Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yaitu media Audio Visual berupa video. Media Audio Visual adalah suatu rangkaian gambar elektronis yang disertai oleh unsur suara (audio) maupun unsur gambar (visual) yang saling bersatu membentuk sebuah pesan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan One Grup Pretest-Postest Desain dengan populasinya seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA N 3 Langsa sebanyak 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis berbentuk uraian terdiri dari 5 butir soalyang telah divalidasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. berdasarkan hasil analaisi data yang diperoleh = 24,57 dan  = 1,69 sehingga  maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak pada taraf signifikan . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ?terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah menggunakan media audio visual?. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual ini bahwa mereka suka mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunkan media berupa video sehingga lebih mudah memahami materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di IAIN Langsa dengan melibatkan 84 dosen yang sedang aktif mengajar pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 dan semua dosen ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian. Variable dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja dosen. Instrumen penelitian terlebih dahulu diuji coba, yaitu untuk menguji validitas dengan korelasi Product Moment dan untuk menguji reliabilitasnya dengan Formula Alpha dari Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dalam dua tahap yakni secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Uji persyaratan analisis mencakup uji normalitas dan uji linearitas regresi. Uji normalitas data setiap variable menggunakan One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnof Test. Uji kelinearan regresi antar variable dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistic F test. Sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis jalur (path Analysis). Hasil Penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja dosen IAIN Zawiyah Cot Kala Langsa, dan (2) terdapat Pengaruh signifikan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Untuk itu, pimpinan IAIN Langsa perlu mengevaluasi bagaimana komitmen yang dibangun pada lembaga dan bagaimana pula upaya yang harus dilakukan agar kepuasan kerja dosen dapat dirasakan.

Abstract

This research addresses the lack of student enthusiasm for mathematics and the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim regarding cubes and rectangular prisms. To tackle this issue, the Van Hiele theory is applied, which includes five stages of learning: information, orientation, and explicitness. The study investigates how a learning model based on the Van Hiele theory affects the students' understanding of these concepts. Conducted as classroom action research (CAR) in 2 cycles, the study involved 27 students of class 4B at SDIT Lukmanul Hakim. Data were collected through observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. Results showed that in Cycle I, only 62.96% of students achieved the competency indicators due to challenges in motivation and enthusiasm. However, in Cycle II, 85% of students achieved learning mastery. Thus, the application of the Van Hiele theory positively influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of a user satisfaction survey on the integrity performance of IAIN Langsa graduates who work in government or private agencies, institutions, and organizations in Aceh Province. Performance with integrity is measured by the ability of graduates, which includes several aspects, namely discipline, honesty, work motivation, morality, and social skills. Performance with integrity is calculated using a survey questionnaire instrument tested for validity and reliability and distributed to IAIN Langsa graduates in Aceh Province users. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive statistical test techniques, The users responded to all aspects measured by the integrity performance at the level of the category of satisfied and very disgusting. The research concluded that IAIN Langsa graduates have been able to produce performance with integrity which users rate as comfortable and very satisfying with an average percentage of 85%

Abstract

For students to be able to think critically and cognitively, it needs to be stimulated with the right approach so that they can meet the goals that they want to achieve in learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the application of an open-ended approach to math lessons and describe students' learning activities. This type of research is by class action research, the instruments used are observation sheets and test learning results. The results showed that an open-ended approach could be applied to high-graders with attention to student characteristics. Students' learning activities are also getting better and more active during the learning. While the learning outcomes are also improving. So this open-ended approach can be applied by teachers, especially in math lessons.

Abstract

Virus Covid-19 spread very quickly. One of the sectors affected by this pandemic is education. It’s felt at the State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in Aceh. Covid-19 has influenced the function of college management and the performance in fostering education and teaching. This article was intended to explain research findings on the impact of COVID-19 and management functions on the performance of lecturers in conducting education and teaching at the PTKIN Aceh. This research was carried out ex post facto on a causal basis to identify the causal relationship between the variables studied, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, management function, and lecturer performance. Research showed that COVID-19 affected the management function of the campus but did not affect the performance of the lecturers in performing education and teaching at the PTKIN Aceh. COVID-19 could have a significant positive impact on the performance of education and teaching tasks at Aceh PTKIN because it forced the lecturers to deliver new techniques in teaching performance, which is a Virtual Learning application.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) analyze the pedagogical competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the learning process at State Senior High Schools in Rantau Selamat District. 2) analyze the work culture of Islamic Religious Education teachers contributing to the formation of student character at State Senior High Schools in Rantau Selamat District. 3) analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of pedagogical competence and work culture of Islamic Religious Education teachers at State Senior High Schools in Rantau Selamat District. This type of research is field research. The results of the study indicate that 1) the pedagogical competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in the learning process at at State Senior High Schools in Rantau Selamat District, based on the results of the study that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at State Senior High Schools 1 and State Senior High Schools 2 Rantau Selamat have good and effective pedagogical competence in the learning process. 2) The work culture of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers contributes to the formation of student character at process at State Senior High Schools in Rantau Selamat District, based on the results of research that the work culture of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at State Senior High Schools 1 and State Senior High Schools 2 Rantau Selamat plays a significant role in the formation of student character. 3) The implementation of pedagogical competence and the work culture of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at State Senior High Schools 1 and State Senior High Schools 2 Rantau Selamat is influenced by supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include teacher commitment and professionalism, principal support through academic supervision, a religious school environment, and adequate learning facilities, including digital media and comfortable classrooms

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat is implemented in stages. Based on the results of observations conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat, during the learning process, teachers only focus more on student learning outcomes and less focus on character value formation. Problem formulation: 1). How is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum for students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat?, 2). How is the character formation of the Pancasila Student Profile in students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat?, 3). How is the success of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum towards the development of the Pancasila Student Profile character in students at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat?, the research method is carried out with qualitative research with data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research findings are as follows: 1) The implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat was effective through project-based learning (P5) and differentiated learning strategies, which encouraged active student involvement in the learning process. 2) The character development of the Pancasila Student Profile in students is evident in the growth of independence, social awareness, creativity, discipline, and critical thinking skills, which are internalized in daily learning activities. 3) The successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum is reflected in positive changes in student attitudes and behavior, resulting in more self-confidence, responsibility, caring, and the ability to actualize Pancasila values in real lifeCharacter Development

Abstract

This study investigates the use of religious moderation in two traditional Islamic boarding schools (dayah), specifically Dayah Darul Muta’allimin Kruet Lintang and Dayah Asasul Islamiah Leuge in East Aceh, Indonesia. It especially examines institutional policies, educational practices, student character outcomes, and the problems encountered in advancing wasathiyah (moderate Islam). Utilizing a descriptive-analytical qualitative framework, data were gathered through comprehensive observations, semi-structured interviews with leaders and educators, and examination of institutional records. The results indicate that religious moderation is consistently internalized via three interconnected methods. The curricular approach incorporates the principles of tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i‘tidal (justice and moderation) in the examination of traditional Islamic writings (kitab kuning). The cultural approach prioritizes moral exemplification by teachers and dayah leaders, so encouraging moderation through quotidian practices and institutional standards. The social approach implements moderation through joint community initiatives, practical da‘wah (dakwah bil hal), and inter-dayah interactions. These strategies mutually foster the development of pupils' religious, tolerant, disciplined, and nationalistic character. However, obstacles remain, such as inconsistent student understanding, insufficient contextualized educational materials, and exposure to extremist ideologies on social media. This study highlights the strategic importance of dayah as essential institutions for fostering moderate, humanistic Islamic education and promoting Islam as rahmatan lil ‘alamin.
