Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Pembelajaran Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (KKNPPM) merupakan kegiatan lapangan bagi mahasiswa yang menempuh bagian akhir dari program pendidikan S-1 yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan empati mahaiswa terkait kondisi dimasyarakat melalui implementasi multidisiplin ilmu, dan sebagai bentuk peningkatan komunikasi mahasiswa dengan masysrakat. Pelaksanaan Program KKNPPM 03 UMM ini bertempat Desa Sepanjang Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan, pelatihan, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan pengembangan dan penguatan kelembagaan kelompok pembudidaya ikan di Desa Sepanajang. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa keterlibatan dan partisipasi aktif mitra sangat tinggi dalam setiap pelaksanaan program meliputi aplikasi pengelolaan kualitas air, pembuatan pakan ikan, dan penerapan cara pembenihan ikan yang baik (CPIB), perbaikan kawasan rumah pangan lestari, serta penerapan cara budidaya ikan yang baik (CBIB). Sehingga evaluasi secara menyeluruh dilokasi usaha mitra menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan, dan pendampingan memberikan dampak positif bagi usaha mitra.

Abstract

PENGARUH KONSENTRASI SUKROSA DENGAN KRIOPROTEKTAN DIMETHYL SULFOXIDE TERHADAP KUALITAS TELUR IKAN MAS (Cyprinus carpio Linn.) This study aimed to examine the effect of the concentration of sucrose solution as an extender with cryoprotectant Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) on the quality of fish eggs Mas (Cyprinus carpio Linn.) In the cryopreservation process, so that this study can help in the process of genetic pemulyaan parent and improved seed. The design used in this study using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments with one control, each treatment was held repetitions 5 times, so there are 25 experimental units. Treatment of sucrose concentration used was 0.5 M, 1 M, 1.5 M, and 2 M to 1 M. Testing cryoprotectant DMSO hypothize using Fingerprint Test Range. The results showed that the quality of the eggs that are morphologically goldfish in a normal condition and deserves to be the process of cryopreservation, fertilization measurement results carp eggs without treatment (control) was 80.06% and the hatching rate of 70.10%. Carp egg fertilization levels highest in treatment B 1 M sucrose concentration of 71.60%, while the lowest fertilization treatment D at a concentration of 2 M sucrose is 31.14%. Hatching or hatching highest rate at treatment B 1 M sucrose concentration of 69.89%, the lowest rate in hatching treatment D 2 M sucrose concentration of 53.78%. Sucrose is known to meet the needs of the physical and chemical energy for metabolic processes during egg storage processes besides sucrose also acts as a cryoprotectant that is not penetration into the egg cells of fish.Keywords: Sucrosa, Cryopreservation oosit fish, DMSO.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Departemen Perikanan Terpadu Pertanian Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh konsentrasi larutan sukrosa sebagai extender dengan krioprotektan Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) pada kualitas ikan telur Mas (Cyprinus carpio Linn.) Dalam proses kriopreservasi, sehingga penelitian ini dapat membantu dalam proses genetik pemulyaan induk dan benih unggul. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan 1 kontrol, masing-masing perlakuan diadakan pengulangan sebanyak 5 kali, sehingga terdapat 25 unit percobaan. Perlakuan konsentrasi sukrosa yang digunakan adalah 0,5 M, 1 M, 1,5 M, dan dengan krioprotektan DMSO 1 M, Perlakuan D dengan konsentrasi sukrosa 2 M dengan krioprotektan DMSO 1 M. Pengujian hipotesi menggunakan Uji Sidik Ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bahwa secara morfologis kualitas telur ikan mas dalam kondisi normal dan layak untuk dilakukan proses kriopreservasi, hasil pengukuran fertilisasi telur ikan mas tanpa perlakukan (kontrol) sebesar 80,06% dan hatching rate sebesar 70,10%. Tingkat fertiliasi telur ikan mas tertinggi pada perlakuan B konsentrasi sukrosa 1 M sebesar 71,60%, sedangkan fertilisasi terendah pada perlakuan D konsentrasi sukrosa 2 M yaitu 31,14%. Daya tetas atau hatching rate tertinggi pada perlakuan B konsentrasi sukrosa 1 M sebesar 69,89%, dengan hatching rate terendah pada perlakuan D konsentrasi sukrosa 2 M sebesar 53,78%. Sukrosa diketahui mampu memenuhi kebutuhan fisik dan kimiawi energi untuk proses metabolisme telur pada saat proses penyimpanan selain itu sukrosa juga berperan sebagai krioprotektan yang bersifat tidak penetrasi kedalam sel telur ikan.Kata Kunci : Sukrosa, Kriopreservasi oosit ikan, DMSO.

