Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop Augmented Reality (AR) learning media for the Solar System tailored for SMP/MTs students, ensuring that it is valid, practical, and effective. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, utilizing the 4-D development model, which consists of the stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, due to time and cost constraints, this research was conducted only up to the development stage.The findings indicate that the Augmented Reality learning media developed is highly valid, achieving a validity score of 93.5%. In terms of practicality, the student response questionnaire results demonstrate that the media is very practical, with a score of 91.8%. These results suggest that the Augmented Reality Solar System learning media for SMP/MTs is suitable for use as an effective learning resource in schools at the SMP/MTs level

Abstract

Fokus pendampingan yang dilakukan yaitu pada strategi menulis artikel ilmiah sesuai dengan standar jurnal ilmiah dan memberikan informasi mengenai jurnal-jurnal yang dapat diakses, baik untuk rujukan (referensi) dan/atau untuk diajukan artikel ilmiah agar dimuat di jurnal serta memberikan informasi mengenai cara mensitasi tulisan menggunakan reference manager seperti aplikasi Mendeley. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh dosen Konsorsium Keilmuan Fisika UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar terhadap guru-guru SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu 1) Tahap Persiapan berupa pengumpulan bahan/materi kegiatan dan penyiapan materi pengabdian. Pengumpulan bahan/materi kegiatan pegabdian dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis tentang masalah yang atau kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru di SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan melakukan diskusi/wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum dan guru di sekolah serta juga dilakukan penyebaran angket kebutuhan pendampingan kepada guru-guru. Tahap berikutnya yaitu dilakukan pengumpulan materi-materi yang dibutuhkan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian. 2) Tahap Pelakanaan berupa kegiatan turun ke lokasi binaan selama lima hari di SMP Islam Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh. Kegiatan berupa pemberin materi dan praktek. 3) Tahap akhir evaluasi kegiatan dan dituangkan berupa penulisan laporan PKM dan dihasilkan artikel PKM yang terbit di Jurnal. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan adalah: 1) Kegiatan PkM terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar. 2) Kegiatan PkM sangat menarik dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh guru. Guru-guru berharap mendapatkan kegiatan pendampingan lainya untuk dengan materi lain dan waktu yang lebih lama

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat khususnya pada siswa sekolah dasar dalam rangka mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan akibat sampah organik berupa limbah kulit bawang. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini terdiri dari 2 bagian, yaitu indoor dan outdoor. Dalam indoor diberikan materi mengenai jenis-jenis sampah dan cara pengolahan sampah melalui pendekatan 3R (reduce, rause, recycle). Sedangkan, outdoor dengan cara membuat pupuk organik cair dari kulit bawang (Allium cepa). Sehingga, siswa-siswi sekolah dasar dapat memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan cara membuat pupuk organik cair dari limbah organik kulit bawang merah dan kulit bawang putih (Allium cepa). Hasil kegiatan juga berupa antusiasme dan semangat siswa-siswi yang mengikuti kegiatan sosialisasi sebanyak 24 orang menunjukkan ketertarikan dalan praktek pembuatan pupuk organik cair dari limbah.

Abstract

Keterbatasan alat praktikum pada materi induksi elektromagnetik dapat mengurangi minat siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika. Siswa cenderung lebih mudah memahami konsep melalui praktikum dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa praktikum. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan set mini Tesla Coil sebagai alat praktikum yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket validasi yang diisi oleh dua dosen dan satu pendidik, serta angket respon yang diisi oleh dua pendidik dan 22 peserta didik. Set mini Tesla Coil yang dikembangkan menggunakan prinsip transformator dengan lilitan primer dan sekunder serta High Voltage Generator untuk mengubah arus dan menaikkan tegangan, sehingga dapat mentransfer energi tanpa kabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan alat praktikum ini memiliki validitas 86% (sangat valid), respons pendidik 87,5% (sangat praktis), dan respons peserta didik 84,1% (sangat praktis). Nilai n-gain sebesar 0,59 menunjukkan kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, alat praktikum set mini Tesla Coil ini terbukti praktis, efektif, dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a practicum tool for Regular Straight Motion (RSM) based on the Phyphox application as an innovation in physics learning that is more interactive and accurate. The research method uses an experimental approach, where the Phyphox application is utilized to record time and distance data automatically, replacing manual methods that often face accuracy problems due to human error. The research successfully demonstrated that the use of the Phyphox application can increase measurement accuracy to 95% and reduce the human error rate by 30%. It also enables real-time data visualization, which not only facilitates the analysis of relationships between variables but also helps students better understand physics concepts. In addition, the app enriches students' learning experience by increasing their motivation and engagement, and supports the mastery of 21st century skills such as data analysis and use of technology. The development of Phyphox-based tools is expected to be a strategic step to modernize physics learning, prepare students to face global challenges, and make a real contribution in improving the quality of physics education in the digital era. This shows that technology has great potential in transforming education, especially in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Things that lecturers must prepare for evaluating learning in lectures are RPS, teaching materials and assessment instruments. Lectures really need teaching materials that can support the lecture process. In accordance with current technological developments, electronic modules are needed that are in accordance with the independent curriculum. In addition, to instill religious values in students, the modules developed need to be integrated with Islamic science values. The aim of this research is to analyze the need for learning evaluation course emodules according to the independent curriculum integrating Islamic values of science. This research was conducted by conducting a literature study, interviews with lecturers in charge of the Learning Evaluation course, and distributing questionnaires regarding the need for teaching materials for the Learning Evaluation course. As a result, lecturers have made RPS and used media in learning, but have not included the independent curriculum as the newest curriculum. Apart from that, media that is more interesting for students is in the form of e-modules which contain material equipped with videos and attractive displays. In accordance with the West Sumatra government's policy regarding guidelines for religious values, because the majority of the population is Muslim, it is certainly necessary to include Islamic values in the electronic module. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a Learning Evaluation course emodule according to the independent curriculum that integrates Islamic values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of guided inquiry learning model on students' science process skills on work and energy. The type of research is Quasi Experimental research and the research design used is Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sample consists of 2 classes, the experimental class is class VIII 1 and the control class is class VIII 2 consisting of 37 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used in the study was a final test of 20 questions. The results of the science process skills data analysis showed an average score of science process skills test of 70.43%, while students in the control class obtained an average score of science process skills test of 60.53%. The results of the data test were analyzed using the t-test formula, which showed that t (count) > t (table) was 2.98 > 2.02. This shows that the use of guided inquiry learning model on work and energy material has an effect on the science process skills of class VIII students at MTsS Balimbing.
