Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the school literacy movement through the GICA intracuricular (morning reading) and GITA (morning storytelling) at the habituation stage and to know the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the school literacy movement through the GICA intracuricular movement (morning reading) and GITA (morning storytelling) habituation at SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta. This type of research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study are the principal, teachers, students, data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the Miles and Huberman models. The data validity technique in this study uses the triangulation of techniques and sources. Based on observations, interviews, and documentation, it is known that the implementation of the school literacy movement through the GICA intracuricular (morning reading) and GITA (morning storytelling) at the habituation stage at SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen Yogyakarta has been carried out. Supporting factors include school community awareness about the importance of literacy culture, students' awareness, availability of literacy facilities and infrastructures such as school libraries and reading angles, posters and bulletin boards in the school environment, library visit activities, active participation of school residents, program socialization school literacy movements, and parent participation of students. The inhibiting factors include book collection not complete, some reading corners have not used bookshelves, the implementation of the GITA program (morning storytelling) has not been maximized, and the new library staff has not optimally run library visits.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to determine the learning difficulties of students in learning Javanese and the factors that cause learning difficulties of students in learning Javanese in class V SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran II Yogyakarta. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, the class V homeroom teacher, and the fifth grade students. The object of the study was to observe those related to student learning difficulties in the fifth grade Javanese learning of SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran II Yogyakarta. The data collection techniques used were interviews and document review. The validity of the data used source and method triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman Model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the factors causing student learning difficulties in Javanese learning can be seen from several types of student learning difficulties, including: difficulties in academic tasks, low learning achievement far below certainty of intelligence, learning disabilities, Learning Disfunction, and Under Achiever. While the factors causing student learning difficulties are internal factors seen from several internal factors that cause student learning difficulties, namely: attitudes towards learning, motivation, interests, social adjustment, students' intelligence level, and physical condition. Teachers of SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran II Yogyakarta have taken action against students who have difficulty learning the teacher teaches using a variety of methods.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation must become more aware of cultural diversity, as many students still lack this awareness. Indonesia is known for its multicultural and pluralistic society, emphasizing the need to introduce cultural diversity in education. At PGSD UAD, fine arts and skills classes, particularly woodcraft, embody multicultural education principles. Understanding cultural pluralism helps maintain cultural heritage and mutual respect. This research aims to describe the woodcraft learning process at PGSD UAD and design multicultural education through this medium. Using qualitative methods like observation, interviews, and document reviews, the study focuses on UAD PGSD students practicing wooden batik in Krebet Village. The findings reveal a structured learning process involving material selection, design stages, and creating batik motifs representing diverse cultures. Multicultural education at PGSD UAD fosters an inclusive environment where students access equal educational opportunities, regardless of race, ethnicity, or other factors. Woodcraft products reflect various ethnic influences from across Indonesia.

Abstract

This article is research results about making Krebet “batik” masks in groups carried out by PGSD students. Research’s aims to describe the application of Pierre Bourdieu's concept of habitus and Wallas' creative process. Research methodology is qualitative and case study approach. Data collection techniques are observation and document review. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The subjects researched were PGSD FKIP UAD students, while the objects were Krebet wooden batik masks. Results show that: (1) students applying habitus concept in the practice of making “batik” wooden masks (knowledge, understanding, perceptions, values, and actions) that are internalized as part of society in Yogyakarta; (2) students were integrated habitus concept in the stages of the creative process: (a) the preparation stage which is carried out by forming groups and discussing the theme of “batik” motifs; (b) incubation stage, search for inspiration forms explored of motifs following “batik” objects; (c) illumination stage on the surface of the mask with "canthing" and liquid wax according to the design; d) verification stage by testing new visualization ideas in making designs on paper and transferring them to the wood directly based on the basic elements of fine art.