Abstract

Tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus) is one of the fish species whose habitats are in the Sengguru River, Gamping Village, Pagak District, Malang Regency, East Java. Research was conducted to see the growth and relationship of length and weight of tawes fish (Barbonymus gonionotus) for six months from February to July 2020. The data from the measurement of length and weight of each fish will be analyzed to determine the nature of its growth, whether allometric (b?3) or isometric (b=3). Negative allometric growth (b<3) is the increase in length faster than weight gain, while the weight gain is faster than the increase in length is a positive allometric growth (b>3), if the growth in length and weight is balanced it is called isometric (b=3). The results consisted of 240 Tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus), which had a length range of 145 to 285 mm and weights of 40,4 to 496,2. The length and weight relationship were then analyzed with the linear regression equation obtained the results in February W = 0,000926L2,206, March W = 0,012377L1,726, April W = 2,64E-06L3,308, May W = 0,000492L2,323, June W = 4,62E-05L2,781 dan July W = 7,76E-05L2,680. February, March, May, June and July showed negative allometric fish growth patterns, while in April showed positive allomertic growth patterns. Keywords: Barbonymus gonionotus, growth, long strenuous relationship

Abstract

Remaja merupakan figur yang sangat berperan dalam proses pembangunan nasional dan mentalitas nasional. Aktivis pemuda di Dusun Jetis, Desa Mulyoagung dipilih sebagai mitra target dalam program kemitraan ini karena dianggap mampu menjembatani pengusul dengan masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan remaja di bidang pertanian dan perikanan melalui pelatihan pembuatan pakan ikan mandiri dan budi daya ikan menggunakan sistem akuaponik demi mencapai ketahanan pangan nasional melalui pengembangan potensi lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan secara langsung tentang teknik pembuatan pakan ikan secara mandiri dengan memanfaatkan bahan baku lokal dan pelatihan budi daya ikan menggunakan sistem akuaponik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan ketertarikan remaja terhadap akuaponik sebesar 30% dan peningkatan pemahaman remaja tentang pembuatan pakan ikan sebesar 30%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan dan pemahaman remaja perihal akuaponik dan pembuatan pakan ikan mandiri sehingga di masa mendatang diharapkan akan semakin banyak remaja yang menekuni bidang pertanian dan perikanan.

Abstract

Terbatasnya ketersediaan benih hingga saat ini masih menjadi kendala keberhasilan produksi ikan gurami. Hal ini salah satunya disebabkan oleh terjadinya infeksi jamur Saprolegnia sp. pada telur sehingga terjadi kegagalan dalam penetasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian ekstrak daun eceng gondok dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda terhadap prevalensi dan pertumbuhan jamur Saprolegnia sp. pada telur gurami. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Ekstrak daun eceng gondok didapatkan melalui metode maserasi yaitu dengan perendaman serbuk daun eceng gondok dan ethanol 96% kemudian penguapan menggunakan rotary evaporator. Pengujian dilakukan dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Wadah pemeliharaan menggunakan akuarium ukuran 15 cm x 15 cm x 20 cm. Interval pengamatan uji minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), uji daya hambat, dan prevalensi masing-masing 48 jam, 5-7 hari, dan 24 jam. Dosis pengenceran ekstrak daun eceng gondok pada uji MIC yaitu 6,25%; 12,5%; 25%; dan 50%. Hasil penelitian dari MIC yaitu pada pengenceran 25% terjadi penghambatan pertumbuhan Saprolegnia sp. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian lanjutan yaitu uji daya hambat pengenceran terendah 6,5% dengan rentang pengenceran 0,25%. Hasil uji daya hambat masing-masing perlakuan A (0%) 0 mm, perlakuan B (6,5%) 1,44 mm; perlakuan C (6,75%) 1,92 mm; dan perlakuan D (7%) 2,26 mm. Dengan prevalensi masing-masing 46,8%; 28%; 22%; dan 17,6%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pada uji MIC hasil pengenceran 6,25% hingga 50% terjadi penghambatan pertumbuhan Saprolegnia sp. Uji lanjut daya hambat dari ekstrak daun eceng gondok secara keseluruhan memiliki tingkat daya hambat yang rendah yaitu £ 5 mm, namun semakin tinggi dosis yang digunakan dapat menurunkan tingkat prevalensi jamur Saprolegnia sp. pada telur gurami.Limited availability of seeds to date is still an obstacle to the success of gouramy production. This is partly due to the onsling of Saprolegnia sp. fungal infection on the egg so that there is a failure in hatching. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of giving hyacinth leaf extract with different concentrations against the prevalence and growth of Saprolegnia sp. on gouramy’s eggs. The method used was an experiment with RAL (Complete Randomized Design). The water hyacinth leaf extract is obtained through maceration method by soaking water hyacinth leaf powder and ethanol 96% then evaporation using a rotary evaporator. The test was carried out with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The maintenance container uses an aquarium 15 cm x 15 cm x 20 cm. Observation intervals of MIC test (minimum inhibitory concentration), inhibitory test, and the prevalence of 48 hours, 5-7 days, and 24 hours, respectively. Dilution doses of water hyacinth leaf extract in MIC test were 6.25%; 12.5%; 25%; and 50%. The results of research from MIC that is 25% dilution occurs inhibition of Saprolegnia sp. growth. Then, further testing is done with the lowest dilution inhibition test of 6.5% with a dilution range of 0.25%. The inhibitory test results for each treatment A (0%) 0 mm, treatment B (6.5%) 1.44 mm, treatment C (6.75%) 1.92 mm, and treatment D (7%) 2, 26 mm. With a prevalence of 46.8%, 28%, 22%, and 17.6%, respectively. The conclusion of this study is the MIC test results of dilution of 6.25% to 50% inhibition of growth of Saprolegnia sp. Further tests of inhibition of water hyacinth leaf extract as a whole have a low inhibitory level which is £ 5 mm, but the higher the dose used can reduce the prevalence rate.

