Abstract

Agriculture has the potential to become a new source of growth considering the market is quite large, especially since each district or in Bali has the potential for agricultural commodities. Subak is one of the world's cultural heritages which is a place for farming communities to carry out agricultural activities. Subak can also help farmers in improving the welfare of their families. Agrotourism as part of a tourist attraction with the aim of expanding knowledge, experience, recreation and business relations in agriculture. The purpose of this study is as follows: to determine the role of subak in optimizing the development of agro-tourism in Subak Kualon, Sidan Village, Gianyar. To find out the potential of Subak Kualon in the development of Agro-tourism in Sidan Gianyar Village. This type of research is qualitative and quantitative. The location in this study was Subak Kualon, Sidan Village, Gianyar District, Gianyar Regency. The time of implementation was 3 months, from November 2022 - January 2023. The results showed that the role of subak had an average percentage of 73.70% and was categorized as good. This is because the highest percentage is in the agricultural technical aspects of 79.72% and is categorized as good, the second highest percentage is the socio-cultural aspect of 74.20 which is categorized as good, the third is the environmental aspect with a percentage of 72.34 which is categorized as good and the fourth is the aspect economy of 71.77% and in the good category. Subak potential has an average percentage of 73.37% and is categorized as good. This is because the highest percentage is in the concept of accessibility with a percentage of 83.04% and is categorized as very good, the second highest percentage is attraction with a percentage of 72.00% and is categorized as good, the third is amenity with a percentage of 71.94 and is categorized as good and the the fourth is anciliary with a percentage of 68.51% and is categorized as good.

Abstract

The objective of agricultural development is to increase the income of farmers and agriculture business actors. The primary problem is the limited capital owned by the farmers. This study determine agribusiness activities and analyze the effectiveness of the Integrated Agribusiness Cooperative on the income level of farmers in Subak Guama, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. The research subject is the Subak Guama farmers who receive capital assistance, and the object is the income of farmers. This study used quantitative data with descriptive statistical analysis, namely paired sample t-test. The results showed that: (1) The Subak Guama carries out: integrated rice management activities, rice-livestock integration activities; and task to strengthen household business capital, namely independent business loans; (2) There is a difference in the level of farming income of Subak Guama farmers before and after receiving capital assistance for agribusiness cooperatives of 7.24% with an effective level of 86.69% with effective criteria. Abstract

The cultivation of Arabica coffee plays a strategic role in supporting the economy of farmers in Catur Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, which is one of the centers for quality coffee production in Bali. This study aims to analyze production costs, profits, and the influence of production factors on the profits of Arabica coffee farming in farmer groups in Catur Village. The analysis method used in this research is the Cobb-Douglas multiple linear regression method. The analysis results show that the average production cost of Arabica coffee is Rp14,755,930 per 81 are of farmland per year, with a profit reaching Rp48,924,070 per year. The farming efficiency, measured through the R/C Ratio of 4.32, indicates that Arabica coffee farming in the research location is feasible for development. The production factor significantly affecting profits is NPK fertilizer, with a positive elasticity (1.060), while urea fertilizer has a negative impact on profits (-0.305). Therefore, proper fertilizer use and good farm management are essential to increase profits. Farmers are advised to optimize the use of NPK fertilizer and control the dosage of urea fertilizer to maximize productivity and farming efficiency for Arabica coffee

Abstract

The high demand for broiler chickens has promising prospects for development. In 2023, broiler chicken production is projected to reach 5.8 million/ton/year, while chicken meat consumption is estimated to reach 7.46 kg/capita/year. Indonesia is actively trying to increase livestock productivity in an effort to meet the nutritional needs of the community. The main objective of this research is to analyze supply chain management and the level of efficiency of the broiler chicken supply chain implemented by UD Budi. The research methodology includes descriptive analysis and examination of marketing efficiency. Research findings reveal that broiler chicken supply chain management has three streams. The product flow moves downstream, starting from the supplier at the slaughterhouse and ending with the final consumer of the chicken. On the other hand, financial flows move upstream, namely flowing from consumers back to producers (RPH). The flow of information is reciprocal and occurs in each link of the chain. Among the various marketing channels, the level I marketing channel (Producer (Slaughterhouse) – Wholesaler (UD Budi) – Consumer) shows the highest efficiency, with an efficiency value of 3.13%. Keywords: Broiler Chickens, Marketing Efficiency, Supply Chain

Abstract

Meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman padi merupakan kunci dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional. Salah satu hambatan utama dalam pertanian padi adalah serangan tikus (Rattus argentiventer), yang menjadi hama paling berbahaya dengan kerusakan yang signifikan. Kelompok mitra menghadapi kegagalan panen lebih dari 50% karena beberapa faktor, antara lain kurangnya pengendalian tikus secara menyeluruh, pemupukan tanah yang tidak optimal, kurangnya sanitasi lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta absennya manajemen risiko kegagalan panen. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat melalui penerapan pengendalian hama terpadu dalam rangka mendukung pertanian ramah lingkungan untuk meningkatkan produksi padi di Subak Uma Jero, Desa Taman Bali, Kabupaten Bangli. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah transfer pengetahuan berbasis participatory action program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pengendalian hama tikus dengan rodentisida nabati, perbaikan kesuburan tanah dengan pupuk organik, penerapan sanitasi lingkungan, serta manajemen risiko kegagalan panen. Program pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kelembagaan mitra dengan prinsip green economy yang tidak hanya menekankan pada keberlanjutan, tetapi juga pertumbuhan inklusif, di mana pelestarian lingkungan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat berjalan beriringan

