Abstract

Information systems are created in stores in order to easily process data and produce the information needed quickly, accurately, precisely, effectively, and efficiently, reducing spending costs. The purpose of this study is to produce a forecasting system for tempeh demand to suit consumer needs when marketed. This type of research is research and development using the waterfall model. This model consists of stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The analysis was conducted to obtain the needed data regarding tempeh using the weighted moving average (WMA) method. While we make this design, such as flowcharts, use cases, and data flow diagrams, Furthermore, the implementation of the women's tempeh factory was carried out, and testing was carried out using black box testing. The data we use is request data from September 29, 2023, to December 23, 2023. Our findings show that the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) to predict tempeh demand is 3.83%; this result is quite small, so the accuracy rate obtained is 96.17%. In addition, the results of the system we developed are also in accordance with the results of manual calculations. This is also evidenced by the absence of errors that occur after testing using black box testing. So that this system can be used to manage tempeh, it is ready to be marketed by the female tempeh factory.

Abstract

Abstract: Due to the successful conversion from LPG stoves to electric stoves, which are unsupported by the village’s electricity supply—averaging 450 watts—while government-provided stoves have a power rating of 900 watts, making them unsuitable for use in Tomuanhollbung Village. To address this issue, the research team designed a stove that uses waste oil (35,000 kJ/kg) and incorporated embedded system technology, utilizing the French design research method. The research results indicated that by using a DC motor with specifications of 12VDC/3A, 3800 rpm, and a valve diameter of 9.7 x 9.5 x 3.3 cm, a power output of 36W was achieved, with a pressure of 288.7 Pa or 0.00289 bar and an angular velocity of 398.1 rad/s. When the burner stove was first ignited, the flame appeared yellow. With a voltage of 3.7VDC/3A, it produced a rotation of 3795 rpm, a yellow flame, a flame height of 8 cm from the stove, and a flame width diameter of approximately 18 cm. At a voltage of 3.7VDC, the pressure measured 0.000964 bar, with a flame temperature of 275°C (as measured by an infrared sensor). A voltage of 7.4VDC resulted in a pressure of 0.0192 bar and a flame temperature of 350°C, while a voltage of 11.8VDC produced a pressure of 0.0289 bar with a maximum flame temperature of 420°C. For fuel consumption over 10 minutes at 3.7VDC/3A, the flame height reached 7-10 cm, with a wind pressure of 0.000964 bar and a fuel consumption of 0.237 grams.                                                          Keywords : embedded system burner stove; microcontroller; snail dc  motor. Abstrak: Dilatar belakangi masalah kelangkaan elpiji didesa tomuanhollbung, serta tidak berhasilnya konversi kompor elpiji  menuju kompor listrik karena daya listrik rumah masyarakat berdaya 450wat,  daya kompor pemerintah 900watt, sehingga tidak bisa digunakan. Dari masalah tersebut, tujuan utama penelitian ini merancang kompor berbahan bakar oli bekas, yang mampu mengatasi masalah kelangkaan gas elpiji dan tidak terpakainya kompor dari pemerintah psat.  Metode penelitian ini menggnakan metode prototype sehingga menghasilkan satu produk kompor burner dengan mengatur kecepatan motor DC. Hasil penelitian mendapati data pengujian mendapati bahwa dengan menggunakan motor DC Keong spesifikasi tegangan 12VDC/3A, 3800 rpm, dengan diameter katup 9,7 x 9.5 x 3.3cm menghasilkan daya 36W, dengan tekanan 288.7Pa atau 0.00289bar kecepatan sudut 398.1 rad/s. Ketika kompor burner pertama kali dinyalakan, warna api berwarna kunig. Jika tegangan 3.7VDC/3A akan menghasilkan putaran 3795rpm  nyala api kuning, tinggi api 8cm dari tunggku kompor, dan diameter lebar keluarnya api dari tungku berkisar 18cm. Tegangan 3,7VDC maka menghasilkan tekanan 0.000964bar, nyala api 275 0C (pembacaan sensor infrared).  Tegangan 7.4VDC menghasilkan tekanan 0.0192 bar, nyala api 350 0C, dan Tegangan 11.8 VDC tekanan 0.0289 bar, nyala api maksimal 420 0C.  Untuk konsumsi bahan bakar selama 10 menit, dengan tegangan 3.7VDC/3A mendapati nyala api setinggi 7-10 cm, tekanan angin senilai 000964 bar dan konsumsi bahan bakar 0.237 gram. Kesimpulan penelitian ini mendapati bahwa nyala api kompor burner bisa di atur seperti nyala api kompor elpiji pada umum nya.                                                     Kata kunci: kompor burner embedded system, microcontroller, motor dc keong.

