Abstract

Household waste specifically for women and children in the form of sanitary napkins and diapers is still a major problem in environmental cleanliness. This is becauseSia of some people who believe that sanitary napkin and diaper waste should not be burned. Ta'mir of the mosque as a religious figure and Family Empowerment and Welfare as social figures have a very important role in this problem around the mosque. The aims of this research are: 1) to analyze the role of ta'mir and PKK in dealing with napkins and baby diaper waste in the environment around the Baitul Ghoni Mosque, and 2) to analyze the types of activities carried out by the ta'mir and PKK in overcoming waste of sanitary napkins and baby diapers in the environment. This research uses a case study. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observation. There are 2 findings from this research. First, the role of the ta'mir of the mosque is as an Islamic educator who provides religious insight regarding environmental cleanliness and health from the perspective of Islamic law and the role of PKK as activators activities regarding the handling of sanitary napkin and baby diaper waste. Second, the form of activities carried out by the mosque ta'mir in collaboration with PKK in dealing with sanitary napkin and diaper waste, namely holding Islamic studies on purity and risalatul mahidh, holding health seminars on the use of cloth napkins and cloth diapers as an alternative to replace sanitary napkins and disposable diapers, giving fines for throwing away sanitary napkins and diapers in the river for residents around the Baitul Ghoni mosque

Abstract

Abstract Public speaking or the ability to speak in public is a skill that is not easy and requires practice. Public speaking practice can include speeches. This speech training was carried out in an orphanage because there were problems faced by students in orphanages, the majority of whom were children who no longer had parents. The problem is that mentally and the confidence to speak in public is of course still very minimal. The aim of this service is to train students' public speaking skills through speech activities. The method used in this service activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The result of this service is that through speech training students can increase their knowledge of speech skills by practicing making speech texts and practicing giving speeches. Apart from that, this speech training also produces students who have public speaking skills through speech competitions for interested students. Keywords: training, speech, public speaking skill, students   Abstrak Public speaking atau kemampuan untuk berbicara di depan publik merupakan suatu keterampilan yang tidak mudah dan perlu adanya latihan. Latihan public speaking di antaranya bisa melalui pidato. Pelatihan pidato ini dilaksanakan di panti asuhan dikarenakan ada permasalahan yang dihadapi santri di panti asuhan yang mayoritas adalah anak yang sudah tidak mempunyai orang tua. Permasalahannya yaitu secara mental dan kepercayaan diri untuk berbicara di depan umum tentu mereka masih sangat minim. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu untuk melatih keterampilan public speaking santri melalui kegiatan pidato. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Hasil dari pengabdian ini yaitu melalui pelatihan pidato dapat menambah pengetahuan ketrampilan berpidato santri dengan cara latihan membuat teks pidato dan praktik berpidato. Selain itu, pelatihan pidato ini juga menghasilkan santri yang mempunyai skill public speaking melalui lomba pidato bagi santri yang berminat. Abstract

The development of digital technology, particularly mobile phones, has brought significant changes to society, including the field of education. This study aims to examine the influence of mobile phone usage on the moral development of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Hasib Pakis. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design. The population consisted of all MI Al Hasib students, with a sample of 65 students determined using random sampling techniques. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire that had been tested for both validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test with the assistance of SPSS. The reliability coefficient of the instrument for mobile phone usage was 0.638, while for students’ moral development it was 0.764, both constructed using a Likert scale. The results of the regression analysis showed a constant value of 40.534 and a coefficient of -0.242, indicating that mobile phone usage has a negative effect. The significance test showed a Sig. value of 0.044 < 0.05, which means that mobile phone usage has a significant influence on the moral development of students. Therefore, H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.063, indicating that mobile phone usage contributes 6.3% to students’ moral development, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Based on the interpretation scale of R, this influence is categorized as very low.

Abstract

Violence against women in the digital space was common, including digital harassment, defamation on social media, and other forms. Santriwati, as part of the women's community in pesantren, had a crucial role in addressing this issue. This study aims to analyze the role of female students in overcoming digital-based violence against women using the KUPI (Kongres Ulama Perempuan Indonesia) trilogy approach at the Al-Hikam Pesantren. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection used participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. For the informant, the female guardians, the female student organization administrators, and several female students, because they were most knowledgeable about the research focus. The documents obtained included the female student organization's work program for preventing digital-based violence against women. The results, the santriwati's role in overcoming violence against women using the KUPI trilogy approach, namely santriwati as agents of pioneering good content in the digital world (ma'ruf), santriwati together with santri act as partners in the digital world (mubadalah), and santriwati as drivers of social justice in the digital world (keadilan hakiki). The novelty in the study was the concept of "Mbak Santri Cantik Jelita" as a concept for increasing the role of santriwati in preventing digital-based violence against women. The concept embodied in several pesantren's programs, theoretically has implications for the development of role theory and practically can become a role model, namely santriwati who have intelligence, ethics, and insight in innovating and using digital media for digital-based prevention of violence against women in other pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to describe in detail the implementation and outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak learning through the use of Kitab Suluk Asasi among tenth-grade students at MA Pendidikan Ilmu Al-Qur’an Singosari Malang. The research focuses on how this classical Islamic text is applied in the learning process and the extent to which it contributes to students’ educational achievements. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain comprehensive data. The findings reveal that the learning process was carried out by combining lectures, discussions, role modeling, and habituation methods. Kitab Suluk Asasi served as the primary reference that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby enhancing students’ cognitive understanding of aqidah, fostering religious attitudes, and shaping more consistent Islamic behavior in their daily lives. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of classical texts remains relevant in contemporary Islamic education, particularly in strengthening character education, moral values, and the sustainable development of students’ Islamic personality.

