Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of unemployment rate and workforce structure on economic growth in West Java during the period 2019-2024. The method used is path analysis with secondary data obtained from various official sources. The results of the analysis show that the relationship between unemployment rate (X1) and workforce structure (X2) on economic growth (Y) tends to be weak, with an R-squared value of 2.8%, indicating that the model is only able to explain 2.8% of the variation in economic growth. This study concludes that unemployment rate and workforce structure do not have a significant effect on economic growth in West Java during the study period. Other factors not included in the model are likely to contribute more to economic growth. This finding underscores the importance of considering additional variables and improving research methods in regional economic analysis.

Abstract

Implementing policies related to regional government affairs significantly impacts the administration and reporting processes within local governance structures. This study investigates the influence of such policies on the Regional Government Administration Report (LPPD) at the Governance Section of the Regional Secretariat of Indramayu District. By employing a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques, the research aims to understand how policy implementation affects the effectiveness and accuracy of the LPPD. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to establish a theoretical framework, drawing on critical concepts in policy implementation and regional governance. The study's population includes officials and administrators within the Governance Section, with data collected through surveys and interviews. The findings reveal that effective policy implementation positively correlates with the quality of the LPPD, highlighting key factors such as resource allocation, training, and stakeholder engagement. However, challenges such as bureaucratic inertia and limited technical capacity were also identified as barriers to optimal implementation. The study concludes by providing practical recommendations for enhancing policy implementation processes and improving the LAPD's role in regional governance. Future research directions are suggested to explore further the dynamics between policy implementation and administrative reporting in other regional contexts.

Abstract

This clinical laboratory plays a vital role in supporting the health sector by conducting tests and analyses related to diseases, health conditions, and factors affecting the community. However, these activities also generate domestic liquid waste that can pose a serious threat to the environment and public health if not managed effectively. Effective management of domestic liquid waste is crucial, given the importance of the clinical laboratory's role in supporting the health sector and the need for accurate testing.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology today, we must continue to follow the development of the digital transformation era, where educational institutions need a strong system to manage information efficiently. Academic Information Systems are an important framework that helps educational organizations simplify their functions, improve communication, improve student services, process student and teacher data in schools, and support decision-making processes. The purpose of creating this system at Avicena Rajeg Vocational School is to facilitate the administrative process, especially data management because previously there was no system to help students and teachers manage data. The authors used information gathering methods to conduct their research. This method collects data from the authorities to find out the root cause of the problem, and then analyzes the data. In order to obtain the data, the authors conducted direct observations in schools, the collection and study of documents—documentation that will help with this research—and interviews with relevant parties in schools are necessary. At this point, some problems were found with the management of school data and solutions to these problems. The results of this research will help in the development of a more efficient academic information system. The result is that with a data management system for teachers and students, everything will be more organized and more informed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of inclusive and participatory leadership in increasing community engagement in village development. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines the leadership style of village heads in Citengah Village and its impact on public participation. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then processed using qualitative data reduction, presentation, and verification techniques. The findings indicate that community participation in decision-making and development implementation remains low due to ineffective government communication, limited public awareness, and bureaucratic constraints. The passive role of the community has resulted in weak ownership of development programs, reducing their effectiveness and sustainability. The research highlights that village heads who apply adaptive and participatory leadership can create a more conducive environment for active community involvement. Open dialogue, collaboration with the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and inclusive policy-making processes enhance transparency and accountability in village governance. Additionally, technology-based communication strategies, such as social media platforms and digital community forums, improve public access to information and allow broader participation. Strengthening digital literacy and community education on development policies also plays a crucial role in fostering awareness and engagement. This study concludes that enhancing the leadership capacity of village heads in communication, transparency, and digital integration is essential for building more democratic and participatory governance. Implementing these strategies is expected to lead to more effective, inclusive, and sustainable village development that aligns with the needs and aspirations of the community.

Abstract

Background. In an era that continues to develop, village officials are expected to be able to follow the flow of change that includes the dynamics of government regulations, information technology advancements, and social transformation in the community. Their duties now focus not only on the administrative aspect but also include essential roles as quality public service providers, transparent financial managers, and drivers of citizen participation in the village development process. Aims. The research titled Enhancing the Capabilities of Village Apparatus through Training Needs Analysis in Cibunar Village, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency aims to identify key areas of training essential for improving the effectiveness of village officials in handling administrative functions and delivering quality public services. Methods. This study is grounded in realizing that village autonomy, as outlined in the Village Law, demands qualified and adaptable human capital. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through in-depth interviews and participatory observation involving village leaders selected based on their relevance and roles. Result. The study found that the most pressing training needs include administrative skills, the integration of technology, and communication proficiency, with administrative and technological competencies ranked as top priorities. The training needs were assessed across three main aspects: organizational structures, job-related responsibilities, and individual skillsets. This comprehensive method provides a solid framework for designing practical and targeted training initiatives. Conclusion. The study concludes that training programs tailored to the actual challenges faced in the field can significantly improve the performance of village apparatus. Implementation. These outcomes support evidence-based policy-making and enhance local governance, especially in pursuing sustainable and adaptive administrative systems.

