Abstract

PT PLN Batam as Pemegang Izin Usaha Ketenagalistrikan Untuk Umum (PIUKU) with a working area of ​​Batam, Rempang and Galang, always committed to providing the best service to customers by continuing to provide electricity and keandalanya an ongoing effort by PT PLN Batam. This paper aims to conduct an analysis of the quality of services, which is expected to facilitate the operations of customer service by PT PLN Batam especially the service. Tool or measuring devices used is data mining by applying Naive Bayes. Results are expected later dimensions of customer satisfaction is fulfilled by the management of PT PLN Batam especially in the customer service, the customer service process is expected to take place either because any customer complaints can be managed as well as quickly and accurately anticipated. When viewed from the standpoint of management, to do a study or a special study of the trends-trends that occur on existing customer data. So that the management is always ready with the turmoil. The ultimate goal will change towards the better of the management of PT PLN Batam in the service process.

Abstract

Nowadays, Short message services (SMS) is a popular public service which is offered by the provider of mobile phone. SMS is used as a tool of communication for users, even more, it is frequently used to promote the products of company, send information/ messages to partners and friends. This research is conducted in PT Istana Kencana Motor which is used to find out the influences between SMS toward the costumers’ purchasing interest. It is interesting and need to be explored in considering the use of mobile phone, the providers who offers some facilities to the costumers, and the need of economical transportation, in this case, motorcycle. The sample of the research is the costumers of PT Istana Kencana Motor. The technique of data analysis was using SPSS. The result of the research is hoped to be useful for PT Istana Kencana Motor in considering better decisions in finding out the costumers’ demanding and complaining.

Abstract

Long term investment in information technology systems leads to the cost advantage of low-cost leadership. Providing online customer service makes the company's operations become easier and efficient and one form of online services is web-based system. Trouble Ticketing System is a web-based system that is commonly used in dealing with any customer complaints against interruption or the decrease of quality of the internet perceived. In addition, this system can also handle upgrade or downgrade requests, mutation of the customer and receive customer complaints report through e-mail, telephone and client applications on the system. In this case, a support/csc plays an important role in controlling every activity on the system. The main task of this support/csc is to create trouble ticket or any other requests ticket, completing the task to the first level corresponding to the SOP and run interference escalation to a higher level, until the trouble ticket is completely processed. For those who work in the network field or network administrator, Trouble Ticketing System is an application that is also called a trouble report, a mechanism used by a company or organization to track or to detect report and resolution of various types of problems. Trouble Ticketing System contains complaints and requests for support/hepdesk, and is equipped with ticket escalation feature to the company management. By this, any form of customers complaints and request can be responded quickly and in turn will facilitate the management internal policy or decision-making.

Abstract

Decision-making will surely experienced any person anytime and anywhere, problems will arise if the decision requires some consideration because if it is not taken into account and considered it well then it will impact to the final result is bad and risky. The discussion in this study relates to the decision-making process is the decision to purchase a laptop using Borda function. Borda function known as a weighting (similar to AHP) using preference data or rank the importance of attributes (variables) to be weighted. The attributes are taken is a matter of major components, size, price, touchpad, battery, brand and operating system of a laptop. Of 7 essential attributes of a laptop will be generated each 6 preferences, so the total will be produced 42 preferences that may arise and continue to make a list of results in the form of the preference and the last was made pairwise matrix in the form of a recapitulation before drawing conclusions. Inference process itself will be done by counting the number of lines and weights that have been obtained. The highest number (the highest percentage) is the best decision to be taken as a solution. This solution will be used to help students and SMAN 5 Plot Batu Aji Lama particular grade 3 in buying a laptop.

Abstract

Websites began to be known in Indonesia around 1998, in which only large companies can afford to have it. At that time, the website is a technology that is quite expensive to own. So many entrepreneurs and manufacturers discourage them to be able to have this media campaign. The steps of making a web services provider that offers low prices make these companies desire to have a cheap website just be a dream. That was then, now there are virtually billions of web pages that enliven the virtual world. Most of these are commercial web site that is business and commerce. Apparently the media campaign in the form of a website is very important in the business world. The proof lately many large and small businesses have used the website as a medium of promotion in marketing products or services. Websites that not only functions as a promotional tool but also as an effort to increase the prestige (prestige) of a company has made ​​a lot of bold entrepreneurs to pay high enough to have this online media. Often we ask questions when we attended seminars that discuss about the website, "Why have a website? Though a company would have been nice about her products mepunyai brochures or marketing experience in marketing". This question is very good, but we all know that the website can be accessed from all over the world so it can be viewed by potential customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it's certainly not going to be possible with marketing brochures and no matter how great, because there is no marketing who can distribute flyers throughout the country or no marketing is able to work 24 hours a day and 365 a year. But through a website product a company will be seen by hundreds of millions of people online every day to use email, chat, search for information, buy products in online stores, even mere entertainment. The majority of Internet users (young people and businessmen) would expect a company to have a website. It is now common people say, "Good product, want to see on the internet." or "what company it is, the website address where?. Website accessed much more quickly, more easily understood and effective in terms of cost when compared to other media. Via a website we can put articles, pictures, or any sort of detailed product information and even online stores online map that can guide us to our own office (with the help of Google Map example). websites can be an important part of company's promotional and marketing strategies. Creation website marketing needs to be a serious agenda. More than that can increase the reliability of the company's website.

