Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential competency needed in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, driven by rapid technological advancements. This study aims to analyze the level of digital literacy of prospective teacher students in facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, focusing on students’ demographics, namely age, gender and length of study. Survey method was administered in this study, involving 120 prospective teacher students from Universitas Insan Budi Utomo as the respondents. The data were collected through a questionnaire of 1-5 Likert scale, which included questions assessing students' digital literacy levels. The findings of this study portrayed data on students' digital literacy levels according to demographics (gender, age, and length of study). In general, the digital literacy level of Insan Budi Utomo University students is known to be in the “fairly good” category with an average score of 3.14 for the knowledge aspect and 3.20 for the usage aspect. The results of this study are recommended as a reference for designing learning experiences that empower digital literacy, supporting students in becoming more digitally proficient.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan kepada para guru di MTs Al-Amin dalam memanfaatkan platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) dalam rangka implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di MTs Al-Amin. Subjek dalam pelatihan ini adalah seluruh guru di MTs Al-Amin Malang yang berjumlah 12 orang sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam memanfaatkan Platform Merdeka Mengajar. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan selama 4 hari dengan durasi 8 jam setiap harinya. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada hari Senin sampai dengan Kamis, 19-22 Juni 2023. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan dapat diketahui bahwa para guru di MTs Al-Amin mendapatkan pengetahuan dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya mengakses dan mengeksplorasi platform merdeka mengajar dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka.Hal ini sangat membantu para guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka di MTs Al-Amin.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of student’s learning motivation in Basic Teaching Skills course. Descriptive quantitative method was applied in this study, in which the numerical data were presented in descriptive form. The Likert-scale was used to measure the questionnaire as the instrument of this study. Findings showed that according to the result of motivation scale table, it could be stated that the students were in a ‘very good’ category of learning motivation. In details, the average score for each question item was 65.81, which determined as ‘very good’. While the average score for the whole question items was 156.85, considered as ‘very good’. Along with that, the highest score was found in question number 42 (score 80 and categorized as ‘very good’), while the lowest score was in question item 35 (score 41 and categorized as ‘enough’). Thus, in reference to the statement of the questionnaire, it was fair to say that students were genuinely happy and excited in learning Basic Teaching Skills despite the fact that they found it worthless for current and future situation.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang harus ada dalam proses pembelajaran. Melihat betapa pentingnya bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran maka pengembangan bahan ajar di tingkat perguruan tinggi cukup banyak dilakukan agar dihasilkan bahan ajar yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran sehingga menghasilkan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Salah satu bahan ajar yang belum dikembangkan di Universitas Insan Budi Utomo adalah bahan ajar elektronik (e-book) matakuliah desain dan strategi pembelajaran. Selama ini pengembangan dan penggunaan bahan ajar matakuliah Desain dan Strategi pembelajaran masih terbatas pada pemanfaatan power point presentation (ppt). Belum ada pengembangan bahan ajar elektronik berupa e-book. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar elektronik (e-book) berbasis konstruktivis. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan Model ADDIE. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi pedoman wawancara dan observasi pembelajaran matakuliah Desain dan Strategi Pembelajaran, angket validasi ahli materi, media dan bahasa serta angket respon mahasiswa dan dosen terhadap implementasi produk. Hasil uji kelayakan produk oleh ahli media menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 94,35%; hasil uji ahli media sebesar 83,45% dan ahli Bahasa sebesar 71,43% keduanya dalam kategori layak dengan predikat bagus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk e-book yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan predikat bagus.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the career interests of PJKR students at Universitas Insan Budi Utomo after they participated in the Kampus Mengajar program. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 30 respondents through a 9-item questionnaire that covered affective, cognitive, and conative dimensions. The data analysis revealed that 57% of students had a high interest level, 33% had a very high interest level, and 10% had a moderate interest level. Additionally, item-level analysis revealed strong emotional engagement: 96.6% felt proud helping students, and 93.4% enjoyed teaching. Cognitively, 90% understood teacher responsibilities, and 86.7% felt confident in PJOK teaching methods. Conative responses were slightly lower; 83.3% intended to join PPG, and 86.6% planned to apply as PJOK teachers. While affective and cognitive dimensions were highly positive, a slight dip in commitment-related items suggests varying levels of certainty in long-term career plans. These findings highlight the positive impact of experiential learning in fostering teaching interest, especially in physical education.
