Abstract

The aim of this research is to look at the governance of technology-based Islamic education at the madrasah level in the city of Medan, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Quba. The study of this research uses qualitative research methods. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews were conducted with teachers and students. The results of the study show that governance at the Al Quba Ibtidaiyah madrasah level, Medan is a significant matter, because along with changing times, technology cannot be avoided, so that if there are madrasas that do not keep up with the times, they will be left behind by other schools. What's more, schools are currently the same as competition to get students, so technology is the main source for introducing schools to outsiders.

Abstract

This activity aims to help Darma Middle School students improve their learning outcomes and foster enthusiasm through the application of icebreaking in learning. By implementing icebreaking, it is hoped that it can build a learning atmosphere that is fun, dynamic and full of enthusiasm and not monotonous. Icebreaking is one solution to keep students' enthusiasm high in participating in learning, so that students are motivated and students focus again on learning. This implementation of icebreaking is carried out at the beginning of every lesson in class and in between lessons when students start to lose focus on learning. The PKM team tried to apply a learning method that included ice-breaking to find out how the optimal application of this method could improve learning outcomes and foster students' enthusiasm for learning. The icebreakers used are games or games that are accompanied by body movements. Based on the results of observations over three days, the implementation of icebreaking was quite optimal in fostering student enthusiasm for learning and from the tests given, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes at Darma Medan Middle School.

Abstract

Media image atau media gambar adalah suatu media visual yang hanya dapat dilihat saja, akan tetapi tidak mengandung unsur suara atau audio. Media kartun yang berupa gambar atau karikatur yang mempunyai manfaat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk menjelaskan rangkaian isi materi pelajaran dan mengandung makna secara mudah, menarik dan cepat dibaca oleh peserta didik. Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa Inggris yang harus dikuasai siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Keterampilan menulis merupakan keterampilan menuangkan ide, gagasan, perasaan dalam bentuk bahasa tulis sehingga orang lain yang membaca dapat memahami isi tulisan tersebut dengan baik. Hubungan media kartun dengan kemampuan menulis siswa, selain memudahkan dalam memahami materi yang sulit dipahami, media kartun juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar peserta didik. Dari penjelasan yang sudah diuraikan, penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan media kartun dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris siswa SMP Darma Medan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif dan akan diterbitkan pada jurnal Curere di Universitas Quality.

Abstract

Today, maybe everyone uses the media in carrying out activities, especially activities related to communication between one individual and another. One of them is learning media which is one of the methods or tools used in teaching and learning activities. This is done to stimulate learning patterns, support the success of the teaching and learning process, and enable teaching and learning activities to achieve their goals effectively. There are various types of learning media available. One of the challenges of learning media is to arouse students' interest in the learning material presented. One of the learning media used is poster media. Poster media is widely used in learning because it is simple and easy to make. Poster media is an illustration of a simplified image that aims to attract attention, be easy to remember and can understand the material being taught. Posters can be made using paper, computers, cardboard, and so on. Poster media can be said to be good if it meets certain criteria which include readability, visibility, legibility, and good composition. The purpose of this research is to develop the use of poster media in the learning process where posters have several functions, such as developing students' ideas and creativity, explaining a concept or process, describing objects and new vocabulary, as a tool to increase motivation, can explain a timeline, can convey messages and ideas, as well as inform an activity, agenda or specific schedule in the MBKM program tutoring at University of Quality KKN students in Sijambur Village, Kec. Roggur Nihuta Kab. Samosir and the method used is descriptive method.

Abstract

This study was made to find out how the process of completing student answers incompleting the problem-solving ability test through a problem-based learning model.The process of completing the answers to the mathematical problem solving ability test can be viewed from 2 (two) aspects, namely:1) the procedure used in solving the problem and, 2)the mistakes made by students in answering the questions/the problems.The population of this study were all third semester students majoring in informatics management at all STMIK in Medan and samples were taken at random and two STMIKs were selected with accreditations B and C. The type of this research was a qualitative descriptive analysis with the instrument was the test of problem solving abilities. This study gave the result that the problem solving process carried out by students through problem-based learning was better than conventional learning, the firs result is the number of students doing the test who obtained a "good" assessment category in the experimental class was more than the control class (Nexperiment = 67 > Ncontrol = 17 ). The second result is the test given as a whole it could be done well by students in accordance with the existing questions/problems, although some still forgot to check the answers. In addition, at every meeting there were group members who werenot active in discussing. They always busy with other things, it caused friends in one group to be disturbed.The results of this study can be used as a reference for teachers who want to implement problem-based learning.