Abstract

AbstractThe article's background is to dissect the results of the analysis of creativity habitus from drawing illustrations through appropriate theories or concepts. The purpose of writing is to describe the study's results using a grounded theory approach. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, and document review. Important features of the grounded theory approach are: a) using theory as an explanation of a phenomenon in the practice of making illustrative images in online learning; b) research questions are directed to explore problems; c) data analysis is carried out in stages through the stages of consulting the concept and design of the work; d) data collection; e) data analysis supported by theoretical reinforcement. The study results show that the habitus process of creativity in making illustration images can be dissected with relevant theories or concepts so that an understanding of work practices in art education for elementary school children is obtained. Keywords: habitus, creativity, illustration image AbstrakLatar belakang penulisan artikel adalah membedah hasil analisis habitus kreativitas dari proses menggambar ilustrasi melalui teori atau konsep yang sesuai. Tujuan penulisan adalah menguraikan hasil kajian dengan pendekatan grounded theory. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari proses observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Ciri-ciri penting pada pendekatan grounded theory yaitu: a) menggunakan teori sebagai penjelasan tentang suatu fenomena praktik membuat gambar ilustrasi pada pembelajaran daring; b) pertanyaan penelitian diarahkan untuk mengeksplorasi permasalahan; c) analisis data dilakukan secara bertahap melalui tahapan konsultasi konsep dan desain karya; d) pengumpulan data; e) analisis data yang didukung dengan penguatan teoretis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa proses habitus kreativitas dalam pembuatan gambar ilustrasi dapat dibedah dengan teori-teori atau konsep-konsep yang relevan, sehingga didapati pemahaman praktik berkarya dalam pendidikan seni bagi anak sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: habitus, kreativitas, gambar ilustrasi.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pemanfaatan bahan alam dan bekas pada SBdP Daring di sekolah melatih dan mengembangkan daya berpikir kreatif peserta didik, serta memberikan kegiatan yang produktif selama kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan secara jarak jauh (daring). Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan bahan alam dan barang bekas dalam SBdP daring serta faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pemanfaatan bahan alam dan barang bekas.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru dan 5 siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi (melakukan pengamatan, mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran melalui google meet), wawancara (informan), dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa : Kegiatan pemanfaatan bahan alam dan barang bekas dilakukan melalui aplikasi Whatsapp, Google Classroom dan Google Meet. Salah satu kegiatan pemanfaatan yaitu membuat kolase. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih berpikir kreatif, meningkatkan kreativitas, melatih daya imajinasi, lebih peduli dengan lingkungan, mengembangkan keterampilan, melatih telaten, teliti, kesabaran, serta menyelesaikan dan memecahkan masalah. Jenis bahan alam yang digunakan berupa daun-daun kering, biji-bijian, ranting, dan bambu. Sedangkan koran, sedotan, stik eskrim, gelas plastik, kardus, botol jenis barang bekas. Langkah-langkah kegiatan pemanfaatan di antaranya: 1) Guru menyiapkan rencana pembelajaran, 2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan,3) Guru mengapreasi hasil karya peserta didik. Kesadaran peserta didik terhadap lingkungan sudah bagus walaupun belum sepenuhnya dan perlu beberapa peserta didik yang diingatkan. Faktor pendukung dibedakan menjadi internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal berupa kemauan peserta didik, sedangkan eksternal dari lingkungan sekitar, orang tua, dan pemberian motivasi dari guru, serta guru memiliki kreativitas. Faktor penghambatnya adalah pembelajaran secara daring menyebabkan kegiatan kurang optimal, keterbatasan bahan atau alat, kesadaran peserta didik serta kurang teliti.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures, ethnicities, races, religions, and all kinds of differences. Seeing the unique characteristics of Indonesian society, full of multicultural, it is very interesting to look at the learning process. It can be seen that the nation's generation comes from young people, of course through education they can be given an understanding of differences. Murals can be used as an educational medium. The aim of this research is to analyze murals as a media and multicultural paradigm for PGSD students. This research method uses a qualitative research type. Using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and document review. Data analysis uses data reduction, data verification, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that murals are a type of fine arts education that can be used as a medium for the process of transferring knowledge to students. Through art murals, students can process their feelings by expressing themselves and refreshing themselves as well as becoming aware of various social problems. Apart from that, murals can also be useful for exploring local wisdom as one's own cultural potential, apart from honing oneself to understand the meaning of the value of mutual cooperation education. Apart from that, the mural paradigm can be seen through mural learning based on cultural pluralism and cultural diversity. The gap in this research is that murals are usually only used as expressions of artistic creation, even murals on the streets also give the impression of vandalism. However, apart from that, murals have the value of conveying a certain meaning in each work.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ekstrakurikuler kriya anyaman bambu sebagai proses kreativitas dan penguatan lokalitas siswa kelas V di SDN Tangkil Bantul. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek utama dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas V. Pengumpulan data dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalu tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, ekstrakurikuler kriya anyaman bambu mendorong proses kreativitas siswa kelas V di SDN Tangkil Bantul. Proses kreativitas yang terjadi pada siswa kelas V yaitu proses persiapan, inkubasi, iluminasi, serta verifikasi. Ekstrakurikuler kriya anyaman bambu memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkuat lokalitas siswa kelas V, kegiatan ini siswa terlibat secara langsung dalam praktik pembuatan kriya anyaman bambu sehingga siswa mengenal, menghargai, mengetahui nilai budaya, serta menumbuhkan rasa bangga dan tanggung jawab siswa untuk melestarikan budaya lokal kriya anyaman bambu.Kata kunci: ekstrakurikuler, kriya, anyaman bambu, kreativitas, lokalitas.AbstractBamboo Weaving Craft Extracurricular Activities as Strengthening of Student Locality and Creativity: A Case Study at Tangkil Bantul Public Elementary School. This research aims to describe extracurricular bamboo weaving crafts as a process of creativity and strengthening the locality of class V students at SDN Tangkil Bantul.  The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study method. The main subjects in this research were fifth grade students. Data were collected from observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques go through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.   The results of the research show that extracurricular bamboo woven crafts encourage the creativity process of class V students at SDN Tangkil Bantul. The creativity process that occurs in class V students is the process of preparation, incubation, illumination and verification. Extracurricular bamboo woven crafts have a positive impact in strengthening the locality of class V students. In this activity, students are directly involved in the practice of making bamboo woven crafts so that students know, appreciate and understand cultural values, as well as fostering a sense of pride and responsibility in students to preserve the local culture of bamboo woven crafts.Keywords: extracurricular, crafts, bamboo weaving, creativity, locality.

