Abstract

This research uses repetition codes based on Coded Random Access (CRA) to support Internet of Things (IoT) to give priority to emergency commutations in super-dense networks. Degree distribution for emergency group and general group are obtained with extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) analysis to achieve small error performance shown by the very small gap between emergency group curve and general group curve. This research also evaluates performance by observing throughput and packet-loss rate (PLR) parameters from every groups. Offered traffic in PLR  for emergency group user is G= 0,7 packet/slot without fading and G= 0,65 packet/slot with fading, while for public group is G=0,699 packet/slot without fading and G=0,42 packet/slot with fading. Peak throughput for emergency group is G= 0,737 packet/slot without fading and G= 0,729 packet/slot with fading. Peak Throughput for public group is G= 0,699 packet/slot without fading and G=0,685 packet/slot with fading. Throughput values of emergency group are higher than those of the general group, indicating successful process of giving priority for emergency group.

Abstract

A number of studies show that Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) data dominates the data path through the internet network by more than 75%. Based on the results of the netcraft web server survey, which is based on the open source apache and nginx web servers, every year the number of users has increased. With the rapid development of the internet, the availability of IPv4 is increasingly limited, to overcome this problem, IPv6 allocation is used on the web server because it has a larger number of addresses and better security. In this study, the web server performance is tested with the test parameters, namely Time Taken for Tests, Request Per Second, Transfer Rate (Kb/s), Time per Request (ms), and Memory Usage. Testing with Apache Bench is done by providing client requests with varying amounts, with the number of requests from 500 to 500000 requests. The results of this study using Apache Benchmark testing that Nginx is superior to Apache in terms of 4 seconds faster in completing client requests and less memory usage.

Abstract

In the landscape of 5G mobile networks in Indonesia, one of the prominent frequency candidates is 3.5 GHz. The frequency is anticipated to be the initial choice for operators to deploy 5G networks. The research focuses on designing an indoor cellular network to address indoor network degradation issues using Small Cells, specifically Femtocells, within buildings such as schools, companies, hospitals, and airports. The design is implemented at PT. Sutanto Arifchandra Electronic (PT. SAE) based on the COST 231 Multi-Wall Propagation model using the Radiowave Propagation Simulator (RPS) 5.4 application. The required parameters for designing the indoor cellular network include residential building specifications and a Link Budget parameter to determine the number of Femtocell Access Points needed to cover all areas adequately. The coverage calculations determined that 2 Femtocell Access Points are required. The simulation uses three scenarios, with the optimal outcome observed in scenario 2 (employing 2 Femtocell Access Points positioned on the middle right and left sides of the walls). This scenario yields a signal power level of -25.60 dBm and a Signal to Interference Ratio (SIR) of 14.80 dB.

Kata kunci: LTE, optimasi, physical tuning, Automatic Cell Planning, Atoll ABSTRACT The quality of the 4G (LTE) network is still unstable, causing bad coverage. To improve the quality of 4G network (LTE) can be done by sectoral antenna tuning optimization. Physical tuning of sectoral antennas includes changes in antenna height, azimuth and tilting antenna. In this study a sectoral antenna tuning physical optimization was carried out using the Automatic Cell Planning (ACP) method to meet coverage needs in West Purwokerto and North Purwokerto areas. The percentage of existing coverage sites has not met the KPI Operator standard for RSRP of 78.491% 100 (100) dBm and CINR of 65.669% ≥ (0) dB. The results of sectoral antenna tuning optimization using the ACP method have met the KPI Operator standard for RSRP of 90.037% ≥ (100) dBm and CINR of 94.868% ≥ (0) dB.
