Abstract

The life of modern society is identical with deification of science and technology, ruling out an understanding of religion . Sufism invites its adherents to think and dhikr, to use their minds intellectually optimally for the sake of the people to keep their hearts together in remembering Allah in the recitation of dhikr . Sufistic Education or Sufism need to be returned, applied and developed in human life so as to create as true individuals.

Abstract

Traditions and customs are an inseparable part of Javanese society. Traditipns four months of pregnancy or known as ngapati is one of the traditions carried out by the Javanese people until now. But nowadays, the tradition of ngapati is much abandoned by the Society. Some people consider the tradition to be out of order in the Qur'an and the Hadith, and even prohibit it. By comparing various exposures from the literature, the authors analyze, identify and review many literatures, this article discusses in depth the tradition of ngapati done by the community and its relation in the Qur'an and Hadith. Research reveals that the tradition of the regent is not in conflict with the Qur'an and the Hadith.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to determine the urgency of Dawud fasting for women from a physio-psychological perspective. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, by making direct observations or observations. The target of this study is to determine the urgency of Dawud fasting in women from the perspective of physio-psychology and Sufism for students of the Jagad Alimussirry Islamic boarding school. The data collection technique was carried out by means of interview and literature review. Meanwhile, for data analysis, the researcher used an interactive model from Miles and Huberman and to test the validity of the data,the researcher used Triangulation technique. The results obtained that the habit of Dawud Sunnah fasting for women could make them accustomed to be able to introspect (muhasabah) their own mistakes, be patient and sincere, motivate oneself to think positively and optimistically, be empathetic towards others and adapt well to the environment. Dawud fasting is very important and suitable for the fair sex. By not leaving Lillahita'ala's intention to worship, it will automatically train a variety of things that can guide a women in facing every problems in their life as well as making a women special not only physically but also psychologically and spiritually.

Abstract

Abstract. In this life, there are so many difficulties in life that make the heart anxious and make the heart uneasy, therefore it is necessary to get closer to Allah SWT so that the heart becomes calm, one of which is by doing tirakat, one of which is by ngrowot. This study aims to determine how peace the soul of Jagad ‘Alimussirry islamic buildingschool students, to know the effect of tirakat ngrowot in achieving peace of mind, and to find out how important the tirakat ngrowot is carried out by students of Jagad ‘Alimussirry islamic buildingschool in achieving peace of mind. This research is a descriptive qualitative research conducted by means of field observations and interviews with Jagad ‘Alimussirry islamic buildingschool students who do tirakat ngrowot. The results of this study were the students of the Jagad ‘Alimussirry islamic buildingschool Students do tirakat ngrowot sincerely and are happy to carry out the duties of the kyai's brother. Initial conditions or problems experienced by students of the Jagad ‘Alimussirry islamic buildingschool are responsibility issues, campus problems and the cottage environment. One of the impacts that can be seen during or after doing tirakat ngrowot is being a person who is resilient, patient, and can apply the Jagad‘Alimussirry Islamic Building school motto in everyday life. And also getting blessed to leave as it is facilitated in education and looking for work.

Abstract

Every word that is mentioned by Allah in the Qur'an, is related to giving lessons to humans or inviting people to think. In Al-Qur’an, Surah An-Nur:35, explained that the nature of Allah's light in the form of a parable, something that was known to the people at that time, namely the olive tree. Indonesian scholars interpret it as a coconut tree. This research uses literature study method with phenomenological analysis, functionalism analysis and critical analysis . The results are Coconut has an important meaning in Indonesian public belief. People believe that the coconut fruit is a symbol that represents the spiritual life of humans towards the divine. The use of the coconut fruit symbol has been used by Sufi scholars in delivering advice which is full of philosophical meanings. Each part of the coconut fruit has its own meaning representing a spiritual journey to the Divine. Coconut skin and coir as Sharia. The use of green coconut fruit as a medium for Sufi education is expected to provide Sufis with good and easy to understand learning so that Sufis can take the knowledge given by their teachers.
