Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions on Syarah Bakery Bengkulu, to determine the effect of prices on purchasing decisions on Syarah Bakery Bengkulu, to determine the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions on Syarah Bakery Bengkulu. to find out the simultaneous influence of product quality, price, and also the promotion on purchasing decisions at Syarah Bakery Bengkulu. The population of this study is permanent customers of Syarah Bakery Bengkulu as the research population numbering 115 customers, from the calculation using purposive sampling it can be seen that the number of samples used in this study were 115 respondents. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability by looking at the corrected item total correlation and cronbanch's alpha and all were declared valid and reliable. Data analysis techniques used in this study is quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the product quality variable (X1) has a positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y), indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.216 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.005. Price variable (X2) has a positive effect on purchasing decisions (Y), indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.239 with a sig value of 0,000 <0.005. The promotion variable (X3) has a positive effect on purchasing decisions 0.110 (Y), indicated by a positive regression coefficient of 0.717 with a sig value of 0.003 <0.005. The F test results state that product quality, price and promotion have a significant and positive effect simultaneously on the decision purchase, obtained a value of 2.0638 with a value of sig = 0,000 <0.005. The influence of the product quality, price and promotion on purchasing decisions is R2 = 51.5% influenced by other variables in this study and the remaining 48.5%.

Abstract

The graphic design mentoring program using Canva for class X of SMKN 1 Kramatwatu Banten has 149 participants from all majors. It aims to improve students' abilities in the field of graphic design. Through this training, students are expected to be able to utilize digital technology to produce creative and innovative works that are relevant to current industry needs. The method used in this program is lectures that provide material directly to partners by resource persons. This program also involves direct practice sessions guided by experienced instructors to ensure a deep understanding of the design features and techniques in Canva. Based on the results of the activities, this training and mentoring are known to be effective in improving participants' graphic design skills. This is evidenced by the results of the pre-and post-test questionnaires for the activities to determine the results of the Community Service that has been carried out. The results of this mentoring program show a significant increase in students' abilities to create attractive and professional graphic designs. In addition, students also showed an increase in creativity and confidence in expressing their ideas through visual media. Overall, this mentoring has succeeded in improving students' competence in graphic design and preparing them to face challenges in an increasingly competitive world of work.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merangkum dan mengevaluasi potensi biji chia dan jintan hitam sebagai terapi untuk fibrosis hati, dengan meninjau berbagai studi ilmiah yang telah dipublikasikan antara tahun 2012 hingga 2022. Fibrosis hati merupakan respons penyembuhan luka akibat cedera berulang pada hati, seperti yang terjadi pada hepatitis virus, di mana regenerasi sel parenkim menggantikan sel yang mengalami nekrosis atau apoptosis. Biji-bijian seperti jintan hitam dan chia telah dikenal memiliki kandungan metabolit sekunder dengan sifat antioksidan dan anti-inflamasi. Jintan hitam berperan sebagai antioksidan dengan kemampuan "radical scavenging" yang efektif terhadap peroksidasi lipid dan degradasi deoxyribose, sedangkan biji chia dapat mengurangi produksi ROS dan nitrit, menghambat sekresi sitokin pro-inflamasi, serta meningkatkan ekspresi sitokin anti-inflamasi pada kondisi fibrosis hati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan tinjauan literatur dari jurnal ilmiah yang diakses melalui database seperti Pubmed, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa kedua biji-bijian ini memiliki potensi signifikan dalam menurunkan kerusakan oksidatif dan inflamasi yang terkait dengan fibrosis hati. Kesimpulannya, jintan hitam dan biji chia berpotensi menjadi terapi adjuvan dalam pengelolaan fibrosis hati, namun penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menentukan dosis dan mekanisme aksi yang optimal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah mendorong pengembangan lebih lanjut dari bahan alami sebagai alternatif terapi yang lebih aman dan efektif untuk mengatasi fibrosis hati.

Abstract

Stunting is strongly associated with impaired immune function, as chronically malnourished children tend to have weaker immunity and are more vulnerable to infection. This study aimed to examine the effect of temulawak–black cumin herbal honey on the adaptive immune system in stunted children. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was used. The findings showed that the intervention significantly increased height-for-age (TB/U) in the treatment group compared to the control group (p = 0.014). Weight-for-age (BB/U) also rose significantly within the treatment group (p = 0.013), but no significant difference was found relative to the control group (p = 0.192). The supplement significantly elevated IgM levels in the treatment group (p = 0.001), though again without a significant difference from the control (p = 0.546). CD4 concentration decreased in the treatment group (p = 0.003), but the change was not significantly different from the control (p = 0.682). In conclusion, temulawak–black cumin herbal honey can improve nutritional status and enhance adaptive immunity by increasing IgM levels, although it does not raise CD4 levels and instead slows CD4 decline. However, its effectiveness in increasing IgM and CD4 concentrations compared to controls is not significant.
