The Merauke regency area has a village level government, one of which is Sota village which is one of the villages located on the border of the State of Indonesia and Papua New Gunea. One of the indigenous people who inhabit the Sota village area is the Marind Kanum Tribe. Administratively for community empowerment to increase income is one of the roles of the village government, especially for the indigenous people, the increase in income still needs to be increased Because the average income of the local community is still relatively low, therefore support from various parties including local government through the relevant agencies. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role and government of the Sota village in increasing the income of the indigenous people of Marind Kanum and to determine the extent to which the laws and regulations governed that. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the village government by assigning tasks to village officials is to provide training and aquipment assistance for business to local communities and transmigration which in this case is in accordance with Law number 6 of 2014 concerning Village Government. The purpose of this research is to find out how far the laws and regulations govern the authority of indigenous peoples in resolving customary disputes. The research method used in this study is Sociolegal. This research is a study that looks at law through a combination of normative analysis (legal norms, juridical) and non-legal science approaches. Socio-legal nature is prescriptive Giving solutions to legal problems by combining normative analysis and non-legal approaches / social aspects. The authority between the Marind Imbuti Indigenous Peoples Institution and the Marind Indigenous Peoples Institution Community of Kanum Tomer is the Marind Imbuti Indigenous Peoples Institution having the authority to carry out customary justice for each tribe / community in the disputed indigenous community while the customary community does not have the authority to conduct customary hearings for each member of the tribe disputes but all customary justice mechanisms carried out by the Marind Imbuti Community Institution and the Marind Kanum Indigenous Community as regulated in Article 10 of Perdasus Number 20 of 2008 cannot yet be legally accounted for because they are not in accordance with the instructions of article 10 paragraph (2) of Perdasus Number 20 Year 2008. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kekuatan hukum Sistem Noken dalam prespektif Undang – Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia 1945 dan untuk mengetahui eksistensi sistem noken pada masyarakat adat Papua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode penelitian normatif. Penelitian ini adalah suatu proses untuk menemukan aturan hukum prinsip-prinsip hukum, maupun doktrin- doktrin hukum guna menjawab isu hukum yang di hadapi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah Kearifan Lokal di akui keberadannya dalam pasal 18 UUD NRI Tahun 1945, dan Noken merupakan salah satu bentuk kearifan lokal yang terkait dengan sistem pemilihan umum dan secara otomatis di akui keberadannya dalam UUD NRI Tahun 1945. Penggunaan sistem noken bagi daerah Komunitas Noken itu sendiri sudah berlangsung sejak pemilu pertama di Papua yaitu pada tahun 1971, Kabupaten Yahukimo, Kabupaten Tolikara, Kabupaten Mamberamo Tengah, Kabupaten Lani Jaya, Kabupaten Puncak, Kabupaten Nduga, Kabupaten Intan Jaya dinamakan sebagai Komunitas Noken.

The institutional capacity of Bawaslu as a dispute resolver, starting from the personal commissioner of Bawaslu who has a strong vision regarding the design of dispute resolution as well as the carrying capacity of an organization that is capable of operationalizing its authority. Bawaslu itself has been strengthened by the existing electoral legal system, of course there are still various evaluations in strengthening the Bawaslu institution in order to achieve general elections that are not only democratic but also have integrity. This research aims to determine the Authority of the Election Supervisory Body Based on Legislative Mechanisms. In line with the problems to be researched, this research includes normative legal research using a Normative Juridical approach which takes primary data by conducting a literature review and secondary data by processing it from legal materials. primary, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. Bawaslu's authority in accordance with law number 7 of 2017 concerning general elections is weak, the existence of Bawaslu in previous elections seems to have been limited to "complementary" because the authority given to this institution was inadequate in contributing to upholding election justice.

Pekerja di lokalisasi seperti di Lokalisasi Yobar, Kabupaten Merauke, menghadapi kerentanan multidimensional, meliputi aspek sosial, ekonomi (informalitas, eksploitasi), dan kesehatan (khususnya risiko IMS/HIV). Meskipun telah ada kerangka hukum seperti Peraturan Daerah Nomor 3 Tahun 2013 yang relevan untuk perlindungan IMS (Pasal 32 ayat 2), implementasi di lapangan dan pemahaman pekerja terhadap kebermanfaatannya masih memerlukan evaluasi. Guna mengatasi kerentanan ini dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja secara holistik, dilakukan intervensi melalui pendampingan perizinan usaha sebagai upaya formalisasi ekonomi dan evaluasi partisipatif terhadap implementasi Perda Perlindungan IMS dari perspektif pekerja. Pendekatan partisipatif dipilih untuk memastikan pendampingan sesuai kebutuhan riil dan evaluasi mencerminkan pengalaman langsung penerima kebijakan. Pendampingan perizinan usaha bertujuan membuka akses ekonomi dan stabilitas, sementara evaluasi Perda bertujuan memahami efektivitas perlindungan kesehatan dan mengidentifikasi hambatan. Kombinasi kedua pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi berbagai lapis kerentanan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja di lokalisasi.

Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) are a form of implementing direct democracy in Indonesia which provides space for the people to choose their leaders. However, in practice, disputes over regional election results often occur, either due to differences in vote results or serious violations that affect the election process. The Constitutional Court (MK) plays a strategic role in resolving regional election results disputes based on the provisions of Law Number 10 of 2016, especially Article 158 which regulates the threshold for vote differences and exceptions for structured, systematic and massive (TSM) violations. This research uses a normative juridical method with an analytical approach to statutory regulations, Constitutional Court decisions, and empirical data related to the 2024 Pilkada. The results of the research show that the application of the vote difference threshold provisions provides initial screening for incoming lawsuits, while proving TSM violations remains the main challenge due to the complexity of the evidence and political pressure. The conclusion of this research confirms that the role of the Constitutional Court is very important in maintaining the legitimacy of the regional election results and the integrity of the democratic process in Indonesia.

This research is a Socio-Legal Analysis of the Role of Customary Institutions in Resolving Land Conflicts in Customary Forests in the Merauke Regency Region, while the problems to be studied are about how the position of customary forests belonging to the Marind customary community in the Merauke Regency area is in the perspective of legislation and how the process of transitioning customary forest land by the Marind indigenous people in the Merauke Regency area. The purpose of this study was to find out how the position of the customary forest belonging to the Marind customary community in the Merauke Regency area is in the perspective of legislation and to find out the process of resolving forest land conflicts by the Marind customary community in the Merauke Regency area. The research method used in this research is Juridical Sociolegal. This research is a study that looks at law through a combination of normative analysis (legal norms, juridical) and non-legal science approaches. Based on the Papua Province Perdasus Number 23 of 2008 concerning the Ulayat Rights of Indigenous Law Communities and Individual Rights of Indigenous Peoples to the Land of the Indigenous Peoples, Marind Imbuti, the owner of customary land in the Veterans area of Merauke Regency, does not own customary forest, but owns land or customary forest. The process of transitioning the Ulayat Forest belonging to the Marind Imbuti customary community inhabiting the Merauke Regency area must go through the Customary Process and Administrative Process, both of which are quite strict and selective.
