Abstract

Abstract. Nomophobia (the fear of being disconnected from a smartphone) severely impacts social and mental problems in society, so it is essential to measure the nomophobia levels to anticipate more severe problems in society. Even so, the validated nomophobia instrument still needs to be looked at to see how it can be used in the current situation. This study, therefore, aims to assess and develop a valid and reliable nomophobia instrument. This research method used a survey approach conducted on 75 students in West Java. Data analysis to test validity and reliability employed Rasch modeling with Winstep, consisting of 1) item and person reliability validity testing, 2) Wright Map person and item instruments, 3) rating scale analysis, and 4) exploratory analysis factors. Then, to find out the level of nomophobia among college students, descriptive statistical analysis was applied. The analysis results revealed that out of 15 instruments, 11 had the feasibility to be used in measuring the nomophobia construct with four dimensions: 1) the dimension of loss of connectedness, 2) the dimension of giving up convenience, 3) the dimension of inability to communicate, and 4) the dimension of inability to access information. Meanwhile, for instrument answers, the Nomophobia scale score is recommended to be ranked from 1 to 4.Keywords: nomophobia; instrument validity; rasch model.

Abstract

Advances in internet technology have made it easier for people to communicate and access information, making digital literacy an important skill in the digital era. Digital literacy involves technical skills to access media, critical understanding to analyze content, and communicative skills to participate and create through social media. This research aims to analyze the frequency distribution of digital literacy among junior high school students in Pamijahan District. Data shows that the majority of respondents have a high level of digital literacy (40.1%), while the rest range from moderate to very low. Even though students are generally able to use social media actively, their understanding of risks such as the spread of fake news and cybercrime still needs to be improved. Research has shown that having good digital literacy helps students to sort information better, but improvements in digital ethics and safety are still needed to minimize the negative impacts of digital media use among teenagers.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement an ESP32-based smart scarecrow as an innovative solution in overcoming the problem of sparrow and rat pests in Tegal Waru Village, Ciampea District. This research uses an experimental method to design, build, and test a prototype bird pest repellent tool based on ESP32, PIR and ultrasonic sensors to detect the presence of pests, then repel them with environmentally friendly ultrasonic speakers. The system also utilizes solar power as an energy source, thus supporting environmental sustainability and reducing the use of chemical pesticides. The results showed that the smart scarecrow was effective in reducing crop damage by 85% and increasing yields. In addition, this technology also helps improve farmers' welfare by lowering operational costs and providing convenience in pest control through mobile applications. Thus, the ESP32-based smart scarecrow offers a practical and sustainable solution for modern agriculture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pola dan cara komunikasi antarbudaya yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa etnis pendatang dari beberapa suku dengan mahasiswa local bersuku sunda dalam berkomunikasi di kampus Institut Agama Islam Sahid Bogor. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Institut Agama Islam Sahid Bogor. Adapun informan berjumlah 4 orang berdasarkan dengan kriteria-kriteria informan yang sudah ditentukan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan lapangan ( file research). Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi dilapangan secara langsung dengan informan maupun mahasiswa terkait dengan topik. Wawancara dengan para informan juga menjadi sumber informasi dalam penelitian yang terpercaya, dengan tipe wawancara semi terstruktur. Sementara itu, data sekunder informasi tambahan didapatkan dari pengumpulan data melalui dokumen berupa buku-buku, e-book , jurnal, informasi dari internet, dan foto yang berhubungan dengan topik penelitian. Informasi yang didapatkan dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Model Analisis Interaktif Miles dan Huberman, lalu disajikan dengan pegolahan kata kata. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada awalnya komunikasi antar budaya, khususnya bahasa dan gaya bicara, berubah menjadi ujian bagi para siswa pemukim etnis dan siswa lingkungan dalam menyampaikan sehingga contoh korespondensi antarbudaya yang terjadi antara siswa luar etnis dan siswa terdekat dalam memberikan di dekatnya sangat berbelit-belit dan mengalami kesulitan. Bagaimanapun, setelah beberapa waktu dan dengan bahasa persatuan Republik Indonesia, khususnya bahasa Indonesia, hubungan antar keduanya perlahan-lahan menjadi saling memahami, menghormati dan menghargai. Selain itu, kebutuhan sosial sebagai pribadi untuk terhubung dan menyampaikan berubah menjadi variabel pendukung yang mendesak mereka berdua untuk terus ambil bagian dalam diskusi

