Penguasaan data sains menjadi keterampilan yang semakin dibutuhkan di era digital, termasuk bagi lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) pada bidang Teknologi Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) serta Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL). Namun, pembelajaran mengenai analisis data di tingkat SMK masih terbatas, sehingga siswa kurang memahami bagaimana data dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidangnya. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar data sains kepada siswa SMK Nurul Amalia Tanjung Morawa melalui pelatihan berbasis praktik. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa tahap, mulai dari penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah pendekatan teoritis dan hands-on learning melalui studi kasus yang relevan dengan dunia industri. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar data sains serta keterampilan mereka dalam melakukan analisis data sederhana. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi untuk mendalami lebih lanjut bidang ini. Dari hasil kegiatan ini, disarankan agar materi data sains diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum SMK serta dilakukan pelatihan lanjutan untuk memperdalam keterampilan siswa dalam analisis data dan implementasi teknologinya. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan industri dapat menjadi langkah strategis untuk memperkuat kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja berbasis data.

Computer network infrastructure located in a certain area is inseparable from possible disasters such as natural disasters caused by geological and demographic factors, fire - be it environmental factors or human error, or attacks on systems such as viruses or worms. Therefore, in building a network infrastructure we also need a network backup plan and recovery in the event of a disaster on the network infrastructure that supports the delivery of information. The backup network infrastructure must be in a different location with the main network infrastructure to anticipate major disasters. This research will implement the Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), which is designed to support irregular IP traffic failures under certain circumstances. The purpose of this research is to implement Disaster Recovery Plans on technology related to network recovery, Provide recommendations for Disaster Recovery Institutions. The softaware used is GNS3. The Indonesian government through the Smart Indonesia Program provides cash assistance through the Smart Indonesia Card. The problem that occurs is that the selection process for KIP assistance recipients has not gone through the right procedure, resulting in social jealousy among students who should not be eligible to receive assistance but receive the KIP assistance funds. This is because some students have relatives from school officials so that student data can be manipulated. Therefore, a decision support system is needed that is able to select the eligibility of students receiving KIP funds quickly and accurately by using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method. The Preference Selection Index (PSI) method which in line performs calculations on the matrix multiplication between criteria that have a weighted value of each alternative so as to produce a PSI value which will be the final result in determining the eligibility of students to receive KIP assistance funds. The resulting impact is the selection of students who really have the eligibility requirements to get KIP funding assistance.

Throught science and technology (Science and technology) that us increasingly developing now a days, more and more using human technology. With the technology it can help humans in every day life. But in technology area, there all stull system that use manual methods such as parking. The impact of indiscriminate parking casuses quite severe congestion, not to mention the illegal parking fees quoted in the name of government based on the problems outlined, as solution is found to find the existence og indiscrimimate parking. That way conducted research on “Multilevel parking based on Mikrocoontroller”. Mulitilevel can be interpreted with multilevel or tierd sentences. The parking lot does not move because the vehicle is being moved by driver. Microcontroler has a system that is intended to recive input from what has been made and made to be an input.

brought in significant revenue for traders and tourism operators in Berastagi. Unfortunately,many visitors often get lost on their way to their destinations, highlighting the need forinformation regarding public transportation in Berastagi. This research aims to design a websitethat provides information about public transportation, route options, and applicable fare rates.The goal is to ensure that visitors to Berastagi can explore the city's attractions with ease andconfidence. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach were employed for thisstudy. Interviews were conducted with station personnel from various public transportationproviders using purposive sampling techniques. The research resulted in a user-friendly websitethat assists users in finding transportation options that meet their needs. Station personnel citedthe lack of inquiries from visitors and the absence of clear information on public transportationroutes as reasons for visitors choosing the wrong mode of transportation. In conclusion, thisresearch has developed a comprehensive web application that offers information on variouspublic transportation choices based on users' destinations when visiting Berastagi. Based on the survey questionnaire conducted by the author with 15 users of the website that has been created,it is concluded that satisfaction in using the website according to its function reaches 90%, whichis stated as excellent.

Perguruan tinggi merupakan satuan penyelenggara pendidikan tinggi sebagai tingkat lanjut jenjang pendidikan menengah di jalur pendidikan formal. Aspek prestasi belajar merupakan salah satu aspek penilaian keberhasilan perguruan tinggi dalam proses belajar. Dalam makalah ini menyajikan hasil analisis hubungan antara pembelajaran dengan prestasi mahasiswa dimana tahapan yang dilakukan menggunakan pendetakan data science. Berdasarkan Analisis data terdapat tiga indikator penting dalam penilaian prestasi belajar yaitu pedagogi, profesional dan kepribadian. Ketiga fitur digunakan sebagai variabel dependen untuk memprediksi prestasi belajar dimana algoritma DecisionTree menghasilkan akurasi lebih baik dari pada model k-nearest neighbors (KNN), Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Naive Bayes dan dengan tingkat akurasi 68%, kemudian KNN dengan akurasi 66% dan lainnya sebesar 55% pada masing-masing algoritma yang diusulkan.

