values among treatments: P0 (5.67), P1 (5.25), P2 (5.01), P3 (4.91), and P4 (4.78). Tenderness, expressed as penetration force (mm/g), varied across treatments with the following means: P0 (91.13 mm/g), P1 (80.63 mm/g), P2 (81.00 mm/g), P3 (88.50 mm/g), and P4 (69.00 mm/g). WHC values were recorded as follows: P0 (44.41%), P1 (43.40%), P2 (42.52%), P3 (45.00%), and P4 (43.80%). Cooking loss increased with higher lime juice concentrations: P0 (27.00%), P1 (32.50%), P2 (33.00%), P3 (32.50%), and P4 (34.50%). The findings suggest that lime juice concentration significantly affects both pH and tenderness, with the most favorable results observed at the 20 mL concentration, which yielded a pH of 5.01 and tenderness of 81.00 mm/g. In contrast, no significant effects were observed on WHC and cooking loss across treatments. In conclusion, marination with 20 mL of lime juice enhances the physical quality of chicken meat by improving pH and tenderness, without substantially affecting water retention or cooking loss.

Abstract

Ahok's controversial statements on the Thousand Islands seem not only led to massive and repeated demonstrations, but also linguistic debates in the courtroom. This study aims to examine the arguments of linguists who give statements in the courtroom in response to Ahok's statement. As a qualitative study using discourse analysis as a method of analysis, this study uses a critical argumentation approach developed by Walton (2002 and 2006) to examine how the argument was constructed and evaluate the quality of the argument. The analysis in this study indicates that the opinion of linguists presented by public prosecutors is often inconsistent and not based on adequate linguistic evidence, not only inconsistent with other expert statements, but also with his own statement as a scientist. Conversely, the linguist presented by Ahok's counsel is more consistent and more able to present linguistic evidence more adequately.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of learning nahwu, measure the ability of students in nahwu, and assess the effectiveness of using the Al Ikhtishor method in nahwu learning at Durrotu Ahlissunnah Waljama'ah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses quantitative methods with experimental design, involving control classes and experimental classes. Data collection techniques include tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and T tests (Paired Sample T Test and Independent Sample T-Test ). The results showed that the level of use of the Al Ikhtishor method was adequate, the ability of students in learning nahwu science was very good, and the use of the Al Ikhtishor method proved effective in increasing understanding and mastery of nahwu among students. The Al Ikhtishor method significantly increases the understanding and mastery of nahwu among students. The conclusion of this study is that the Al Ikhtishor method is effective in improving the quality of nahwu learning, and this method is recommended for use in teaching nahwu science in Islamic boarding schools.