Abstract

Sebagian besar Thumbnail pada konten Reels Instagram BBPBAT Sukabumi masih menggunakan potongan otomatis dari video tanpa desain visual yang dirancang secara strategis. Hal ini menyebabkan rendahnya perhatian audiens dan kurangnya daya tarik visual terhadap konten edukatif yang disajikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji strategi visual dalam desain Thumbnail serta mengevaluasi persepsi audiens terhadap tampilannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, analisis tematik Braun Clarke (2006), dan teori Visual Thinking dari Ware (2008) sebagai pisau analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi visual, dan dokumentasi konten Reels. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa elemen visual seperti teks singkat, warna khas institusi, tata letak terstruktur, dan konsistensi desain dapat meningkatkan perhatian, pengenalan isi, dan keterlibatan audiens. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa strategi visual yang dirancang berdasarkan prinsip Visual Thinking berperan penting dalam memperkuat efektivitas komunikasi digital lembaga publik. Rekomendasi meliputi penyusunan pedoman visual terpadu serta peningkatan kapasitas teknis pengelola konten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji kelayakan instrumen untuk menganalisis hubungan antara konten feed Instagram @jianti10villa dan minat berkunjung calon konsumen. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui survei terhadap 30 responden uji coba. Karakteristik demografis berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, domisili, pekerjaan, dan pendapatan. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 25. Instrumen mencakup dua variabel, yakni konten feed Instagram (X) dan minat berkunjung (Y). Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan seluruh item pada variabel X valid, sementara satu item pada variabel Y tidak valid dan dikeluarkan. Uji reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,977, menunjukkan konsistensi tinggi. Kuesioner dinyatakan layak untuk pengumpulan data utama dan menjadi dasar pengujian hipotesis lebih lanjut dengan korelasi Rank Spearman. Penelitian lanjutan dapat melibatkan jumlah responden yang lebih besar agar hasil yang diperoleh dapat lebih representatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan mendukung pemahaman strategi pemasaran digital di sektor akomodasi melalui media sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan Karya cipta dalam mempromosikan wayang Sukuraga melalui media digital dan memberi rekomendasi strategi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini dijabarkan dalam analisis SWOT dan bauran pemasaran 7P, pengabungan tersebut dapat merumuskan strategi dengan menggunakan kekuatan internal dengan memanfaatkan peluang dari eksternal Yayasan Karya Cipta yaitu memanfaatkan cerita dari wayang sukuraga dengan pembuatan konten di media digital dengan bantuan AI tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai budaya yang dimiliki. Rumusan strategi tersebut dapat menjadi langkah untuk mempromosikan wayang sukuraga dengan publikasi di website maupun media sosial instagram dan facebook yang digunakan oleh Yayasan Karya Cipta Sukuraga. Pada bauran pemasaran 7p product, price, place, promotion, people, process dan physical evidence sudah dilakukan dengan baik, namun elemen promotion dan people perlu dimaksimalkan agar wayang sukuraga dapat dikenal oleh khalayak, khususnya masyarakat kota Sukabumi.

Abstract

The majority of various groups, including generation Z, choose a simple style of clothing as their daily clothing style with a percentage of 73%. On the other hand, Islamic clothing is often juxtaposed with the idea of ​​"fast fashion" which aims to combine modesty with a fashionable style. very popular with generation Z. The externalization of The Nuruls' clothing style in this case can be seen in their efforts to balance the diversity of global fashion trends with religious obligations. The aim of this research is to determine the process of externalizing Nurul's fashion style in generation Z in Islamic clothing. This research method uses qualitative methods. The results suggest that Generation Z's externalization process involves observing, adopting, and expressing external inspiration into the individual's personal style identity. In conclusion, there are significant changes in the clothing style of generation Z in Bogor Regency.

Abstract

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the conflicts in the Middle East. So far no conflict has ended and no meeting has been found. This research aims to analyze the impact of the concentration of "Save Palestine" posts on social media on the behavior of housewives in the development of the boycott of Israeli goods in the Leuwiliang area. The basis of this research is the increasing open attention to the Palestinian issue and how social media plays a role in social mobilization and changes in consumer behavior. The survey strategy used was research with a quantitative approach, involving 50 housewives as tests, selected randomly from the survey range. Information was collected through a survey which aims to determine the frequency of visits to social media related to Palestine as well as attitudes and activities towards boycotting Israeli products. to determine the influence between social media access concentration factors and boycott behavior. The research results show that the intensity of accessing Save Palestine posts on social media has a significant influence on the behavior of housewives in the movement to boycott Israeli products. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the variable intensity of accessing posts X and the behavior of housewives in the movement to boycott Israeli products Y has an influence.

Abstract

The Internship learning model is part of one of the learning techniques that presents experiences to students personally or in groups accompanied by tutors or trainers. Internship-based learning activities have a good impact and contribute to developing new knowledge and deepening the expertise of students. This research activity aims to see the internship learning model in educating the professionalism of students or students in the field of journalism, especially in the field of photography. The method is carried out with qualitative descriptive by developing the concept of internships carried out in an input-process-output manner. The project-based learning technique is used in a participatory approach to work. The participants who were supervised in this case were 3 students with internships in online news Bola.com The results obtained were that the media activity was carried out almost 24 hours in capturing news and broadcasting it with attractive packaging, both in language and images. The news packaging is adjusted to the editorial issues that are conceptualized in one phenomenon of events. Daily activities in the media office include writing news, features, and opinion articles in the form of print media, electronic media, and online media. Journalism is closely related to journalism and mass media or media communication, press, and broadcasting (radio and television). The activities in the internship activities carried out are exploring and sharing sports information provided through a photo along with a caption which is the result of a sports photojournalist. A photo along with an informative caption is a very common thing for life. A photo or image that conveys certain information to make it more interesting and closer to the actual conditions.
