Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keaktifan berorganisasi terhadap kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Tanjungpura (UNTAN) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode survei. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan jenis non-probability dengan teknik accidental sampling, di mana kuesioner dibagikan kepada 170 responden melalui WhatsApp oleh masing-masing ketua Himpunan Mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan berorganisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa FISIP UNTAN, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 dan nilai t-hitung 9,515 > t-tabel 1,974. Selain itu, variabel keaktifan berorganisasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 35% terhadap peningkatan kemampuan public speaking, sedangkan 65% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Secara keseluruhan, hasil analisis mendukung hipotesis yang diajukan.

Abstract

Women are expected to behave according to the gender roles that have been determined by culture. These gender roles give rise to generalizations about the characteristics that women should and should not possess. This, in turn, affects the life satisfaction of women. This study aims to determine the influence of gender stereotyping on the life satisfaction of non-income-earning women. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection was carried out using two scales: the gender stereotyping scale and the life satisfaction scale. The sample in this study consisted of 68 non-income-earning women, aged 18 to 25 years, residing in Makassar City. The results of the hypothesis test using Spearman’s rho indicate an influence of the agency dimension on the life satisfaction of non-income-earning women, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, there was no significant influence of the communality dimension on the life satisfaction of non income-earning women, with a significance value of 0,189 > 0,05. The implications of this research provide an understanding of the importance of gender stereotyping, particularly in relation to agency, as one of the factors influencing life satisfaction, especially for women without income.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sekolah Kebangsaan merupakan program pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan kesadaran demokrasi mahasiswa melalui keterlibatan aktif dalam isu-isu kebangsaan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris STAIN Majene sebagai bagian dari mata kuliah Digital Literacy yang diprogram oleh mahasiswa semester 3 angkatan 2022. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyampaian materi oleh Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kabupaten Majene terkait tahapan pemilihan umum dan dinamika hoaks menjelang pemilu. Untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman peserta, panitia mengadakan kuis interaktif. Peserta dibagi menjadi 10 kelompok untuk mengikuti diskusi dan microteaching yang dipandu oleh fasilitator. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 127 peserta, terdiri dari 42 mahasiswa Tadris Bahasa Inggris, 35 Pendidikan Agama Islam, 23 Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, dan 27 Bimbingan Konseling Pendidikan Islam. Setiap kelompok menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dalam memahami isu hoaks dan peran mereka sebagai pemilih cerdas. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan berbagai pertanyaan dan jawaban kritis yang diajukan oleh mahasiswa. Diskusi kelompok mendorong pemikiran kritis, sedangkan sesi microteaching memperkuat kemampuan menyampaikan kembali materi. Kegiatan ini memperlihatkan keterkaitan antara teori literasi digital dan praktik pemberdayaan mahasiswa melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif. Temuan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelibatan mahasiswa lintas prodi dapat memperkuat pemahaman kolektif tentang literasi informasi dan membangun kesadaran kebangsaan. Kegiatan ini menjadi bukti bahwa pendidikan berbasis proyek mampu menciptakan ruang belajar yang bermakna dan relevan dengan konteks sosial. Kata kunci: Sekolah Kebangsaan, Literasi Digital, Hoaks.

Abstract

In the rapidly developing digital era, social media has become a highly effective communication tool for various organizations, including government institutions. This study aims to analyze the digital public relations (PR) strategies of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) in utilizing social media, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness and challenges faced. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through content analysis of Kemensos' social media, in-depth interviews with Kemensos officials and digital communication experts, and online surveys of the public to evaluate their perceptions and engagement with Kemensos' social media content. The results show that Kemensos implements various digital PR strategies to increase public awareness and participation in social programs. The published content includes information on social programs, education, and important announcements, presented in various formats such as text, images, and videos. However, Kemensos faces several challenges, such as crisis management and reputation management on social media.This study finds that Kemensos' use of social media significantly influences the public's image and trust in the institution. The level of public engagement with Kemensos' content is also quite high, indicating the effectiveness of the implemented digital communication strategies. However, there is a need to improve responsiveness and crisis management in dealing with issues that arise on social media. Based on these findings, this study provides practical recommendations for Kemensos to enhance their digital PR strategies, including improving content quality, better crisis management, and increasing public engagement. This research also contributes to the development of digital public relations strategies in other government institutions, providing insights for academics and communication practitioners.

Abstract

The wedding service industry faces major challenges in maintaining its reputation in the digital era, especially in the midst of a crisis that can affect consumer trust. This study discusses the crisis communication strategies implemented by wedding service providers in utilizing digital innovation to mitigate negative impacts and restore public trust. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study analysis on several wedding service providers who have successfully handled the crisis through the use of digital platforms such as social media, wedding applications, and technology-based customer management systems. The results of the study indicate that the success of the crisis communication strategy is greatly influenced by the speed of response, transparency, and the ability to adapt to technological changes. This article provides insights for industry players to integrate digital innovation in crisis management, as well as build a sustainable brand reputation amidst increasingly fierce competition.