Abstract

Tantangan zaman yang hadir di era melineal adalah dekadensi moral. Mirisnya hal tersebut juga menjangkiti kaum pelajar. Meningkatnya angka kriminalitas yang dilakukan pelajar adalah indikasi hal ini. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan perangkat pendidikan akhlak yang melingkupi di dalamnya, harus muncul sebagai garda paling depan dalam ikut serta menanggulangi hal tersebut. Mengingat betapa pentingnya materi akhlak, maka harus diupayakan tingkat keberhasilan yang signifikan. Sayangnya, PAI masih kurang diterima oleh peserta didik, dikarenakan penyampaian guru PAI yang terkesan monoton dan membosankan dengan pendekatan teacher centered. Artikel ini mengulas implementasi metode sosiodrama berbasis project film, dalam mata pelajaran PAI dan efektivitasnya terhadap internalisasi akhlak peserta didik di SMP Negeri 16 Malang. Data diperoleh melalui penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Ada dua temuan utama artikel ini. Pertama, implementasi metode sosiodrama dapat dilakukan secara kreatif, tanpa harus terpaku pada teori-teori terkait metode sosiodrama. Misalnya, project film yang dikreasi oleh peserta didik dan ditayangkan melalui ruang virtual seperti google meet, sebagai alternatif pembelajaran daring saat pandemi. Kedua, efektivitas metode sosiodrama berbasis project film dalam internalisasi akhlak peserta didik pada ranah kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, sebagaimana yang terbukti pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 16 Malang.

Abstract

Politics is something that is urgent in Islamic studies both in Islamic countries and in Muslim countries like Indonesia. The aim of the study is to analyze the thoughts of Mohammed Ayoob who offer the concept of modern Islamic politics and be multidimensional in nature. This study is a literature study with the main source is a book by Mohammed Ayoob entitled "The Many Faces of Political Islam: Religion and Politics in the Muslim World". The results of this study are: (1) The concept of modern Islamic politics as a complex, continuous and change political ideology; (2) Islamic political multidimensionality includes: self-proclaimed Islamic countries (Saudi Arabia and Iran), sources of Islamist ideology and activism (Egypt and Pakistan), democratic Muslim majority countries (Turkey and Indonesia), national Islamist resistance movements (Hamas and Hezbollah) and trans-national Islamic organizations (Jamaat Tablighi, Hizb at-Tahrir, and al-Qaeda). This multidimensionality of Islamic politics proves that political Islam does not have the same shape and structure throughout the Muslim world.

Abstract

KH. A. Hasyim Muzadi is one of Indonesia's Muslim scholars who is known as a very moderate figure and active in efforts to realize religion peace and harmony not only in Indonesia, but also in the international community. Furthermore, KH. A. Hasyim Muzadi also founded the pesantren mahasiswa al-Hikam Malang as one of the efforts in realizing religious harmony, and this pesantren is the object of this research. The aim of this study is to find out the contribution of pesantren mahasiswa al-Hikam Malang in realizing religious peace and harmony. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. The results of this study are the contribution of Pesantren Mahasiswa al-Hikam Malang in realizing religious peace and harmony namely realizing Islamic education process based on Islam rahmatan lil’alamin and establishing inclusive students.

Abstract

The problem of moral decadence among high school students in this digital era is increasingly widespread. As educational institutions, schools need to develop religious culture to improve students' morals. SMAN 1 Kota Malang is one of the schools that develops religious culture, so even though it is a state school, it has a powerful religious nuance. This research aims to analyze the process of forming religious culture and find a model for forming religious culture at SMAN 1 Kota Malang. This research uses a qualitative case study-type approach with interactive data analysis. The results of this research are (1) the process of forming religious culture at SMAN 1 Kota Malang through 4 stages, namely through providing knowledge and introducing theoretical religious values, religious activities, integration with various scientific fields, and continuous supervision. (2) the model for forming religious culture at SMAN 1 Kota Malang uses an organic-integrative model. This structural-organic-integrative model is a novelty or a new finding in this research. This study implies that it theoretically strengthens and develops the organic model in forming religious culture. Practically, the findings of this study have implications for the discovery of a new model, namely the organic-integrative model, that can be applied by all public schools in developing religious culture.