Clean water is one of the necessities for humans, especially to meet the washing needs of families. Most of the population in the Asahan district still uses drilled well water as a source of clean water to meet their water needs. The results from inhalation of water will also be filtered, and usually, within 30 minutes, the water will turn yellow again. During this time, the cleaning of the water filtering container is cleaned every 1 - 2 weeks, with a long cleaning time of 30 minutes to 1 hour. From the field study, the research team designed a filter by utilizing six paralon pipes with a size of 3.5 inc, 1 m long, with a clarification module for each pipe, starting from the first pipe with spongy media, the second pipe for gravel media, the third medium, soil, and sand. The fourth media is charcoal, the fifth media, and the sixth paralon, and the sixth media is palm fiber. The results of the water reading in the first pipe to the fourth pipe found the ph of water at an index of 5-6 ph, with an average sensor output voltage value of 4787 mV. The sensor supply and the pH reader controller use a 7.4 VDC supply voltage and a 5VDC / 5A.

Abstract

The design of a lighting automation system for dragon fruit plants uses an LDR sensor as a light intensity detector. This system is supported by a solar module with a capacity of 10-20 watts to supply power to a 12V battery which is paralleled to 24V. This voltage was then changed by the inverter to 220VAC to light 10 lights as research samples. Tests show that the LDR sensor works optimally at 5VDC voltage. If the voltage supplied is less or more than 5VDC, the sensor cannot function properly. Analysis of the conversion of ADC values to output voltage shows consistent results according to the test table. In addition, using 12VDC voltage directly on the LDR causes the sensor to not function because the LDR is designed for low voltage (≤5V). Without a suitable resistor, excessive current can damage sensor components. The system design is able to minimize the use of electricity sources from PLN and is an energy-saving solution for lighting dragon fruit plants in the field.         Keywords: agriculture sustainable; dragon fruit trees; photosynthesis; renewable energy;solar cells                                                                                                             Abstrak: Rancangan sistem otomatisasi lampu pada tanaman buah naga menggunakan sensor LDR sebagai pendeteksi intensitas cahaya. Sistem ini didukung oleh modul surya berkapasitas 10-20 watt untuk menyuplai daya ke baterai 12V yang diparalel menjadi 24V. Tegangan ini kemudian diubah oleh inverter menjadi 220VAC untuk menyalakan 10 lampu sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor LDR bekerja optimal pada tegangan 5VDC. Jika tegangan yang diberikan kurang atau lebih dari 5VDC, sensor tidak dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Analisis konversi nilai ADC ke tegangan output menunjukkan hasil yang konsisten sesuai tabel pengujian. Selain itu, penggunaan tegangan 12VDC langsung pada LDR menyebabkan sensor tidak berfungsi karena LDR dirancang untuk tegangan rendah (≤5V). Tanpa resistor yang sesuai, arus yang berlebih dapat merusak komponen sensor. Rancangan sistem mampu meminimalisir penggunaan sumber listrik dari PLN dan menjadi solusi hemat energi untuk penerangan tanaman buah naga di lapangan.                                       Kata kunci: energi terbarukan; fotosintesis; pertanian berkelanjutan; pohon buah naga; solarcell

Abstract

Di era digital yang terus berkembang, Internet menjadi kebutuhan esensial dalam berbagai bidang, namun kemajuan ini juga membawa tantangan serius dalam hal keamanan data. Ancaman kejahatan cyber, terutama serangan Denial of Service (DoS) seperti SYN Flood, meningkat secara signifikan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kerentanan sistem informasi terpusat terhadap serangan SYN Flood, yang dapat mengganggu layanan dengan menghabiskan sumber daya server melalui permintaan palsu yang berulang. Dalam konteks ini, Mikrotik Routerboard muncul sebagai solusi melalui fitur keamanannya, termasuk Firewall yang dapat memfilter dan melacak koneksi data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas Firewall Mikrotik dalam meningkatkan keamanan jaringan dan mengurangi risiko serangan cyber. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang serangan SYN Flood, membuktikan efektivitas fitur keamanan Mikrotik, serta menyusun strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh organisasi untuk memperkuat pertahanan jaringan mereka. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dalam bidang keamanan siber dan menjadi referensi praktis bagi pengguna jaringan.

