Abstract

AbstractPreposition word is one of the very important elements in mandarin  language teaching and learning. One of the preposition wordthat is very common being used in chinese language is “dui” and “duiyu”. When students learn these two words theyare often confused, so they found a lot of problem in using these two words. To measure the ability of the using condition and difficult point of the students of University of Tanjungpura Chinese Language Major Batch 2015 in using“dui” and “duiyu”. The researcher used literature study as the method to collect data. The test results have show towards indicate that the total percentages of the students’ accuracy in the part one about “dui” is 54% (class A) and 65% (class B), the students’ accuracy in the part two about “dui” is 32% (class A) and 64% (class B). The total percentages of the students’ accuracy in the part one about “duiyu” is 40% (class A) and 44% (class B) and part two about “duiyu” is 10% (class A) and 37% (class B). In conclusion, the results show have the students’  the using condition of the word “dui”is better than the word “duiyu” and total the percentage also showed that students in class B got higher ability than students in class A.Keywords: preposition word  “dui”    “duiyu”   Using analysis

Abstract

AbstractChinese adverbs are an important part of the word class, the most commonly used adverbs are return and again. For Chinese learning, it is difficult to learn the adverbs return and again. Because these two words are used in different ways and have different meanings, they are often misused in use. This paper tests and analyzes the use of the adverbs return and again in the 2016 chinese language major of the teachers college of teacher education at the national university of tanjung pura. It is concluded that the 2016 chinese students of the Danish brass college of teacher education have used the adverb return and again to be more biased than the return. The types of errors are misdirected and misaligned. The reason for the bias is that the students are affected by negative transfer of the mother tongue and negative transfer of the target language. Abstract

AbstractGrammar is one of the main contents of language teaching. The same is true of chinese. One of the main words of chinese grammar is the verb predicate statement “ Shi…De”. The verb predicate statement “Shi…De” is a difficult problem in chinese grammar,especially junior high school students. Most students don’t know how to use verb to predicate statement “Shi…De” usage. In order to help students more easily grasp the verb predicate statement “Shi…De” usage,the author did experiment. First of all,the author of LKIA second-year students carried out a pre-test,and then the use of picture teaching aids for the three hours verb predicate statement “Shi…De” teaching. Through the post-test, the author found that the use of picture teaching helped students to improve their ability on the verb predicate statement “Shi…De”. Keywords: grammar, picture teaching aids, predicate statement “Shi…De”

Abstract

Abstract Chinese characters is a written form a Chinese language. In it’s proces, Chinese character is the most important element in Chinese language as foreign language. Student who has just begun learning in Chinese character will have some difficulties recognizing, remembering,reading and writing the Chinese character as first. In activity of teaching and learning, there are some student who could read the characters but not the meaning, there are fews who knows the character but do not know how to read it. Therefore ti save this problem, the learner can usea learning method such as Chinese logograph card to help them to recognize the character.The purpose of this learning is to imply if the logograph cards method could improve the ability of learning the Chinese character. Therefore the writer has chosen SMA Negeri 04 Kuburaya kelas XII as the experiment object. Based on the experiment, this method has reduced the problem, from 52% of errors in the beginning becomes 10% in the end of the rest. It as well proses that the logograph card really help in increasing the students ability to remember the character. Keyword : Chinese, Character, Card Learning Media

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Budaya Organisasi dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai melalui Kepuasan Kerja. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 92 orang responden yang menggunakan alat analisis Smart PLS 3 dan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan penyebaran kuesioner yang menggunakan skala likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang paling dominan yaitu budaya organisasi, mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja secara positif dan signifikan, jika budaya organisasi diterapkan dengan baik, maka kepuasan kerja pegawai juga akan meningkat. Selain itu disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin baik disiplin kerja pegawai, maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja yang akan dicapai oleh instansi. Pengaruh tidak langsung yang paling dominan adalah budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja, Jika budaya organisasi diterapkan secara efektif, maka kinerja pegawai dapat menjadi lebih baik lagi dan pegawai akan merasa lebih puas terhadap pekerjaannya, sehingga tingkat kepuasan kerja pada instansi juga akan meningkat.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKosakata dalam pengajaran bahasa Mandarin memiliki dampak besar pada kemampuan pelajar, sehingga menjadi faktor penting dalam bahan ajar. Tahun 2021, Tes HSK mengalami perubahan dengan penambahan tingkat ujian, perluasan cakupan ujian, dan menentukan jumlah kosakata spesifik yang dibutuhkan untuk setiap tingkat.Oleh karena itu, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur dan analisis komparatif untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan kosakata “Road to success”  dengan mengacu pada “Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards For International Chinese Language Education”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kosakata “Road to success” adalah mendukung peningkatan kemahiran bahasa Mandarin pembelajar, kosakata meningkat secara bertahap sesuai dengan kurikulum. Selanjutnya tingkat cakupan rata-rata kosakata “Road to success” dianalisis berdasarkan “Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards For International Chinese Language Education “ menunjukkan hasil cakupan kosakata setiap level yaitu HSK1 (dasar) sebesar 22%, HSK2 (dasar) sebesar 15%, HSK3 (dasar) sebesar 13%, dan HSK4 (menengah) sebesar 10%, dengan rata-rata cakupan total HSK 1-4 adalah 60%, sementara kosakata yang tidak termasuk dalam HSK 1-4 mencapai 40%. Kata Kunci: Analisis Komparatif; Bahan ajar; kosakata; standar HSKABSTRACTVocabulary in Chinese language teaching has a great impact on learners' abilities, so it is an important factor in teaching materials. In 2021, the HSK Test underwent changes by adding exam levels, expanding the scope of the exam, and determining the specific amount of vocabulary required for each level. Therefore, this study uses the method of literature and comparative analysis to analyze and compare the vocabulary of "Road to success" with reference to the "Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards For International Chinese Language Education". The results show that the number of "Road to success" vocabulary is to support the improvement of learners' Chinese proficiency, the vocabulary increases gradually according to the curriculum. Furthermore, the average coverage level of "Road to success" vocabulary analyzed based on "Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards For International Chinese Language Education" shows the results of vocabulary coverage of each level, namely HSK1 (basic) by 22%, HSK2 (basic) by 15%, HSK3 (basic) by 13%, and HSK4 (intermediate) by 10%, with an average total coverage of HSK 1-4 is 60%, while vocabulary that is not included in HSK 1-4 reaches 40%.Keyword: Comparative Analysis; Teaching materials; Vacabulary; HSK Standard