Abstract

The group of fish cultivators who continue to strive to develop intensive freshwater fish farming activities in the Jedong Village, Malang Regency, is the Gemari Jaya fish cultivator group. This fish farming business is relatively new, which was formed in 2019 so it requires assistance from various parties including universities. In running their business, program partners face several problems, namely the lack of proper management of fish farming so that costs and production capacity are not measurable. The purpose of this program is to improve the skills and knowledge of partners regarding the implementation of good Tilapia aquaculture management, the application of water quality management, and the application of fish health management. The method used in this activity is a method of training and mentoring related to the importance of improving good management of tilapia aquaculture, water quality management, and fish health management. The results of the activities obtained are that partners are able to apply management of Tilapia fish farming intensively guided by good fish farming practices (CBIB), Application of water quality management techniques through periodic water quality monitoring, and application of herbal plant-based fish health management at partner locations so that production capacity previously 40% increased to 60%, the target production time from the previous 6 months can be achieved within 5 months. The conclusion of this activity is that the production capacity and time of tilapia cultivation can be measured properly, so that the partner's economy increases.

Abstract

Giant Prawns (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) or freshwater prawn is also one of the crustaceans, which has the largest size compared to other freshwater prawns, in addition to giant prawns have a high economic value. The obstacle to the giant prawn's cultivation is determining the combination of natural and artificial feeding for giant prawns to improve molting quickly and increasing the growth of giant prawns. The method used was the experimental method, Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with five treatments: P1 (100 % Pellet), P2 (25 % Tubifex + 75 % Pellet), P3 (75 % Tubifex + 25 % Pellet), P5 (100 % Tubifex) and 3 replications. The data were analyzed using diversity analysis (ANOVA), and if there were differences it could be continued with the BNT test. The results showed that The Influence of Tubifex sp and Natural Feeding Percentage And Artificial Feeding On Moulting Acceleration And Growing Giant Prawns/Crawfish (Macrobrachium Rosenbergii) Stadia V greatly influenced the molting of giant prawns. The water quality during the study ranged from 23˚C-29˚C, dissolved oxygen 3,6-8,7 mg/l, and pH ranged from 7.3 to 8.9. The conclusions from the 30-days of study obtained the highest results for molting on the second treatment (P2) was 0.43, while the fourth treatment (P4) was the best combination in weight growth with a value 6390,42 mg, and long growth showed that the fourth treatment (P4) also gave the highest result which is 406.75 mg.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the combination of cake feed and silk worm feed on feed coneration ratio (FCR), Survival, and specific growth rate (SGR) of prawn larvae (Macrobacium rosenbergii). The research was conducted on 8 February - 9 March 2018 at the Fisheries Laboratory of University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Shrimp used in this study is larval prawns stadia larvae. This research was conducted by experimental method using randomized block design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. P1 100% silk worm and 0% cake feed, P2 25% silk worm and 75% cake form feed, P3 50% silk worm and 50% cake form feed, P4 75% silk worm and 25% cake feed, P5 100 % feed cake form. Feed is given in ad-station for 40 days. Observed data include Feed coneration ratio (FCR), Survival, specific growth rate (SGR), and water quality. The results showed that the combination of cake feed and silk worm feed had a significant effect on the growth rate of Specific (SGR) Fcount 7.58> from F. Table 5% (3.06) 1% (4.89), While no effect For Figures F count 0.90 <of F. Table 5% (3.06) 1% (4.89) and Feed Converation Ratio as F count 2.23 <of F. Table 5% (3.06) 1 % (4.89). Abstract

One way to increase cultivation productivity is by increasing stocking. Gouramy is a freshwater commodity that has a fairly slow growth performance. This study aims to determine the growth performance of gouramy reared at different stocking densities. The 3 cm gourami are reared in a pond containing 35 liters of water. ponds P1 (30 heads), P2 (50 heads), P3 (100 heads), P4 (150 heads), P5 (200 heads) each was repeated 3 times. Growth rate (GR), specific growth rate (SGR), survival rate (SR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were measured and analyzed for variance (ANOVA) followed by LSD. The results showed that the fish reared in pond P1 showed the best GR, SGR, FCR, and SR (3.8 g, 3.99 %, 96 %, and 1.11 respectively). The lower the density, the better the growth performance but based on efficiency and productivity the best is at P2.