Abstract

Oral health problems are more vulnerable in children with disabilities than children in general. One of the efforts to minimize these problems is to increase parents' awareness of the importance of maintaining effective oral health in children with disabilities. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the knowledge and skills of parents who have children with disabilities in the early detection of oral health problems so that severity does not occur. This community service program is in the form of socialization activities and early detection skills training conducted for 71 parents/caregivers on 20 September 2024 at the RSGMP Baiturrahmah Hall, Padang City. Pre and post-assessment of parents' knowledge and skills were conducted, out of 72 parents/caregivers only 39 parents/caregivers completed the pre and post-test. The results of the analysis of existing data showed a significant increase in both the knowledge and skills of parents in the early detection of oral health problems. This activity needs to be carried out regularly as a promotional effort to improve the degree of oral health in children with disabilities.

Abstract

Abstrak: The large number of coffee lovers sometimes makes coffee maker users overwhelmed in mixing coffee and combining various flavors, blends of coffee and other mixed ingredients such as milk, sugar, sweeteners and others. Apart from that, sometimes it takes a long time to make coffee, so many consumers complain and sometimes work accidents occur. when making or compounding coffee (the glass spills).  After conducting research, it was found that the device design had 5 inputs, consisting of 5 buttons which were supplied with 5VDC voltage and supplied by Arduino. Meanwhile, the output consists of 5 outputs, or 5 pump motors which are supplied from a 12VDC/2A adapter. When button 1 is pressed, the LCD 2004+I2C will display information in the form of the type of drink that will be dispensed, as well as buttons 2 to button 4. Each delay on the pump motor has its own delay, where pump 1 has a delay setting of 17 seconds for the glass filling size. 0.250 ml, for pump 2 the delay setting is 33 seconds, pump 3 has a delay setting of 22 seconds, pump 4 has a delay setting of 15 seconds and pump 5 has a delay setting of 9 seconds. The difference in delay settings is influenced by the length of the pipe or hose that will fill the glass. Kata kunci: coffee machine; 5 input; 5 output; beverage filling machine.  Abstract: Banyaknya penikmat coffe, terkadang membuat user pembuat kopi kewalahan dalam meracik coffe dan memadukan berbagai macam rasa paduan antara coffe dan bahan campuran lainnya seperti susu, gula, pemanis dan lainnya, selain itu terkadang lamanya waktu pembuatan coffe sehingga banyak konsumen mengelurh serta terkadang terjadi kecelakaan kerja pada saat pembuatan atau peracikan coffe (gelas tumpah).  Setelah dilakukannya penelitian mendapati bahwa Rancangan alat memiliki 5 input, yang terdiri 5 button yang disupply dengan tegangan 5VDC dan disupply oleh arduino. Sedangkan output terdiri dari 5 ouput, atau 5 motor pompa yang disupply dari adaptor 12VDC/2A. Ketika button 1 ditekan, maka LCD 2004+I2C akan menampilkan informasi berupa jenis minuman yang akan dikeluarkan, begitu juga dengan button 2 sampai dengan button 4. Setiap delay pada motor pompa memiliki delay tersendiri, dimana pompa 1 pengaturan delay 17 detik untuk ukuran pengisian gelas 0,250 ml, untuk pompa 2 pengaturan delay 33 detik, pompa 3 pengaturan delay 22 detik, pompa 4 pengaturan delay 15 detik dan pompa 5 p pengaturan delay 9 detik. Perbedaan pengaturan delay dipengaruhi panjang pipa atau selang yang akan mengisi gelas. Keyword: mesin kopi; 5 input; 5 output; mesin fiiling minuman.

