Abstract

Learning quality can be improved by utilizing technology and digital media in teaching and learning. Based on a survey conducted in 2021 at 33 elementary schools in Madiun City, most teachers still use WhatsApp Group media in delivering material. However, schools with good technological facilities can better understand technology for teachers and students. This research is downstream from previous research that recommended the development of LMS-based e-learning in elementary schools in Madiun City. The importance of good management in documenting the teaching and learning process can be used as monitoring and evaluation material to improve the quality of learning. Data collection in this study was carried out by direct observation at SDN 01 and SDN 03 Manisrejo Madiun City, as well as surveys conducted at 33 elementary schools in the Madiun City Education Office. The results of this research are internal and external condition analysis, business process analysis, Data, and Information architecture design, application architecture design, technology architecture design, and people architecture design which can be used as Pecel-AE application development framework documents.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Sistem Informasi (TI/SI) merupakan suatu kebutuhan pokok yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh suatu organisasi. Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Sistem Informasi oleh organisasi dimaksimalkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan pada penggunanya. Universitas PGRI Madiun melaluiUPT Komputer yang bekerjasama dengan Biro Kerjasama dan Humas (BKH) melakukan kerjasama dengan beberapa SMK dibidang Praktek Kerja Industri (PRAKERIN)dengan fokus jurusan Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (RPL), Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), Multimedia dan Administrasi Perkantoran.Kegiatan PRAKERIN tersebut diharapkan dapat melatih skill bagi peserta didik SMK untuk mengasah kemampuan praktik yang diterapkan. Namun, pada kenyataannya manajemen data terkait dengan peserta PRAKERIN dan kegiatannya tersebut masih belum ada suatu sistem informasi yang mewadahi guna menunjang tata kelola data PRAKERIN tersebut, sehingga data peserta PRAKERIN beserta kegiatannya masih belum dapat diarsipkan dengan baik. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan sistem informasi PRAKERIN di UNIPMA khususnya di UPT Komputer sebagai dilaksanakannya kegiatan. Perancangan sistem informasi PRAKERIN tersebut berbasis web yang hasilnya dapat difungsikan untuk manajemen data peserta dan kegiatan PRAKERIN yang diarsipkan dalam bentuk jurnal kegiatan.

Abstract

Digital transformation is driving changes in literacy skills and technology-based information services. The Regional Archives and Library Service (ARPUS) of Magetan Regency is one government agency that has utilized technology and information in conducting business processes. The use of information technology is also implemented in several libraries within the region. This requires ARPUS to introduce digital media-based innovations in its services. One such effort is utilizing a learning platform to provide digital literacy-based learning resources. This activity is in the form of Community Service (PkM) which is carried out by mentoring librarians to utilize the e-plantasia platform as a botany learning medium. This activity is carried out using a participatory mentoring method based on training and direct practice (hands-on training) which includes needs analysis, training, practice, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results show that participants have a sufficient initial understanding of digital literacy, but do not yet fully understand the use of the e-Plantasia application. After the training, there was an increase in the average post-test score on all indicators, from the range of 60–70 to 80–86, as well as an increase in readiness for implementation in library services. Thus, mentoring activities have proven effective in improving librarians' competence in utilizing digital media as an innovation in library literacy services.