Abstract

The process of purchasing a laptop is not difficult enough to provide some money and go ketoko who sell it and buy a laptop. But there is a more difficult is to determine which laptop will be purchased in accordance with daily needs that is difficult, there are four major variables studied in the process of purchasing laptops in this journal is the processor, memory (RAM), hard drive and price. Researchers want to know by processing the data using software WEKA (Algortima C, 45) Which will be the main choice of buyers in buying a laptop which means it will be known which will be a top priority buyers in buying a laptop with the object is a student of SMK Batam city who has bought a laptop . From here it can be concluded later whether the buyer prefer the processor than the RAM, hard drive or price or other patterns will appear like RAM, processor, hard drive and the price or other patterns that can not be reviewed because all assumptions may appear depending on the data obtained. So please note that the conclusions are taken is not the most correct answer but based on the development of data obtained from students SMK processed using Software WEKA.

Abstract

When faced with a decision to determine one choice it is sometimes a very difficult thing, this can occur due to lack of knowledge and supporting data that exists. Supporting data is usually not too difficult to find because it can be taken from our own environment or on our own, because without realizing it around us it is basically a very large and large collection of data but sometimes it is not utilized because it cannot use it. For example, this can be seen in the Batam Saddhana Legenda Building Shop, in principle, the building store is the same as the other building shops. But the problem arising from shop owners was when determining the purchase of cement as the main ingredient in building construction. If you prioritize closeness or good relations with sponsors and sponsors' contributions to the store, the shop owner will not be difficult to determine which supplier to contact, but because you have to learn the tendency of the buyer which brand they prefer, the problem will be complicated. Because the shop owner must order products that are tailored to consumer demand, if this is not done then what will happen to the existing customers will be disappointed because the product they want does not exist, even the shop owner must put stock for a long time that can harm the shop owner own. By applying the data mining classification technique to effective cement purchases at the Saddhana Shop, it is hoped that later it can produce a knowledge that can be used for decision making in effective cement purchases from suppliers.

Abstract

The assessment of student learning outcomes is a mandatory process in educational institutions, whether they are formal or non-formal, with the aim of monitoring and evaluating student progress during the learning process. With the advancement of technology, there are many processes that can be integrated with information technology to simplify existing procedures. The purpose of this research is to facilitate schools in making decisions regarding the results of the learning assessment process by using predefined attributes. The attributes used as reference for consideration are assignments, mid-term exams (UTS), and final exams (UAS). Therefore, this study is built using the SAW method and the PHP programming language supported by the Laravel framework. The output of this research is an information system that supports decision-making in assessing student learning outcomes in the form of subject rankings and provides transparency and convenience for students to access their grades or the final results of the student learning assessment process.

Abstract

In general, education in Indonesia is one of the most important aspects in the development of society and the state. As educators in elementary schools, they will carry out their duties well if they understand the concept of education in elementary schools. By understanding the factors that influence student achievement, it can improve the quality of education and provide a better understanding of the factors that influence student achievement. These factors include report card grades, attendance, family support, interest in learning, and motivation to learn. These factors ensure that students achieve their goals and provide a better opportunity to improve their academic performance in primary school. For Dhamma Sasana Elementary School In predicting student achievement, there are many obstacles or problems that must be faced by schools in predicting student achievement, many comparisons of variables and factors to be tested and decision making on the achievement of elementary school students. This research applies the C4.5 algorithm method used to predict student achievement at Dhamma Sasana Elementary School. The C4.5 algorithm is one of the data analysis tools that is able to identify the variables that have the most influence on student achievement. Conclusions include manual calculations, a decision tree, and testing conducted with data mining techniques and classification results that were 99.0% correct, including the C4.5 algorithm and testing conducted with the WEKA software application version 3.9.6.

Abstract

The term customer satisfaction refers to a situation when customers realize their needs and desires are met or are not met as expected.. Customers are generally satisfied with their experiences. Customer satisfaction determines whether they continue to use the service, while customer dissatisfaction leads to them stopping using it. The result will be the loss of customers for business actors. Developing strategies to improve the satisfaction of customers is one of the most important tasks for business actors. Essentially, C4.5 is a decision tree algorithm that functions in the form of a structured data collection program coded in such a way that it can be used to collect data that has changed and to turn it into a decision tree that consists of a decision rule so that the results of the data can be used to help make a decision. Based on the findings of the research, it appears the factors that are influencing Edukits Batam Center customer satisfaction the most are price, the accessibility of the location, and the quality of the products.
