Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the impact risk and trust variable toward behavior with attitude of android mobile application user as mediating variable. Total sample that used in this research 100 respondent. Base on test, instrument that used in this research are valid and reliable. This research used Component Based SEM (Partial Least Square) as method analysis. The output from this research are: (1) Trust and attitude are mediating variable in relations between risk toward attitude and behavior; (2) Risk as attitude form factor and people attitude to use android mobile applications; (3) Risk had negative relations with trust and attitude, as high risk perceived will reduce trust toward applications and attitude; (4) Trust had positive relations toward attitude and attitude had positive relations toward behavior in used android mobile applications.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose this study is to examine factors in trust and perceived value have influence toward electronic word of mouth (e-wom). Some of the factors found in trust, namely ability, benevolence and integrity and several factors in perceived value, namely emotional value, social value, price and performance value were also tested for their effects on e-wom. This study uses 100 respondents who live in the Palembang city and have made purchases online. The data analysis method used in this study is PLS (Partial Least Square). The test results using partial least square of this study prove that the benevolence factor has an influence on e-wom. In addition, the results of this study also prove that social values, prices and performance values have an influence on e-wom. Keywords: kindness; social value; price; performance value; e-wom ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang ada di dalam kepercayaan dan nilai yang dirasakan dalam pengaruh terhadap electronic word of mouth (e-wom). Beberapa faktor yang terdapat dalam kepercayaan yaitu kemampuan kebaikan hati dan integritas serta beberapa faktor dalam nilai yang dirasakan yaitu nilai emosional, nilai sosial, harga dan nilai kinerja juga diuji pengaruhnya terhadap e-wom. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 responden yang berdomisili di kota Palembang dan telah melakukan pembelian secara online. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan partial least square dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa faktor kebaikan hati memiliki pengaruh terhadap e-wom. Selain itu hasil dari penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa nilai sosial, harga dan nilai kinerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap e-wom. Kata kunci: kebaikan hati; nilai sosial; harga; nilai kinerja; e-wom

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of lifestyle, strategy choice orientation on business decision making. This study uses primary data through a survey of culinary entrepreneurs in Palembang. The questionnaire data used in this study were 92 (61.3%). Analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) using Warp PLS software version 5.0 to examine the research. The results of the study show that the lifestyle and strategy choice orientation affects business decision-making. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh gaya hidup, orientasi pilihan strategi pada pengambilan keputusan usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer melalui survei kepada pengusaha kuliner di kota Palembang. Data kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 92 (61,3%). Analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) menggunakan perangkat lunak Warp PLS versi 5.0 dipakai untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup orientasi pilihan strategi berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan usaha.

Abstract

Firms that are managed by family businesses have developed and have an impact on the growth of a country's economy. The family business has been a concern in much of the research literature. The development of family businesses also has an interesting phenomenon related to business governance systems, especially in management control systems. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of the owner's role in the management of the family business, and the strategy selection on to use of strategic performance measurement on the family business. The research was conducted using quantitative methods primary data through a survey of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in the city of Palembang. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed to entrepreneurs. The number of questionnaires used in this study was 107 (71%). ANOVA analysis was used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the role of the owner in controlling the family business and the strategy selection affected the strategic performance measurement.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has been around for more than a year, has changed habits in the world. The Covid-19 pandemic has also disrupted every aspect of global life such as business and trade and has had an impact on new behaviors and habits of business and economic activities. Another real impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is the risk of business survival. Therefore, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic crisis must be a concern for entrepreneurs because it can disrupt business performance and business continuity. For this reason, this research was conducted to see whether the implementation of business strategies and the use of technology could have an impact on efforts to maintain the continuity of a business venture. The research data was collected by survey method to 200 respondents and 160 research data were collected (response rate 80%). Hypothesis testing is based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Analysis of Partial Least Squares (PLS) using Warp PLS software version 5.0. The research findings conclude that the implementation of the strategy and the level of technology use has a positive impact on business continuity during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