Abstract

Ikan nila merupakan jenis ikan air tawar yang sangat diminati oleh masyarakat karena memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi, pertumbuhannya cepat, serta relatif mudah untuk dibudidayakan. Namun, budidaya ikan nila menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti risiko penyakit jamur, penurunan kualitas air, rendahnya sistem kekebalan ikan, serta pertumbuhan bobot yang lambat akibat tingginya biaya pakan komersial. Program ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dengan menerapkan inovasi teknologi guna meningkatkan produksi dan mengembangkan pakan mandiri berbasis ekonomi sirkular di Pokdakan Dukuh Gangga Sedana, Kabupaten Bangli. Metode pelaksanaan PKM adalah transfer pengetahuan melalui pendekatan participatory action. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan terutama dalam program pengendalian penyakit jamur ikan, peningkatan daya tahan hidup ikan, pengembangan pakan mandiri berbasis ekonomi sirkular, manajemen risiko kegagalan produksi, serta branding dan pemasaran digital. Program ini diharapkan dapat mendorong penerapan green economy melalui ekonomi sirkular, menghasilkan produk organik ramah lingkungan yang juga efisien dari segi biaya produksi, sehingga secara signifikan meningkatkan pendapatan kelompok. Selain menekankan pada aspek keberlanjutan, program ini juga fokus pada pertumbuhan inklusif yang menggabungkan pelestarian lingkungan dengan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat

Abstract

Abstract The rice commodity is the main food of the Indonesian people which requires its availability all the time. In line with population growth. Tabanan Regency as a rice producer, especially Jatiluwih Village, Penebel District, is known as an area that produces several types of rice. The rice variety cultivated in the Jatiluwih area is the Jatiluwih Cendana Red Rice variety. The objectives of this research are: To analyze the structure of red rice supply chain activities in Jatiluwih Village. To analyze the competitive advantage of red rice in Jatiluwih Village. The research method used competitive analysis at UD WS Jatiluwih with 13 respondents consisting of farmers, millers and marketers of Cendana red rice. The results of the research show that the supply chain structure for local rice (Cendana red rice) in Jatiluwih Village is: Local rice varieties in Jatiluwih Village are proven to have a relatively high competitive advantage compared to superior rice varieties (Ciherang varieties). Socially, the competitiveness of local varieties of rice is demonstrated by the high position of local varieties among society as consumed by middle and upper class people. Economically, the competitive advantage of local varieties of rice is shown by the relatively high selling price compared to superior varieties.

Abstract

Dupa Herbal Suputra, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in Angantaka Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, has great potential in developing natural and spiritually significant herbal incense products. This study aims to analyze the marketing channels and calculate the marketing margins of the herbal incense products. The research used a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The study was conducted at Dupa Herbal Suputra MSME in Angantaka Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, over a period of two months, from November to December. Data collection instruments included interviews and recordkeeping. The results showed that there are three marketing channel patterns: (1) a one-level channel (producer–consumer), (2) a two-level channel (producer–retailer–consumer), and (3) a three-level channel (producer–collector–retailer–consumer). The marketing margin for Dupa Herbal Suputra was zero in the first channel due to direct transactions. The second channel yielded a margin of IDR 3,000, while the third channel provided a margin of IDR 5,000. This study recommends enhancing direct marketing through digital platforms to improve efficiency and producer margins. In addition, training in business management and market access is important to improve the competitiveness of local MSMEs.

Abstract

Sibetan Village agrotourism has been open since 2003, but the hope is that tourists coming to Sibetan Village can increase the selling power of salak. In fact, tourists who visit agrotourism are not yet optimal consumers of the salak produced in Sibetan Village, so the salak produced during the main harvest cannot yet be fully marketed. . This condition requires assistance to groups in supporting agrotourism, especially strengthening human resources in Sibetan Village. The service was carried out in Sibetan Village, Banyakdem District, Karangasem Regency. Service is carried out using several methods, namely: Socialization, Training, Mentoring, Evaluation, Follow-up. The service involves 5 groups engaged in the production and marketing of salak fruit in Sibetan Village, these groups include: Dukuh Lestari Group, Kerta Semaya Group, Werdi Guna, Mekar Sari. The total number of group members is 118 people. The service activities showed that there was a change in the knowledge of group members in the field of marketing salak fruit, packaging and hygiene of products marketed in agro-tourism areas. Assistance provided to farmer groups in Sibetan Village shows that there has been a change in the group's skills in marketing products using online media, packaging salak and product hygiene reaching 80%. This is due to several obstacles faced by group members, such as their weak mastery of technology in using Android. There are not many properties for packaging snake fruit in Sibetan Village, and product hygiene is not commonly carried out during the snake fruit harvesting process. So further assistance is needed to overcome the obstacles faced by the group.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi hasil produksi dan efisiensi alokasi pada usahatani pakcoy (Brasica rapa L) di Desa Candi Kuning Kabupaten Tabanan. Responden terdiri dari 30 petani yang dipilih melalui metode sensus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi pakcoy adalah kualitas benih, pupuk urea, pupuk organik, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja, sedangkan luas lahan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi. Tingkat efisiensi faktor produksi pada usahatani pakcoy kurang optimal, dibuktikan dengan nilai efisiensi 1 untuk luas lahan (1,03), mutu benih (14,20), pupuk urea (-55,32), pestisida (-17,50), pupuk organik (6,71), dan tenaga kerja (-11.72). Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah optimalisasi penggunaan input produksi untuk meningkatkan hasil pada musim tanam mendatang, serta meningkatkan penggunaan benih berkualitas dan pupuk organik sebesar 15%, sekaligus mengurangi penggunaan pupuk kimia, pestisida, dan tenaga kerja eksternal sebesar 20% untuk meningkatkan efisiensi praktik pertanian organik.
