Abstract

Lack of sleep quality is one of the common forms of discomfort felt by pregnant women, especially those who have entered the third trimester of pregnancy. There are 66.7% of third trimester pregnant women who have poor sleep quality because they feel discomfort in their pregnancy. The impact of the lack of sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women affects the condition of the mother or baby during pregnancy or in childbirth later. Pregnant women with poor sleep quality can cause complications in pregnancy such as premature birth, increased maternal blood pressure and can make the labor process longer and at greater risk for cesarean section. In dealing with this, efforts can be made to handle non-pharmacological therapies such as self hypnosis. Self hypnosis is a technique to hypnotize oneself followed by the acceptance of a certain suggestion or thought. Objective: To analyze the effect of self hypnosis on sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women. Methods: Using a pre experimental one group pre test post test design which was carried out in March-April 2023 at TPMB Midwife Yulis Aktriani, S.Tr.Keb. The sampling technique was purposive sampling and used the Wilcoxon analysis test. Results: The results of the statistical analysis test using the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0,180 (>0,05) show that there is no significant effect between self hypnosis on the quality of sleep of pregnant women in the third trimester. Conclusion: There is no effect of self hypnosis on sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women

Abstract

The important principles in Islam that emphasize simplicity, balance, tolerance, justice, and respect for differences reflect the profound teachings of Islam and play a key role in maintaining social harmony in diverse societies. Overall, religious moderation in Islam is an approach centered on values that promote tolerance, peace, and appreciation of differences. This is a relevant and essential principle in an increasingly interconnected and diverse world, where a deep understanding of Islamic teachings can help resolve conflicts and promote harmony among different religious communities. The research method used in this study is a literature review (library research), with a research approach based on the analysis and synthesis of literature relevant to the specific research topic. The literature review method can be employed to gather and analyze relevant text sources, including books, academic papers, journals, and other sources discussing diversity, humanity, and moderation in the context of Islam. The results of this research show that religious moderation provides a comprehensive overview of the importance of religious moderation in Islam and how values such as tolerance, national commitment, anti-violence, respect for tradition, welfare, justice, balance, humanity, and diversity are applied in the Islamic context. In the modern era, where communities are increasingly interconnected and global challenges such as extremism and radicalization arise, understanding and practicing religious moderation is crucial to promoting peace, harmony, and cooperation among humanity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cultural adaptation patterns of the Javanese community in their interaction with the Acehnese community in Gampong Sukadamai, Lembah Seulawah District, Aceh Besar Regency, particularly within the context of marriage and death rituals. This research employs a qualitative approach using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that cultural adaptation occurs gradually through social interaction, participation in communal and religious activities, and cooperation in economic practices. In the socio-cultural sphere, harmonious acculturation emerges, evidenced by the integration of Javanese and Acehnese elements in marriage rituals, communal feasts, and death ceremonies. The main challenges in adaptation involve differences in language, customs, and cultural values; however, these are overcome through effective communication, negotiation, and continuous interaction. In conclusion, the adaptation process forms a new multicultural identity that strengthens social cohesion, tolerance, and interethnic cooperation in Gampong Sukadamai