At present, the hotel business is dealing with increasingly competitive competition. Creative marketing methods are developed to anticipate the competition. The implementation of creative marketing programs is a form of new strategies in the hotel industry. This study aims to prove the impact of the novelty and meaningfulness of creative marketing programs on hotel performance. The study is conducted with quantitative methods using primary data through a survey of owners/hotel general managers in Palembang city. A total of 75 questionnaires are distributed to the owners/hotel general managers. The number of questionnaires used in this study is 65 (87%). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis using Warp PLS version 5.0 software is used to test of hypothesis. The results of the study indicate that the novelty and meaningfulness creative marketing program has a positive effect on the hotel's performance in Palembang city.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have consistently demonstrated their resilience and ability to navigate economic downturns, as evidenced by their pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 1998 economic crisis. However, the SMERU Research Institute's 2023 report highlights several obstacles hindering MSMEs' capacity development. These include a reluctance to step out of their comfort zones and challenges in accessing appropriate capital sources. Moreover, limited business management knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, such as tax compliance and product certification, pose significant barriers to MSME growth and competitiveness. To address these challenges, the Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprise (SCORE) program, in collaboration with SCORE FLS and FIFGROUP, has implemented comprehensive training and mentoring initiatives. These programs aim to enhance the capacity building of MSMEs by focusing on both technical skills and strategic development. For MSMEs receiving revolving funds, financial literacy training is integrated to complement the overall capacity-building efforts. By equipping MSMEs with the necessary skills and resources, these initiatives seek to empower them to compete effectively in the global market and adapt to evolving economic conditions. This strategic approach is expected to contribute significantly to the overall resilience and growth of the MSME sector, fostering a more inclusive and dynamic economy. Keywords: Capacity building, competitive, life skills, sustainability. Abstrak Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) telah membuktikan diri sebagai pilar utama perekonomian Indonesia. Ketahanan UMKM terlihat jelas saat menghadapi krisis moneter 1998 dan pandemi COVID-19. Namun, di balik ketangguhannya, UMKM juga menghadapi sejumlah tantangan yang menghambat pertumbuhan dan pengembangannya. Salah satu kendala utama adalah minimnya motivasi pelaku UMKM untuk berinovasi dan meningkatkan kapasitas usahanya. Kecenderungan untuk mempertahankan kondisi yang sudah ada dan terbatasnya akses terhadap sumber pendanaan menjadi hambatan signifikan. Selain itu, kurangnya pengetahuan manajemen bisnis, ketidakpahaman terhadap regulasi, serta kesulitan memenuhi standar kualitas produk untuk memasuki pasar ekspor juga menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, program Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprise (SCORE) hadir sebagai solusi yang komprehensif. Dilaksanakan oleh SCORE FLS dan FIFGROUP, program ini menawarkan pelatihan dan pendampingan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM dalam berbagai aspek. Fokus utama program SCORE adalah pada pengembangan strategi bisnis yang efektif, penguatan tata kelola perusahaan, serta peningkatan keterampilan teknis para pelaku UMKM. Dengan pendekatan yang holistik, SCORE berupaya memberikan bekal yang lengkap bagi UMKM, mulai dari pengetahuan bisnis hingga keterampilan manajerial. Pelatihan yang diberikan tidak hanya mencakup aspek teknis, tetapi juga pengembangan soft skills seperti kepemimpinan, komunikasi, dan kemampuan beradaptasi yang sangat penting dalam dunia bisnis yang dinamis. Program SCORE diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi pertumbuhan dan pengembangan UMKM di Indonesia. Dengan meningkatkan kapasitas UMKM, diharapkan sektor ini dapat berkontribusi lebih besar terhadap perekonomian nasional, menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, dan mengurangi ketimpangan. Abstract

Perkawinan merupakan persekutuan seumur hidup antara pria dan wanita. Persekutuan seumur hidup ini sifatnya terarah pada kesejahteraan suami istri, kelahiran dan pendidikan anak sehingga sangat penting bagi suatu perkawinan untuk mengelola keuangan keluarga. Memang masalah keuangan bukanlah penentu segala-galanya, tetapi kita sadari bahwa keuangan keluarga memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keutuhan keluarga. Target dari kegiatan iniadalah peserta mampu mengidentifikasi kebiasaan, tingkah laku, dan perencanaan dalam mengelola uang juga peserta mampu merefleksikan pengelolaan keuangan uang dengan prespektif dan nilai-nilai Kristiani. Materi disampaikan dalam bentuk ceramah, video, diskusi, simulasi dan latihan. Target peserta kegiatan pengabdian adalah pasangan muda yang dalam waktu dekat akan membangun keluarga. Pencapaian dari kegiatan ini (berdasarkan hasil survei yangdilakukan), peserta memiliki kecenderungan yang positif dalam mengelola keuangan mereka dan para peserta juga bersedia untuk berkomunikasi dengan pasangannya dalam hal melakukan perencaan keuangan rumah tangga yang akan mereka bina. Peserta juga merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan ini.