Abstract

Potorono Education Park (PEP) adalah salah satu objek wisata baru berbasis pendidikan di Dusun Salakan, Kelurahan Potorono, Kapanewon Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah pengembangan PEP baru sebatas adanya animatronik dinosaurus, belum dibarengi dengan edukasi dan literasi mengenai dinosaurus. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah melakukan  sosialisasi desa wisata berbasis literasi sains kepada pengurus PEP dan pemuda-pemudi Setya Bakti. Metode yang digunakan dalam persiapan dan sosialisasi adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta kegiatan. Sebelum pengabdian dilaksanakan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 67,25% dan setelah pengabdian menjadi 87%. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa pengabdian yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta. Peserta yaitu pengurus PEP dan pemuda pemudi Setyabakti menjadi meningkat pemahamannya tentang desa wisata berbasis literasi sains dan dinosaurus.   Strengthening the literacy-based Potorono Education Park (PEP) Tourism Village   Abstract: Potorono Education Park (PEP) is a new education-based tourist attraction in Salakan Hamlet, Potorono Village, Kapanewon Banguntapan, Bantul Regency. The problem that arises is that the development of PEP is only limited to the presence of animatronic dinosaurs and has not been accompanied by education and literacy about dinosaurs. This training aims to socialize scientific literacy-based tourism villages to PEP administrators and Setya Bakti youth. The methods used in the preparation and socialization are lectures and questions and answers. The result obtained is an increase in the knowledge of the activity participants. Before the service was carried out, the participants' knowledge was 67.25%, and after the service, it was 87%. This shows that the dedication carried out increased the participants' knowledge. The participants, namely the PEP board and the Setyabakti youth, increased their understanding of scientific literacy-based tourism villages and dinosaurs.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the creative process of making an ecoprint by students. The background of the writing is that there is a relationship between students' creative process in making patterns with aesthetic habitus in the eco print stages. The method used is qualitative with a narrative approach. The subjects studied were even semester students for the 2021/2022 academic year, while the object of study was making an ecoprint in groups. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and document review. The data analysis selected is narrative techniques. The study results show that steamed ecoprint works are carried out through a creative process involving habitus to achieve the work's aesthetics. The achievement of aesthetic habitus in the creative process is supported by five stages, namely: (1) the stage of understanding or problem formulation; (2) the preparation stage; (3) the incubation stage; the (4) stage of illumination; (5) verification stage. The essence of habitus is the condition of any objectification and perception described in the actions taken by PGSD UAD students who apply to learn behavior with nature and identify natural materials in ecoprint techniques and with assistance from supporting lecturers and art practitioners.