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the various difficulties faced by fifth-grade students at Gembala Baik II School in learning Mandarin. Mandarin is a language that requires mastery of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. However, many students encounter significant challenges, particularly in grammar, pronunciation, and the complex structure of Chinese characters. Additionally, students' lack of confidence in actively and interactively using the language contributes to their learning difficulties. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing questionnaires and interviews conducted with 38 students. The data were analyzed descriptively to identify common patterns in the difficulties experienced by the students. The findings indicate that, aside from linguistic challenges, external factors such as teaching methods and classroom environment significantly impact students' understanding. It is recommended that teachers adopt more creative and interactive teaching approaches, such as simulations and language games, to enhance student engagement and help them overcome their learning challenges in Mandarin. This study aims to contribute to the development of more effective teaching strategies for foreign language classrooms, particularly in Mandarin instruction

Abstract

Chinese characters play a very important role in Chinese language teaching. Mastering Chinese characters can improve students' ability to write them. To create a good learning process, teachers can use exciting teaching methods, such as using Chinese character cards to train students to write Chinese characters. Chinese character cards are a foreign language teaching method, which is a method of teaching language through the coordination of speech and movement. This study applies Chinese character cards to improve students' ability to write Chinese characters. The subjects of the study were second-grade students in LKIA middle school. The results of the study showed that the students' ability to write Chinese characters improved after applying for the Chinese character cards. The average score on the pre-test was 56% and the average score on the post-test after the experiment was 81%. This shows that the students' mastery of the stroke order of Chinese characters increased by 25%, which proving that the use of Chinese characters cards can improve the students' ability to write Chinese characters.

Abstract

“Jingguo” and “Tongguo” have similar meanings, but the specific usage is different. ““Jingguo” means going through a certain period of time or space.” ““Tongguo” means going from one end to the other, passing through a certain space non-stop, and does not mean going through a certain period of time.” So many students cannot distinguish their usage. Therefore, the author chooses “Analysis Mastery of “Jingguo” and “Tongguo” by the 2019 Students Majoring in Chinese Language Education at Tanjungpura University” as the research topic. The purpose is to find out whether the students have mastered the usage of “Jingguo” and “Tongguo”. This article uses literature research method and test research method. The test results show that the students’ mastery of “Jingguo” and “Tongguo” are: the correct rate of “Jingguo” is 62.76%; the correct rate of “Tongguo” is 66.79%. this shows that the students’ mastery of “Jingguo” and “Tongguo” is moderate. In addition, the most frequent problem among students is the misuse of “Jingguo”. This happened because the students do not know much about the usage and the students do not understand the meaning of the question.

Abstract

Direction words are very commonly used in daily life, so words expressing location such as "east, south, west, north" also appear in Chinese idioms. Direction words can be combined to form different idioms. There are also idioms involving location words in Indonesian, but not many. This study analyzes the idioms related to the four directions of "east, south, west, and north" in idioms to understand the meanings, and also helps learners to better understand the cultural differences between the two idioms. This article collects 69 Chinese idioms and 6 Indonesian idioms. The result of the study is that the Chinese idioms containing the location words "east, south, west, north" are more idioms expressing behavior. Indonesian idioms are more idioms indicating the direction of behavior. Idioms with two morphemes used together are more common in Chinese idioms, while idioms with one morpheme in Indonesian idioms are more common. In addition, it was found that one Indonesian idiom and one Chinese idiom had almost the same interpretation and meaning.
