Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which systolic blood pressure reaches or exceeds 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure reaches or exceeds 90 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of giving black grass jelly (Premna oblongifolia Merr) ice to pregnant women with hypertension. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest Posttest using a cross-sectional time approach. The research population consisted of 20 respondents, with a sample of 10 respondents selected using purposive sampling method. The results of this study concluded that giving black grass jelly ice has a positive effect, especially as an effective non-pharmacological method in reducing blood pressure in pregnant women who experience hypertension. These findings indicate that giving black grass jelly ice can be an effective alternative in managing blood pressure in pregnant women with hypertension. This method holds promise as an adjunctive therapy that can reduce the risk of complications related to hypertension in pregnant women.

Abstract

Burnout Syndrome is a psychologically severe labor condition that is at risk of disrupting the quality of work productivity in providing services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Quality of Nursing Work Life and Burnout Syndrome at RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban (Bougenville Room, Lotus and Orchids). This study uses a correlational analytical research design with cross-sectional. The population used were all nurses in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban totaled 47 nurses using simple random sampling. This data collection uses a questionnaire with spearmen rank analysis. Statistical test results show the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.01, because the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.05 means that H1 is accepted so that there is a relationship between Quality Of Nursing Work Life and Burnout Syndrome at RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban (Room Bougenville, Lotus, And Orchid). This study concludes that there is a relationship between the Quality of Nursing Work Life and Burnout Syndrome in dr. R. Koesma Tuban (Room Bougenville, Lotus, And Orchid). Respondents are expected to know the importance of the quality of work life of nurses to minimize the incidence of burnout syndrome.

Abstract

Self-efficacy is a sense of confidence in oneself that individuals can face the problems that are being experienced and can provide positive results. Performance is the successful completion of a task or meeting a set target. This study aims to determine the relationship between Self Efficacy with the performance of nurses in carrying out nursing care in the hospital dr. R. Koesma Tuban. This type of research is correlational using a cross-sectional time approach with a population of 39 nurses selected by cluster random sampling technique of as many as 36 nurses. The independent variable is self-efficacy and the dependent is the performance of nurses in carrying out nursing care measured using the Spearmen correlation test. The results of the study were conducted after the analysis using the Spearmen correlation test with significance level ρ = ≤ 0.05. The results of the study on the relationship between self-efficacy with the performance of nurses in implementing nursing care proved that p = 0.000 indicates the value of ρ < ɑ (0.04 < 0.05) which means H1 is accepted that there is a relationship between Self Efficacy with the performance of nurses in implementing nursing care in inpatient hospital dr. R. Koesma Tuban, with a correlation value of 0.468, which is a strong correlation with a positive direction. from the description above it can be concluded that the relationship between Self Efficacy with the performance of nurses in carrying out nursing care in the inpatient hospital dr. R. Koesma Tuban .  Keywords: Implementing Nursing Care, Nurse Performance, Self Efficacy

Many parents do not understand the attitude in handling children’s febrile seizures so it can worsen the child’s condition if it is too late to get help. Efforts to improve the attitude of parents in handling febrile seizures need to be done one of them through health education with the simulation method. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of emergency simulation on parents' attitudes in handling children’s febrile seizures (in Ngampel Village Bancar Tuban). The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post-test design. The research sample is 28 parents of babies or toddlers in Ngampel Village selected by simple random sampling. Using a cross-sectional approach. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon’s test. The results showed that most of the respondents before being given an emergency simulation had an attitude in the medium category and after being given an emergency simulation had an attitude in the good category. The result of the statistical test showed that there is an effect of emergency simulation on parents attitudes in handling children’s febrile seizures (in Ngampel Village Bancar Tuban) with a value of p-value 0,000 pada α=0,05 (p<0,05). Expected emergency simulation can improve the attitudes of parents in handling children’s febrile seizures.

Abstract

Ensuring Completeness in nursing documentation is highly important as it reflects a  nurse's responsibility and accountability for the tasks performed to meet client needs. However, the heavy workload of Nurses can hinder the implementation of nursing documentation.  This study aims to determine the nurse workload and the completeness of nursing documentation with a source-oriented record model during the pandemic (in the Regional General Hospital dr. R. Koesma Tuban) in 2022. This research method uses a correlational analytical research design that examines whether is a relationship between variables with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all nurses in dr. R. Koesma Tuban Hospital, totaling 320 nurses , with a sample size of 155 respondents selected through simple random sampling technique. The Instruments used in this study included a Self-compassion questionnaire consisting of 11 questions and a documentation completeness questionnaire  including models source-oriented record consisting of 11 questions. This study utilized the Spearman test with a significance level of   = 0.05, the results obtained = 0.02 obtained = 0.02 were less than 0.05, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (H1). This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between nurse workload and the completeness of nursing documentation with a source-oriented record model during the pandemic in dr. R. Koesma Tuban Hospital in 2022. It is suggested that further research investigate additional causal factors influencing the completeness of the source-oriented record model of nursing documentation.

Abstract

Introduction.Every minute one Indonesian baby dies because they do not get breast milk in the first hour of birth, problems with breastfeeding can be due to milk production not coming out. One way to overcome the non-smooth milk production is by doing oxytocin massage through the back. This massage can relax the mother so that it stimulates the oxytocin reflex and smooth milk production. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of oxytocin massage through the back on breast milk production in postpartum mothers. Method. This study uses a Quasy Experimental design involving 50 respondents who were taken by Systematic Random Sampling. Respondents were divided into 2 groups, namely the control group with 25 respondents and the experimental group with 25 respondents. Collecting data using a checklist observation. Data were analyzed using Paired simple T-test with a significant level of 0.05. Result&Analysis. This study showed that there is an effect of oxytocin massage through the back on breast milk production in postpartum mothers with p value = 0.000 (< 0.05). Discussion. Oxytocin massage through the back can stimulate the reflex hormone oxytocin. It is hoped that health workers can provide health education about oxytocin massage through the back to the community so that later it is hoped that all people will be able to apply oxytocin massage through the back to overcome the inability to produce breast milk.
