Abstract

AbstractPreposition is one of the part of speech in Mandarin language. There are many preposition existed and some students are misused the "zai" preposition. The cause is because there is difference between the use of "zai" preposition in Bahasa and Mandarin language. To get the information of students' difficulty in using "zai" preposition, researcher choose the grade XI students of SMAN 4 Sungai Raya as the object of research. The result shows that from four ways to use "zai" preposition, they can use it only 42.75 %. Most of students misuse how to insert "zai" preposition in sentence. They tend to insert "zai" preposition after verbs. From this description, the researcher conclude that students are not mastering the rule of how to use "zai" preposition correctly. Keyword : vocabulary, preposition, zai

Abstract

AbstractRadial is a unit of structure between the strokes and the whole word in a compound Chinese structure. Chinese radical is divided into two categories, one is meaning radical; the other is phonetic radical. The function of the meaning radical is to indicate the meaning of the word, and the function of the phonetic radical is to express the pronunciation of the word. However, with the development of Chinese characters, some of the meaning radical effects have changed or disappeared, which have caused difficulties for students to learn radical. In order to understand the mastery and difficulty of  Chinese characters to the students on year 2015 Chinese language education study of Tanjungpura University, author uses the test method to test students to understand their mastery and analyze the difficulties of Chinese radical. The test results show that students have a better grasp of the radical deviation of Chinese phonetic than the meaning of Chinese characters. Then, according to the analysis and test results, the author finds that the difficulty of students in mastering Chinese characters is the representative meaning of Chinese characters and the variations of meaning and pronunciation of pronunciation and present. Key words: Chinese radical,Meaning radical,Phonetic radical

Abstract

AbstractTone is a very important part of Chinese teaching. There are four tones in Mandarin Chinese. When students read new words, they often mispronounce their tones, and their meanings will change. In order to understand the mastery and difficulties of the four tones of Chinese by the students of the second grade science class A in Santo Paulus Senior High School, this paper uses the test method to test the students to understand their mastery and analyze the four tone difficulties of Chinese. Test results show that some of the tones they have mastered well, but some of the tones they have not mastered very well. When analyzing the difficulties, the author finds that the most problematic time for students is when they read "the second tone". Keywords: Chinese Tones, Condition of Mastery, difficulty

Abstract

AbstractSt. Farnsiskus ASISI Senior high school is the one of private school which has Mandarin subject,  in St. Farnsiskus ASISISenior high there is a difference, not only Tionghoa student but also non Tionghoa students,  such as  dayaknees and the other ethnics, so that the student response  in learning Mandarin is also different.In order to know and understand about the condition of the teaching process in Senior high school St. Fransiskus Asisi, the writer interviewed the headmaster and collected the information through questioner from  teachers and students. The result shows that the problems are mostly come from the students? factors, which is 30.30% of the students dislike Mandarin subject, 52% of the students have the difficulty on pronounciation and Hanzi writting, and only 15.2% of the students think that the teaching method  used at school is not suitable with them.Key words: learning Mandarin, learning condition, teaching factor

Abstract

Abstract“anzhao”and”genju”both havethe meaning of a particular application or standards. However,if seen in terms of the use of the word,the two could not mutually replace.therefore,in the process of studying the “anzhao”and “genju,the studentsoften encounter errors when using both those words.in order to understand the conditions of mastery against the word preposition “anzhao”and“genju”on student education in chinese university of tanjungpura forces 2015,the authors examines how to use evaluation methods to implement test test to students.the results of his research,analysis of the mastery of the use of the  word preposition”anzhao”on students language education in chinese university of tanjungpura 2015 sovereignty forces some very nice, 56.90% average  and also against the student’s mastery of ”genju”portion is  not good,an average 48.76%.mastery of the students on the usage of  the grammar”genju+...yijian/yaoqiu/diaoca/jingyan+zhuyu”is still very less,the reason is because the students are still less understand this  grammar  usage and also could distinguish the second words in the sentences.Keywords:       anzhao,genju,mastery analysis

