Abstract

Pembelajaran sains sesuai hakikatnya harus meliputi proses, produk, dan sikap ilmiah. Pembelajaran mata kuliah Pendidikan Biologi di FPMIPA IKIP PGRI MADIUN memerlukan sumber/media, metode belajar yang relevan sesuai karakteristik bidang ilmu biologi. Pembuatan bahan ajar kontekstual menitikberatkan pada pengalaman mahasiswa dengan cara mengeksplorasi lingkungan riil. Wana wisata Grape memiliki tingkat biodiversitas tinggi sehingga relevan jika digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dan bahan pembuatan bahan ajar perkuliahan berbasis potensi lokal.  Penerapan green learning method merupakan sarana dari upaya untuk mengeksplorasi potensi SDA di wana wisata Grape melalui pengalaman langsung dan menumbuhkan kesadaran serta peduli terhadap lingkungan. Penerapan Green Learning Method (GeLeM) dapat dilakukan di wana wisata Grape dengan menggunakan potensi alam yang ada. Penerapan tersebut dilakukan dengan cara eksplorasi potensi alam yang relevan sebagai bahan ajar, reduksi, pembahasan dan penyusunan bahan ajar  bidang botani dan mikrobiologi berbasis potensi alam. Wana wisata Grape Madiun dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan Green Learning Method (GeLeM) dengan menggunakan potensi lokalnya yang berbasis natural resourches. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan terdapat 24  tanaman tingkat tinggi sebagai bahan ajar botani dan 3 isolat kapang uji tanah di area Wana Wisata Grape.

Abstract

Active learning using real learning environment is essential for developing a scientific attitude. Ecotourism is one of the ecosystems that can be used as a learning environment and a place to find teaching materials. Learning about zoology not be separated from the object of study of birds (Aves). Vertebrates Taxonomy learning in birds is often carried out a study object only in the classroom or laboratory. Green learning method is a learning system using natural environment directly in the learning process and the preparation of teaching materials. This research was conducted in Wana Grape, sub Wungu, Madiun. This study uses point count method. Exploration carried out by recording the observations of the object being observed, resulting in a general form of teaching materials that were analyzed descriptively. Application of green learning method makes it easy for professors to materials development courses Vertebrate taxonomy. The presence of green learning method provides real study materials from the natural surroundings by utilizing existing local potential. There are 7 species of birds that exist in ecotourism Grape. The most dominant species of birds are Emprit / Bondol Java (Lonchura leucogastroides), Erasia Church (Passer Montanus, Bar-winged prinia Java (Prinia familiaris). The most rare bird is Black Srigunting (Dicrurus macrocercus) and Cucak Kutilang (Pycnonotus aurigaster). Ecotourism Grape very relevant to learning and teaching materials manufacture taxonomy based green learning method. Keyword : exploration, bird, grape, green learning method

Abstract

Community empowerment with callina papaya cultivation is one form of utilization ground that have high economic value. Community usually only planted cassava and vegetables for daily consumption. Callina papaya is one of the crops that have high potential to sold, long harvest time, easy and simple treatment. Land use of Setono Ngrambe with Callina papaya cultivation is a creative solution for the development of natural resources and human resources to increase the income of society. This community service program carried out over 4 months including observation, training, mentoring and evaluation. Training and socialization going well and get good responses. Community enthusiastic following the training and socialization of papaya callina cultivation. In this training, community trained by team to do organic farming using cow urine fermentation. Material in this training include the introduction of papaya Callina, potential, and methods of cultivation. Government of Setono village make the Memorandum of Understanding that contains the community willingness to lend their land for planting Callina papaya in a supervision of IKIP PGRI MADIUN. Callina papaya can be excellent products and potentially make Setono Village as suppliers Callina papaya in East Java.Keywords: callina papaya, critical land, organic farming

Abstract

Kabupaten pacitan memiliki komoditas flora laut yang potensial. Salah satunya adalah E. acoroides. Pemanfaatan E. acoroides sebagai sumber bahan kimia dan obat-obatan membutuhkan pengolahan yang tepat sehingga mampu tahan dalam waktu yang lama. Salah satu proses yang biasa diberikan adalah proses pemanasan untuk memperlambat proses kimia dan biologi pada bahan, sehingga bahan menjadi tahan lama. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen.Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengambilan dan preparasi E. acoroides, pembuatan serbuk seresah E. acoroides, analisa kualitas serbuk seresah E. acoroides yang meliputi analisa kadar air, kadar abu, kadar lemak, dan kadar pati.  Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proses pengeringan dilakukan dengan 2 cara yaitu menggunakan oven dan sinar matahari. Proses pengeringan menggunakan oven yang berlangsung pada suhu yang tinggi menyebabkan terjadinya case hardening, yaitu bagian permukaan bahan pangan sudah kering sekali bahkan mengeras sedangkan bagian dalamnya masih basah. Kualitas kelayakan hasil produksi serbuk seresah lamun dengan metode pengeringan sinar matahari kadar air 14,76%, kadar abu 18,83%, kadar pati 9,88% dan kadar lemak 0,54%.  Pengeringan menggunakan oven kadar airnya 23,66%, kadar abu 19,39%, kadar pati 8,73% dan kadar lemak 0,74%.

