Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the potential impact of the principal’s leadership style on organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. Participants in this research consisted of all 47 teachers at the school, with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. To ensure the accuracy and precision of analysis, use the SPSS application for data analysis. The findings of this research show that there is a significant relationship between the principal’s leadership style and organizational culture, as evidenced by the correlation coefficient and significance value (sig) of less than 0.05. The t test further confirms the significance of the coefficient thereby providing further evidence of a significant relationship between the principal’s leadership style and organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the important and noteworthy role of leadership style in shaping organizational culture. The uniqueness of this research lies in confirming the influence of leadership style on organizational culture at SMA 3 Muaro Jambi, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding in the educational institutional context.

Abstract

Self-control can direct a person to behave in a positive directionand in accordance with the norms that apply in society. Students who have good self-control will suppress the tendency to carry out negative behavior such as verbal aggression. This verbal aggressive behavior causes problems that can lead to fights and disharmonious relationship between students. This research aims to determine the effect of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto method with 50 students as research samples obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Analysis of research data using simple regression analysis techniques via SPSS IBM 25. The research results found that there was an influence of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi. This result obtained from the Fcount value of 140.995 with Sig. 0.006 < 0.05. The value of R Square is 0.148, meaning that self-control has an influence of 14.8% on the verbal aggressive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Green spirituality is very important to do because it can foster good character development for each individual. The concept of caring for the environment and spiritual attitudes that are very closely related also have a significant impact on the character of students. This study aims to examine the spiritual attitude and character of students' environmental care and their effects. This type of research is a mixed method. The sample used is 35 high school students with the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used is a quantitative instrument in the form of a questionnaire of students' spiritual attitudes and environmental care characters, while the qualitative instrument is an interview sheet for students' spiritual attitudes. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test and linear regression test. The results obtained in this study are that the sample has a fairly good category for each variable, while for the linear regression test, it shows that there is 50.3% of the influence of spiritual attitudes on the character of students' environmental care. These results indicate that there is a significant influence between spiritual attitudes on the students' environmental care character.

Abstract

Stakeholder mapping is the process of identifying, analyzing and visualizing all parties involved in a project or activity, including in an educational context. With proper mapping, schools can understand the roles, interests, influences, and expectations of each stakeholder. This study aims to describe the implementation of stakeholder mapping at SMAN 13 Muaro Jambi as a strategy to improve the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods. The results showed that the school has implemented stakeholder mapping formally, systematically, and continuously with an analytical approach through the use of Power-Interest Grid. SMAN 13 Muaro Jambi applied a comprehensive and participatory approach in mapping stakeholders. Stakeholders are classified based on their level of influence and importance to school policies and operations. This research confirms the importance of inter-stakeholder synergy in creating an inclusive, adaptive and competitive education ecosystem. Thus, stakeholder mapping is not only a managerial instrument but also a transformational strategy in achieving holistic and sustainable education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran kepala sekolah dalam menumbuhkan kepuasan kerja tenaga administrasi di SMP Xaverius 1 Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan partisipan yang meliputi kepala sekolah dan seluruh staf administrasi di sekolah tersebut. Melalui wawancara, angket, serta dokumentasi data penelitian dikumpulkan. Tujuan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kepala sekolah mempunyai peran krusial dalam membangun kepuasan kerja staf administrasi. Kepuasan kerja ini diartikan sebagai perasaan positif staf terhadap pekerjaan mereka. Faktor-faktor seperti kenyamanan kerja, komunikasi yang baik, apresiasi dan pengakuan, kesesuaian tugas dengan kemampuan, kesempatan untuk pengembangan diri, kesempatan menyalurkan hobi dalam pekerjaan, serta kompensasi dan gaji sangat memengaruhi kepuasan kerja tenaga administrasi. Namun, tantangan seperti beban kerja yang berlebihan dan kurangnya keterbukaan antar staf perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi manajerial untuk menumbuhkan kepuasan kerja, sehingga kepala sekolah dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih produktif dan harmonis.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources is greatly influenced by the quality of education. There is a systematic mechanism for preserving knowledge and information in education. The quality of education often focuses on the quality of graduates, but without a quality educational process, high quality graduates (output) cannot be obtained. With the current development of the education industry, funding can be said to be quite a complex issue that needs to be considered by education providers. Because the basic problems of education will be related to educational staff problems, learning mechanism problems, infrastructure problems, sales problems and other aspects related to financial problems. The teaching and learning process will be hampered by the failure of educational institutions to provide funds. Obstacles in the teaching and learning process automatically cause people to lose trust in the institution. However, excessive funding does not guarantee better school management (Winarsih, 2016 ). This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method, which is a method that studies the current situation of human groups, objects, and conditions with a system of thought, or a series of events in the present. here were 6 informants/subjects for this research, including the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa in the field of infrastructure, the deputy head of the madrasa in the field of curriculum, the deputy head of the madrasa in the field of student affairs, the deputy head of the madrasa in the field of public relations and the educational staff of MI Mahabbatullah Jambi City. The results of the research show that Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mahabbatullah Jambi City does the following in managing education funds: (1) Planning and formulating policies consisting of data collection, data processing, and diagnosis, summarizing needs, budgeting the necessary resources and choosing objectives, (2) plan, (3) outline the plan, (4) implement the plan, and (5) then revise and plan the next strategy.

Abstract

: Quality education is education that can produce graduates with competencies and abilities in both vocational and academic fields, based on social, personal competencies and good behavioral values. The principal is the main driver for the development and progress of the school and is responsible for increasing the success of students and their programs. The aim of this research is to determine the role of school coconuts in improving the quality of education at Senior High School 2 Muaro Jambi. The subjects of this research are school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques include; observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique, namely analysis that explains the facts of the data as they are, excluding subjective points of view. This method is used to analyze qualitative data.
