Abstract

Merokok dan penyalahgunaan narkoba merupakan masalah serius yang dapat mengancam masa depan generasi muda, berdampak buruk pada kesehatan fisik, mental, serta hubungan sosial mereka. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dilakukan program pengabdian masyarakat di SMK Muhammadiyah Naha, Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe, Sulawesi Utara dengan melibatkan pihak sekolah sebagai mitra utama. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran remaja tentang bahaya rokok dan narkoba melalui penerapan metode SABAR NA (Sadar Bahaya Rokok dan Narkoba). Metode SABAR NA dilaksanakan melalui seminar edukatif, diskusi kelompok terarah, dan simulasi interaktif yang menggambarkan efek buruk rokok dan narkoba, serta strategi praktis untuk menghindarinya. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara tatap muka di aula sekolah dengan melibatkan seluruh siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII, serta guru pendamping. Untuk mengukur efektivitas program, digunakan kuisioner pre-test sebelum kegiatan dan post-test setelah kegiatan guna mengetahui perubahan pemahaman dan sikap siswa. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan, sikap proaktif, dan keterampilan siswa dalam menolak pengaruh negatif lingkungan, sehingga tercipta komunitas sekolah yang sehat dan bebas dari rokok serta narkoba. Program ini juga diharapkan menjadi model edukasi preventif yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah lain di wilayah Kepulauan Sangihe.

Abstract

Kualitas kehidupan kerja perawat Quality of Nursing Work Life QNWL) berperan penting dalam menentukan kinerja, terutama dalam pendokumentasian catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (CPPT). QNWL yang baik meningkatkan motivasi, tanggung jawab, dan ketelitian perawat, sehingga berdampak pada mutu pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien di ruang rawat inap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Quality Of Nursing Work Life (QNWL) dengan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (CPPT) di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit manembo-nembo kota bitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit manembo-nembo kota bitung pada bulan Maret 2025. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 60 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Quality Of Nursing Work Life dan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasian CPPT sedangkan uji realibitas kedua kuesioner digunakan rumus Alpha Cronboach α > 0,70. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 51 responden berada pada kategori Quality Of Nursing Work Life Baik dan 47 responden berada pada kategori kinerja perawat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis chi-square dengan hasil fisherr erxact terst didapatkan nilai (p) = 0,000, artinya nilai (p) < = 0,05. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini ada hubungan Quality Of Nursing Work Life (Qnwl) dengan kinerja perawat dalam pendokumentasi catatan perkembangan pasien terintegrasi (CPPT) di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit manembo-nembo kota bitung.

Abstract

Introduction: This review aimed to synthesize the evidence on the effectiveness of dMBIs in reducing burnout, depression, and mindfulness among healthcare workers. Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were conducted according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Six databases were searched through June 25, 2025. Eligible studies evaluated dMBIs among healthcare workers with burnout as a primary or secondary outcome. Standardized mean differences (SMDs) were pooled using a random-effects model. The risk of bias was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool, version 2.0. Results: Nine RCTs were included, with 1,603 participants contributing to the analyzable data. dMBIs reduced emotional exhaustion (SMD = −0.34; 95% CI: −0.60 to −0.07) and depersonalization (SMD = −0.31; 95% CI: −0.55 to −0.07), and increased personal accomplishment (SMD = 0.48; 95% CI: 0.16 to 0.80). The dMBIs also improved mindfulness (SMD = 0.44; 95% CI: 0.07 to 0.82) and reduced depressive symptoms (SMD = −0.20; 95% CI: −0.37 to −0.03). The heterogeneity was moderate to high, and most studies were at a high risk of bias. Conclusions: dMBIs may improve burnout, mindfulness, and depression in healthcare workers, and their flexible digital format may support their use in workplace wellness programmes. However, the heterogeneity was moderate to high, and most trials were at a high risk of bias; therefore, the findings should be interpreted cautiously. Further high-quality trials are needed to confirm these effects and to identify the best delivery formats and engagement strategies.

Abstract

The head of the ward has a crucial role in supervising health services, especially in supervising nurses regarding documentation of nursing care. This supervision functions to improve nurse performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the performance of nurses in documenting nursing care in the emergency room at Kotamobagu City Hospital.The method used is correlational analytics with a sample of 33 respondents taken by total sampling. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and observation sheets, and analyzed using the Chi-Square Test with a significance level of 0.05.The research results showed that most of the supervision of room heads was in the good category (72.7%), but most of the documentation of nursing care was still incomplete (69.7%). The Chi-Square test produced a value of p = 0.020, which is smaller than 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the performance of nurses in documentation. In conclusion, there is a positive relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the documentation performance of nurses. It is hoped that the quality of documentation can be improved through seminars or workshops, as well as supervision and leadership training, so that room heads can become role models for nurses in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

Burnout syndrome is a condition characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a diminished sense of self-efficacy that nurses often experience due to high workloads. One approach that can be taken to reduce the level of burnout syndrome is through mindfulness-based breathing exercises. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of mindfulness-based breathing exercises on the level of burnout syndrome among nurses in the inpatient ward at R. W. Mongisidi Teling Hospital, a Type II General Hospital in Manado. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study population consisted of 87 nurses, with a sample of 20 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Mindfulness-Based Breathing Exercise SOP and a burnout questionnaire. The data were then analyzed using a T-test with a significance level (α) of 0.05. The study results showed that the mean score for the burnout syndrome among nurses in the inpatient ward of R. W. Mongisidi Type II General Hospital before the mindfulness-based breathing exercise intervention was 43.65, and the mean score after the intervention decreased to 40.40. The T-test results yielded a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of mindfulness-based breathing exercises on the burnout syndrome levels among nurses in the inpatient ward of RS TK II. R. W. Mongisidi in Teling, Manado. Mindfulness-based breathing exercises have a significant effect on burnout syndrome levels among nurses because this intervention helps improve self-awareness, control emotions, and reduce work-related stress. Recommendation: This intervention can be routinely implemented in hospitals as an effort to improve nurses’ psychological well-being and the quality of healthcare services.

Abstract

The implementation of nursing care standards is the provision of nursing care that based on solving patient's problems. Several factors that are believed to influence nurses' compliance in implementing nursing care standards are including education, work experience, and motivation. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors related to nurses' compliance in implementing nursing care standards at the 3rd grade hospital of bhayangkara in Manado. The results of the study showed that there is no relationship between education factors and nurse compliance point p (0.630), this point p is bigger than the point ɑ = 0.05. There is a relationship between work experience factors and nurse compliance p = 0.004, this point p is smaller than the point ɑ = 0.05. There is a relationship between motivational factors and nurse compliance in implementing nursing care standards p = 0.000, this point p is smaller than the point ɑ = 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that almost all of the respondents have a high motivation in implementing nursing care standards at the 3rd grade hospital of bhayangkara in Manado. In expecting that this study could be an input to increase the nurse compliance in implementing nursing care standards.