Abstract

This research was a classroom action research which was conducted intwo cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data used was quantitative data on student observation sheet instruments. The Results of the study which were obtained from the first cycle showed about the students’ thinking skills and scientific works. They were categorized as excellent 18.18%, good 22.73%, enough 52.27%, and sufficiently less 6.82%. As for the scientific attitude with a very active category of 11.36%, 43.18% and less active 45.45%. It has not reached indicators of success, so it was necessary to cycle II. Cycle II demonstrated the excellent category 38.63%, 36.36% good, good enough18.18% and less 6.81%. While the scientific attitude in the cycle II was an active attitude 29.54%, active 54.54%, inactive 15.91%. These results show an increase from the cycle I to cycle II. The conclusion of this study were: 1) learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry in students can be conducible applied.2) Learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry can improve thinking ability and scientific work and students’ scientific attitude. 3) Learning the basic concepts of science with scientific inquiry be able to explore and develop student creativity in designing simple experiments which can be applied in primary schools.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPandemi Covid19 membawa tantangan tersendiri bagi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan perekonomian. Salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan merintis usaha kreatif. Desa Setono mempunyai dua tempat penggergajian kayu yang menghasilkan limbah bilah kayu. Potensi ini dapat digunakan sebagai rintisan industri kreatif berbasis pengolahan limbah. Tim Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa Pengabdian Masyarakat (PKM-PM) mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan wooden home decoration dari limbah kayu kepada karang taruna Desa Setono. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2021. Peserta sejumlah 10 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah partisipatif dengan pendekatan sosial masyarakat.  Hasil pelatihan menunjukan bahwa limbah penggergajian kayu dapat digunakan menjadi wooden home decoration. Produk yang dibuat  sebanyak 7 model yang bernilai jual tinggi dan tidak mengganggu lingkungan. Pemberdayaan karang taruna Desa Setono dalam membuat wooden home decoration dari limbah pengergajian kayu berjalan lancar dan kondusif. Pemahaman peserta dalam membuat wooden home decoration dari limbah penggergajian kayu meningkat sebanyak 80%. Tim PKM-PM akan terus melakukan pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi sampai bulan November 2021. Peserta berkomitmen untuk terus melanjutkan  kegiatan pembuatan wooden home decoration ini, dan mengembangan bisnis industri kreatif. Kata kunci: karang taruna; wooden home decoration; limbah kayu ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic brings its own challenges for the community in improving the economy. One effort that can be done is to start a creative business. Setono village has two sawmills that produce wood slats. It can be used as a model for creative industries based on waste processing. The PKM-PM team held training on making wooden home decorations from wood waste. This activity will be held in June 2021. There are 10 participants. The method used is participatory with a social approach. The results of the training show that sawmill waste can be used as a wooden home decoration. There are 7 models of products that have high selling value and do not disturb the environment. The empowerment of the Setono Village youth group in making wooden home decorations from sawmill waste went well and was conducive. Participants' understanding of making wooden home decorations from sawmill waste increased by 80%. The PKM-PM team will continue to provide assistance, monitoring and evaluation until November 2021. Participants are committed to continuing this wooden home decoration activity, and developing the creative industry business. Keywords: youth organization; wooden home decoration; wood waste

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe module is expressed as a complete learning resource package consisting of a series of learning processes. The module is also a source of teaching materials that make it easier for students to achieve learning goals. Research-based modules are needed to improve student learning outcomes. Research-based modules make students achieve the criteria for completeness. The type of research used is research and development (Research & Development) with the ADDIE approach model. The small-scale test subjects are fourth semester students of the Biology Education Study Program, PGRI Madiun University who have taken the Microbiology course. The instruments used are initial needs questionnaires, material and media validation questionnaires and small-scale test questionnaires for students. The percentage of results from the validation of material microbiologists is 80.5%, media expert validation is 91% and for small-scale tests 91%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mycorbiology module based on the antibacterial test of the genitry plant (Elaeocarpus sphaericus) is valid and feasible to be used as teaching material in microbiology courses.Keyword: Module, Research base, Research & Development, ADDIE

Abstract

Bunga Telang (Clitoria ternatea) adalah tanaman yang termasuk dalam famili Fabaceae dan ditemukan secara luas di seluruh dunia, terutama di daerah tropis dan subtropis. Bunga Telang banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber obat karena mengandung senyawa flavonoid yang memiliki sifat anti-oksidan, anti-inflamatori, dan anti-kanker. Teh bunga telang saat ini banyak diminati oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat, sehingga dapat menjadi peluang ide bisnis bagi para pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat di Desa Kerik, utamanya ibu-ibu PKK, belum banyak mendapatkan pelatihan kewirausahaan mengenai pembuatan produk teh telang. Tujuan dari pelatihan progam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan cara mengolah bunga telang untuk dijadikan teh yang baik bagi kesehatan dan meningkatkan keterampilan berwirausaha masyarakat Desa Kerik dalam membuat produk teh telang. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 20 peserta, menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki persepsi yang positif terhadap materi pelatihan yang memperluas wawasan dan keterampilan. Tingkat pemahaman sangat baik sejumlah 50%, baik 45%, cukup baik 5% dan tidak baik 0%. Secara umum hasil pemahaman menunjukkan bahwa peserta memahami cara pembuatan produk teh telang. Pelatihan pembuatan produk teh telang ini dapat mendukung ibu-ibu PKK dalam menambah wawasan dan juga keterampilan berwirausaha yang dapat menghasilkan nilai ekonomi.