Abstract

Abstract: In the retail industry, effective supply chain management is essential to ensure stock availability aligns with market demand. Gasti Jaya Store, a growing shoe retailer, faces challenges in optimizing inventory management, often leading to stock surpluses or shortages. These issues can impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. To address this problem, this study the implementation of Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM) as a solution to optimize supply chain management. E-SCM enables the integration of technology-based systems for real-time stock monitoring, procurement, and distribution. Using a case study method and a qualitative approach, this research evaluates the effectiveness of E-SCM in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing excess stock, and accelerating the distribution process at Gasti Jaya Store. The findings indicate that E-SCM implementation improves data transparency, speeds up decision-making, and enhances customer satisfaction. Additionally, the system helps reduce operational costs by optimizing inventory management and minimizing the risk of stock imbalances. In conclusion, the adoption of E-SCM can serve as an effective strategy for mid-sized retail businesses to improve their competitiveness and supply chain efficiency.Keywords: E-SCM; inventory stock; operational efficiency.  Abstrak: Dalam industri ritel, manajemen rantai pasok yang efektif sangat diperlukan untuk memastikan ketersediaan stok sesuai dengan permintaan pasar. Toko Gasti Jaya sebagai salah satu toko sepatu yang berkembang menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola persediaan secara optimal, yang sering kali menyebabkan kelebihan atau kekurangan stok. Permasalahan ini dapat berdampak pada efisiensi operasional dan kepuasan pelanggan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan penerapan Electronic Supply Chain Management (E-SCM) sebagai solusi dalam mengoptimalkan manajemen rantai pasok. E-SCM memungkinkan integrasi sistem berbasis teknologi dalam proses pemantauan stok, pengadaan barang, hingga distribusi secara real-time. Dengan metode studi kasus dan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas E-SCM dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mengurangi kelebihan stok, serta mempercepat proses distribusi di Toko Gasti Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi E-SCM mampu meningkatkan transparansi data, mempercepat pengambilan keputusan, dan meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Selain itu, sistem ini membantu mengurangi biaya operasional dengan mengoptimalkan manajemen persediaan dan meminimalkan risiko ketidakseimbangan stok. Kesimpulannya, penerapan E-SCM dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif bagi bisnis ritel skala menengah untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan efisiensi rantai pasok mereka.Kata Kunci: E-SCM; efisiensi operasional; persediaan stok.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the growth of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants through environmental monitoring and control using a pH sensor, LM35 temperature sensor, and air humidity sensor within a hydroponic planting system. The methodology involves designing an automatic monitoring system based on a microcontroller integrated with the three sensors. The pH sensor monitors the acidity level of the nutrient solution, the LM35 measures ambient temperature, and the humidity sensor records the relative air humidity around the plants. Data were collected periodically and analyzed in relation to plant growth parameters such as height, number of leaves, and leaf color over a 30-day cultivation period. The results show that the sensor-based monitoring system successfully maintained environmental parameters within optimal ranges, positively impacting Pakcoy plant growth, with an average height increase of 18% compared to a system without automatic control. The study concludes that the integrated use of pH, LM35, and humidity sensors in a hydroponic system significantly enhances cultivation efficiency and plant growth quality.            Keywords: Hydroponics; Pakcoy; pH Sensor; LM35; Air Humidity; Microcontroller;  Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) melalui pengawasan dan pengendalian lingkungan tumbuh berbasis sensor pH, sensor suhu LM35, dan sensor kelembaban udara dalam sistem penanaman hidroponik. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi perancangan sistem monitoring otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler yang terintegrasi dengan ketiga sensor tersebut. Sensor pH digunakan untuk memantau keasaman larutan nutrisi, LM35 untuk mengukur suhu lingkungan, dan sensor kelembaban udara untuk mencatat kadar kelembaban relatif di sekitar tanaman. Data dikumpulkan secara berkala dan dianalisis terhadap parameter pertumbuhan tanaman seperti tinggi, jumlah daun, dan warna daun selama masa tanam 30 hari. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa sistem monitoring berbasis sensor mampu menjaga parameter lingkungan dalam batas optimal, yang berdampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Pakcoy, dengan peningkatan rata-rata tinggi tanaman sebesar 18% dibandingkan sistem tanpa kontrol otomatis. Simpulan dari Pengabdian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan sensor pH, LM35, dan kelembaban udara secara terintegrasi dalam sistem hidroponik mampu meningkatkan efisiensi budidaya dan kualitas pertumbuhan tanaman secara signifikan. Kata kunci: Hidroponik; Pakcoy; Sensor pH; LM35; Kelembaban Udara;        Mikrokontroler;