Abstract

Perpustakaan memungkinkan siswa dan masyarakat membaca dan mencari informasi, serta menawarkan peminjaman dan pengembalian buku. Perpustakaan pada SMAN 24 Kab Tangerang masih menggunakan sistem manual untuk menyimpan dan meminjamkan buku karena menyebabkan proses menjadi lambat, rawan kesalahan, dan sulit dipantau. Data mudah hilang atau rusak karena tidak ada backup. Pustakawan harus bekerja lebih keras, sementara pengguna menghadapi antrean dan layanan yang kurang efisien. Selain itu, sistem manual tidak cocok untuk jumlah koleksi atau anggota yang besar dan meningkatkan biaya operasional. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses pengumpulan data ini, diperlukan sistem yang lebih akurat, maka diputuskan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi perpustakaan yang berbasis internet untuk mempermudah proses pendataan. Sistem Perpustakaan ini dibangun dengan metode Agile sebagai metodologi pengembangan software yang fleksible dan efisien, dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan datanya diolah menggunakan database MySQL, serta SLiMS 9 bulian (Senayan Library Management System). Hasil dari mengimplemantasikan sebuah website berbasis QR-Code berhasil meningkatkan tingkat akurasi dalam memudahkan pencarian keberadaan buku karena adanya Fasilitas Online Public Acces Cataloging (OPAC) pada Otomasi Digital Library, serta Digital Library juga memberikan kemudahan pembuatan basis data koleksi sehingga akan memudahkan petugas dalam menambahkan data koleksi buku baru. Karena sistem informasi perpustakaan dibuat untuk membantu proses peminjaman dan pengembalian buku supaya lancer dan mempermudah dan mencegah kesalahan atau masalah dalam penginputan data dan laporan perpustakaan.

Abstract

With great advances in the world of information technology in the industrial era 4.0, efficiency and accuracy in the production process are crucial factors to increase the company's competitiveness. One of the important aspects is material monitoring, especially in the material judgement process in the TBR Plant (Truck and Bus Radial) Division, which requires an information system that supports the material assessment, starting from the hold process, judgement, making reports on the results of the TBR judging plant monitoring to superiors. This study aims to design and develop a material judgement monitoring application based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology integrated with the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system to unravel errors in data control, inaccurate reports, and delays in finding the required data are all the results of manual systems. With the application of RFID, every material can be tracked in real time from the inspection process to the production line. Integration with MES enables data synchronization between production systems and enterprise information systems, supporting fast and accurate decision-making. The results of the implementation show an increase in the efficiency of material recording time, the accuracy of data judgement, and the reduction of human error in the tracking process. This application is expected to be an effective digital solution in supporting a more transparent, efficient, and digitized production system in the manufacturing industry environment.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi menjadi salah satu daya dukung dalam proses pemerintahan, Pemerintah Daerah Kota Cirebon menyelenggarakan Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) di bidang layanan kepegawaian yang diperkuat dengan dukungan regulasi-regulasi. Berangkat dari kesulitan-kesulitan untuk layanan kepegawaian secara manual dalam sistem manajemen kepegawaian Aparatur Sipil Negara yang berbasis kinerja, diluncurkanlah aplikasi SAMPEAN SAMPEAN (Sistem Aplikasi Mobile Kepegawaian) yang menjadi dashboard untuk seluruh informasi kepegawaian di Kota Cirebon. Informasi kinerja berupa presensi dan laporan kerja harian, dan perhitungan tambahan penghasilan pegawai yang semakin real-time, akurat, transparan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui sejumlah Informan pegawai di Kantor Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Cirebon , Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, studi dokumen dan observasi langsung oleh peneliti. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan absensi Elektronik SAMPEAN (Sistem Aplikasi Mobile Kepegawaian)pada pegawai Kantor Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kota Cirebon cenderung meningkatkan disiplin terhadap kehadiran pegawai, dengan dukungan adanya data yang tercatat secara detail tentang ketepatan pegawai masuk maupun pulang kantor. Namun dalam penerapan teknologi absensi elektronik SAMPEAN (Sistem Aplikasi Mobile Kepegawaian) ini, masih menemui beberapa kendala diantaranya keterlambatan jam masuk pegawai serta aksesibilitas pegawai jika berkaitan dengan tempat tinggal dan lokasi kegiatan.