Pemahaman tentang sistem informasi merupakan kompetensi dasar yang penting bagi lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK), khususnya pada bidang Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) serta Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL). Namun, materi mengenai sistem informasi secara konseptual dan aplikatif masih belum banyak dijumpai dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di tingkat SMK. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar sistem informasi kepada siswa SMK Nurul Amalia Tanjung Morawa melalui pendekatan edukatif dan interaktif. Kegiatan ini melibatkan beberapa tahap, mulai dari koordinasi dengan sekolah, penyusunan materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, hingga evaluasi sederhana. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan memadukan penyampaian teoritis, pemutaran video edukatif, diskusi kelompok, serta simulasi alur kerja sistem informasi yang relevan dengan lingkungan sekolah dan dunia kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dan penerapan sistem informasi, serta menumbuhkan minat mereka terhadap profesi di bidang teknologi informasi. Siswa juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam sesi interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil ini, disarankan agar topik sistem informasi diperkenalkan secara lebih terstruktur dalam pembelajaran vokasional serta diikuti dengan kegiatan lanjutan yang mendorong pengembangan keterampilan aplikatif di bidang tersebut.

Digital file security plays a crucial role in the modern era of rapid information exchange and growing data threats. This study presents the development of a desktop-based file security system that utilizes a random key matrix approach for secure encryption and decryption. The core innovation lies in the validation of randomly generated key matrices to ensure they possess a valid inverse under modulo 256 arithmetic. This validation is critical, as it guarantees that encrypted data can be accurately decrypted using the same key. The system converts digital files into binary blocks, which are then encrypted through matrix multiplication with the validated key. Comprehensive testing was carried out using various file types and sizes to evaluate the system’s robustness, performance, and reliability. The results demonstrate that the application provides an effective method for safeguarding digital files, with improved security due to the randomness and strength of the key generation process. This research contributes significantly to the ongoing advancement of cryptography-based solutions for file protection in desktop environments.

Kompresi citra dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan color quantization di mana dengan mengurangi jumlah warna yang terdapat pada citra maka akan dapat mengurangi jumlah bit yang digunakan untuk merepresentasikan warna – warna tersebut. Semakin rendah jumlah warna yang dikurangi dalam rangka mencapai rasio kompresi yang optimal berdampak pada terdegradasinya kualitas dari citra. Secara umum color quantization menggunakan model clustering dalam proses pembentukan color palette yang akan digunakan sebagai referensi pada saat kuantisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model clustering berdasarkan nilai max variance pada channel RGB secara terpisah. Proses clustering dilakukan dengan membelah populasi cluster sebelumnya menggunakan nilai mean dari channel RGB yang memiliki nilai variance tertinggi. Color palette kemudian dibentuk menggunakan centroid hasil dari proses clustering. Percobaan pada beberapa citra uji dengan format 32bpp yang kemudian dikompresi menggunakan kuantisasi warna pada format 8bpp dan 4bpp memberikan kualitas dan rasio kompresi yang cukup baik yang diukur menggunakan ukuran MSE, PSNR dan CR di mana nilai MSE yang diperoleh berkisar 3.87 sampai 6.3 pada kuantisasi 8bpp dan 13.39 sampai 19.62 pada kuantisasi 4bpp. Sedangkan rasio kompresi yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 1.44 sampai 2.09 pada kuantisasi 8bpp dan 2.87 sampai 4.23 pada kuantisasi 4bpp. AbstractImage compression can be done by using color quantization where by reducing the number of colors contained in the image it can reduce the number of bits used to represent the colors. The lower the number of colors reduced in order to achieve the optimal compression ratio has an impact on the quality of the image. In general, color quantization uses clustering models in the process of constructing color palette that will be used as a reference during quantization. This study uses a clustering model based on the max variance value on the RGB channel separately. The clustering process is done by dividing the previous cluster population using the mean value of the RGB channel which has the highest variance value. The color palette is then formed using centroids resulting from the clustering process. Experiments on some test images in 32bpp format which are then compressed using color quantization in 8bpp and 4bpp formats provide a fairly good quality and compression ratio with MSE, PSNR and CR assessment where the MSE values obtained ranged from 3.87 to 6.3 at 8bpp quantization and 13.39 to 19.62 at 4bpp quantization. While the compression ratio obtained is 1.44 to 2.09 at 8bpp quantization and 2.87 to 4.23 at 4bpp quantization