Abstract

 Learning videos are learning media that utilize videos as a means of delivering learning material. Learning videos can be made using various applications, one of which is Canva. Canva is a graphic design application that is easy to use and has various features that can help create interesting and interactive learning videos, so teachers can use learning media through Canva to create interesting animations, infographics and explainer videos for fourth grade elementary school students. In conventional learning activities, teachers usually deliver material using the lecture method and then students are given assignments in the form of answering questions to see the students' abilities. However, this cannot be used again after learning activities at home which require teachers to create various methods to deliver the material. Apart from that, teaching staff are able to choose effective learning media in the learning process.  Learning media will help students master and understand the material presented by the teacher even though distance learning. Learning media can be adjusted based on the characteristics and abilities of students. Technological advances can be used as a basis for teachers to maximize learning activities. Effectiveness is the main factor in learning to ensure the successful use of learning models. Effectiveness can be explained as the act of student success. This process involves efforts and strategies that are implemented well and precisely. Therefore, the author in this study wants to see how effective the use of learning videos based on the Canva application is in the learning process. Teachers use this application as a learning medium for social studies subjects. This research aims to analyze the use of learning videos using Canva on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at State Elementary Schools. No. 174557 Napitupulu.

Abstract

Literasi adalah kemampuan seseorang dalam mengolah dan memahami informasi saat melakukan proses membaca dan menulis. Pada paradigma lama, literasi diidentikkan sebagai kemampuan membaca dan menulis, namun pada perkembangannya literasi dimaknai sebagai upaya memaknai proses membaca dan menulis serta pembelajarannya. Pembelajaran literasi adalah kegiatan pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami teks, berpikir kritis, dan mengolah kemampuan komunikasi secara kreatif. Model pembelajaran literasi adalah model pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan membaca dan menulis di kelas siswa SD kelas III Mis Al-Khairat. Model ini dapat membuat kegiatan belajar menjadi lebih menarik dan menyenangkan, disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Dari penjelasan yang sudah diuraikan, penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan membaca dan menulis di kelas siswa SD kelas III Mis Al-Khairat dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif dan akan diterbitkan pada jurnal Curere di Universitas Quality.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the students' writing essay writing skills that have not been maximized. One of the contributing factors is the learning model used is not in accordance with the learning material. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Indonesian language learning by using Outdoor Study learning model and conventional methods learning in Writing Essay rhymes.The study was conducted at SDN 023905 Public Elementary School in Binjai utara on juli , 2019. The population of this study was all fifth grade students of SDN 023905 Binjai Utara, which numbered 64 people and at the same time became research samples divided into two parallel classes. Data collection tool used tests and data analysis consisting of testing hypotheses using the two average difference test. From the data analysis obtained the description essay writing skills of students using Outdoor Study model learning gained an average of 80.85 and the conventional learning method gained an average of 70.70. From the two data it can be concluded that the Writing Skills Writing rhymes on the Outdoor Study Learning method is better than using the Conventional method in class V SDN 023905 Binjai Utara Academic Year 2019/2020

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara pelaksanan guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin dan faktor penghambat penanaman nilai karakter siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD Negeri 105269 Sei Beras Sekata, Kecamatan Sunggal Medan, Kabupaten. Deli Serdang Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Subjek dalam penelitian ini hanya satu yaitu guru wali kelas IV dan objeknya adalah siswa kelas IV berjumlah 20 siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan guru dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa kelas IV bernilai 91,6% (sangat efektif). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan guru dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 105269 Sei Beras Sekata sangat efektif.