Abstract

AbstractIn terms of learning Mandarin, there are concrete words and abstract words. In conrete words, there is one type of word that its sentence states modification function which is adjective. Reduplication adjective is important and a difficulty in learning. The Mandarin language programme students batch 2016 in Faculty of Teacher Education and Education Science Tanjungpura University frequently make mistakes in the application of reduplication adjective, for example in reduplication adjective type AA, AABB, ABAB, or A里AB.To analyse the mastery and difficulty level of the reduplication adjective of the Mandarin language programme students batch 2016 in Faculty of Teacher Education and Education Science Tanjungpura University, the writer used research test method to collect the data. The results of this paper shows there is a type of reduplication adjective that reaches 91%, which is type A里AB, meaning the specific type is not yet mastered. As a Mandarin language teacher, the writer hopes that this research can be a reference to help the students that learns Mandarin as their second language.Key words: reduplication adjective Mandarin language, reduplication adjective type, mastery analysis

Abstract

 Abstract Adverbs is an important part in Mandarin grammar. “Zheng” , “Zai” and “Zheng Zai” are include as adverb of time. These three words are often use in daily life. Can be seen from the word the meaning of the words and the usage , there are similarities and differences. Therefore, students who learn Mandarin in process learning of these three words often make mistakes in understanding which is can create a misuse the words.To find out how the mastery codition of student from Mandarin education study program of FKIP UNTAN batch 2016 toward the adverb time words which are “Zheng” , “Zai” , and “Zheng zai” , the writer use research test method to know the mastery condition of students and analyze student difficulties toward those three words. The result shows that the mastery condition of students toward “Zheng Zai” are very good, the true percentage are above 70% and the mastery condition toward “Zheng” and “zai” are not that good, which the percentage only below 60% . In the analysis of the type of difficulty, the writer found the mistakes that often occurs is the mistakes in choosing the words.Keywords : Adverb, Zheng, Zai, Zheng Zai. Mastery Condition

AbstractThe Chinese character is a Chinese written form, it is an important forming structure in Chinese lessons of foreign students. According to the students who learn the second language, the Chinese characters are the parts that must also be mastered. In addition, Mandarin characters are difficult to recognize, remember and  write. In this case, to help students understand Chinese characters, the writer carries out a research about The use of association method to improve Abdi Agape students’s skill in recognizing chinese character. After comparing  pre-test and post-test, the researcher found that the use of association method could improve students’ ability in understanding Chinese characters.Keyword : Chinese Character, Association Method, Recognizing Chinese Character

AbstractWhen learning Chinese, many students find it difficult, especially writing Chinese characters. Mandarin characters are part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. For students, Mandarin characters must be mastered in learning Mandarin. But Mandarin characters are very difficult to recognize, hard to write, hard to remember are facts. Even though they had studied for a year and a half, but at the time of his teaching, the teacher found many mistakes when writing Chinese characters, especially in the scratches and scratches. So, the author conducted a study in DARUL ULUM high school class XI with writing method based on sequence. From the results of the analysis, get the conclusion: the use of sequential writing methods to improve the ability to write the stroke sequence of the Chinese characters of DARUL ULUM students. Abstract

AbstractChinese idioms are words or phrases arranged in a certain arrangement, the meaning of which cannot be directly explained from the meaning of the constituent words. Indonesian idioms are of from the language expression with a very clear meaning, including the norms, counsel, principles, beharviors andvalues of peoples lives and society. Unlike Chinese, are not fixed. The researchprupose of the article is to focus on the emotional color of Chinese and Indonesian idioms with waterand fire and analyze their similiarities and differences. The research result show that most Indonesian and Chinese idioms have the same meaning, but their difference is that Indonesian idioms containing the word water arerarely used to express the power of water or the surrounding environment. Idioms containing the word water in Chinese arerarely used to describe things. The difference is that indonsian idioms containing the fire morpheme are rarely used express fire, war, flames, primitive farming techniques, emergency situations, hot weather, and certain actions.
