Abstract

Ketika kita merancang suatu eksperimen, dibutuhkan suatu perencanaan yang baik agar hasil eksperimen dapat valid, efisien, dan secara statistikal dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dengan baik. Salah satu konsep kajian yang sangat banyak digunakan dan dikembangkan di dalam eksperimen adalah Design of Experiment (DoE). Di dalam DoE terdapat serangkaian tahapan/prosedur yang harus dilaksanakan sebelum peneliti melakukan suatu eksperimen. Konsep DoE pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Sir Ronald A. Fisher pada tahun 1930. Sampai saat ini telah banyak teknik-teknik DoE yang berkembang dan digunakan untuk memecahkan berbagai macam persoalan di berbagai bidang. Artikel ini menghasilkan telaah kajian DoE mulai dari konsep, latar belakang kemunculan, dan isu-isu terkait penggunaan DoE serta literature review tentang perkembangan konsep, teknik, dan contoh penggunaan DoE selama tiga tahun terakhir.

Abstract

The cover on the wheel hub serves to protect the most important components and support the weight coming from the body, so it must be designed as well as possible to support the existing weight. The cover on the wheel hub also functions as a balance when driving so that the cover is made with strong material and is not easy to corrode because the part is often subjected to mechanical pressures. The problems that occur in the Nusantara Energy Manufacturing company (MEN) make researchers want to develop a cover design on a single shaft wheel hub to increase the strength of the cover in receiving pressure from vehicles, drivers, and passengers. In this research, a simulation study is carried out to design the cover and perform static simulations to determine the value of deformation and stress that occurs in the single shaft wheel hub cover. The material used in the cover design is Aluminum Alloy 6061 with a load value of 2177 N and 2912 N. The maximum deformation value on the MEN cover is 0.272 mm, a strain value of 0.007, and a stress value of 730.805 N/m2 with a load of 2177 N. At 2912 N loading, the maximum deformation value is 0.111 mm, a strain value of 0.003, and a stress of 307.538 N/m2. It can be concluded that the MEN cover has a higher static value than the YMMotorcover. There are several factors such as the thickness of the cover on the parts used as supportpoints.

Abstract

SME’s Pancong Pocong Ketintang, an SME’s in Surabaya, is currently facing problems with its products and packaging. Packaging is often not tight and breaks easily, causing the topping to overflow and the packaging to become dirty. To reduce packaging defects, the Six Sigma method with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach is used. This method is effective in reducing defects and improving quality. The result of this research is that the researcher defines the types of defects that exist and determines critical to quality. In the measurement stage, the average DPMO value is 157,088, which means it has a sigma level of 2.51. At the analyze stage, the results obtained from the Pareto diagram showed that the most dominant type of defect was overflowing packaging, amounting to 48%. In the improvement stage, improvements are made using the kaizen five m checklist tool which consists of man, material, method and environment. The final stage, the improvement control provided can be implemented on an ongoing basis by implementing operational standards.

Abstract

ITTelkom Surabaya is a campus that was established in 2018. The increasing number of students can affect the quality of parking lots that can be accommodated. Based on data on parking attendants' quality and service satisfaction, students feel dissatisfied due to the many shortcomings in the facilities and quality of service in parking at ITTelkom Surabaya. This study aims to measure service quality and analyze which factors affect customer satisfaction with the parking system at ITTelkom Surabaya. This research is conducted using quantitative analysis with the Servqual method. Questionnaire forms were distributed to parking lot users in data collection, and the data were collected from students. The existence of this research can be used as an evaluation material to develop the satisfaction of the parking system as measured. The results showed that measuring the service quality of the vehicle parking system at ITTelkom Surabaya still needs improvement. The gap value in some statement attributes shows that the parking system's customer service quality still needs to meet expectations. Then, the factors that impact customer satisfaction with the parking system at ITTelkom Surabaya are the variables X1 (Tangible) and X3 (Responsiveness). Both variables have a low significance T-test value, so there needs attention to improving and evaluating the parking system at ITTelkom Surabaya to fulfill customer wants and needs.

Abstract

Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, PT Sierad Produce, Tbk sebagai salah satu industri pakan ternak, telah menerapkan transformasi bisnis ke segmen produk makanan olahan daging ayam. Untuk ke depannya, langkah strategis ini diharapkan dapat membuka peluang bisnis yang lebih luas sehingga dapat memberikan konstribusi yang signifikan bagi pertumbuhan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Didasari hal tersebut, maka dilakukan analisa manajemen strategi dengan Metode QSPM dengan mempertimbangkan analisa faktor internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Dari analisa tersebut dihasilkan bahwa strategi membuka pola kemitraan di Kalimantan dan Sulawesi merupakan strategi yang ideal untuk dilakukan. Strategi ini sangat potensial untuk dilakukan selain didukung oleh kondisi internal dan eksternal perusahaan, namun juga karena kompetitor yang sudah masuk ke sana masih pada tahap awal. SDM perusahaan yang besar jumlahnya juga dinilai memadai untuk melakukan ekspansi usaha. Untuk menyukseskan strategi ini, perusahaan juga harus menentukan berbagai variabel yang nantinya akan mempengaruhi implementasi strategi tersebut dalam perusahaannya.
