Abstract

Setiap hari manusia pasti melihat iklan di sekitarnya. Entah itu berupa iklan cetak maupun iklan elektronik. Namun, karena manusia memiliki keterbatasan dalam menerima informasi, maka ia akan menyaring informasi yang ia terima. Mengacu dari teori tersebut kedalam pemasaran, karena terlalu banyaknya melihat iklan, seorang konsumen akan menyaring informasi mana saja yang sekiranya penting atau tidak. Hal ini menyebabkan recall dari suatu brand rendah. Oleh sebab itu, attention-getting device dibutuhkan agar orang yang melihat iklan itu merasa tertarik dengan iklan yang ditampilkan dan pesan yang disampaikan dalam iklan tersampaikan dengan baik sehingga produk yang dipasarkan dapat diingat oleh konsumen dan dapat menyebabkan recall yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan antara related dan unrelated celebrity endorser pada iklan, serta untuk mengetahui apakah related dan unrelated celebrity endorser berpengaruh terhadap brand recall. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Mann-Whitney U-Test, analisis regresi, dan korelasi dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara related celebrity endorser dan unrelated celebrity endorser. Namun keduanya berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan brand recall.

Abstract

Kondisi pandemic Covid-19 menyebabkan keterpurukan industri pariwisata. Salah satu strategi yang digunakan untuk mempertahankan kunjungan wisatawan adalah dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi.. Digital tourism dimanfaatkan sebagai media promosi online, yang belum banyak digunakan oleh destinasi wisata khususnya wisata heritage. Permasalahan yang dihadapi saat ini adalah rendahnya minat wisatawan berkunjung ke wisata heritage salah satunya adalah Museum Nasional Indonesia ditengah pandemic covid-19. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengatasi minat berkunjung adalah dengan memanfaatkan promosi yang menyesuaikan perkembangan zaman, yaitu online and social media marketing yang didalamnya terdapat virtual museum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai pengaruh dari virtual museum Nasional Indonesia terhadap minat berkunjung. Sampel yang diambil adalah sebanyak 100 wisatawan nusantara yang pernah berkunjung ke Virtual Museum Nasional Indonesia yang dijadikan sebagai responden. Teknik penarikan sampling yang digunakan adalah Convenience sampling. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai adalah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual museum sebagai media promosi dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan minat berkunjung oleh responden. Hasil perhitungan analisis jalur diketahui bahwa virtual museum memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat berkunjung ke Museum Nasional Indonesia.

Abstract

Dalam rangka meningkatkan motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru, maka upaya pengendalian dan pengawasan kerja terutama dalam lembaga pendidikan perlu dilaksanakan secara terus menerus dan konsisten. Salah satu faktor yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alat pengawasan dan pengendalian adalah melihat tingkat kehadiran guru yang secara periodik di evaluasi yaitu dengan melalui sistem pelaporan presensi yang berfungsi sebagai alat perekam kehadiran guru secara cepat, tepat, dan akurat. Pada sekolah-sekolah yang bernaung di Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979, sistem yang digunakan untuk merekam kehadiran guru masih manual yakni menggunakan tanda tangan maupun pengecekan secara individu sehingga dapat terjadi pelanggaran dalam proses maupun hasil rekam kehadiran tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan aplikasi penilaian kinerja berbasis presensi guru di sekolah-sekolah di bawah Yayasan Pendidikan Handayani 1979. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, melalui kegiatan PKM, dilakukan peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pengembangan aplikasi kinerja berbasis presensi guru.

Abstract

During the solidification process, metal liquids turn into solid geometry units including the riser and gating system. The disruption in the liquid flow often causes shrinkage in the object. Critical Solid Fraction Point is a critical point where the continuous liquid supply turned solid and unable to pour to some sections. Simulation software can predict the critical solid fraction time of an object and the liquid supply behavior. The simulation helps the designer in the casting design. The application of low steel alloys in the cement industry, e.g., the Diaphragm, needs development to minimize the shrinkage. This research aimed to analyze the critical solid fraction point in the diaphragm steel casting products. The primary objective of this research was to predict the critical solid fraction point during solidification, started from the longest time in the riser/feeder using SOLIDCast 8.1.1 casting software and provided improvement recommendation to minimize the shrinkage.

Abstract

Indonesia has many corn-producing areas, but the need for corn still cannot be fulfilled because several regions cannot produce corn to the fullest, especially in West Java. Besides that, The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a need for more corn buyers, both from factories and collectors, to absorb corn yields from farmers. This condition indicates that the climate for small and medium business activities in the agricultural sector, especially corn, still needs to be more conducive and optimal. This study aims to analyze the influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation and External Environment on Business Strategy. The data collection results were analyzed using the Pearson correlation method and linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that business strategy is influenced by entrepreneurial orientation and the external environment. Entrepreneurial orientation and the external environment must be honed and continuously improved to impact innovative business strategies' power significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to thoroughly investigate how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is strategically integrated into digital marketing practices and its consequential effects on Indonesia’s fiercely competitive business environment. Employing a quantitative research approach, this study meticulously examines Indonesian enterprises’ prevailing strategies for AI utilization. The research method employed in this study is quantitative, with the unit of analysis being Indonesian companies. The sample size comprises 100 companies selected through the stratified random sampling technique. Analysis of the data is conducted using the SPSS statistical package. Through detailed analysis of survey data and advanced statistical techniques, the research reveals a significant positive correlation between the integration of AI in digital marketing and improved marketing effectiveness. The study highlights a noticeable increase in customer engagement metrics and noteworthy enhancements in conversion rates among businesses proficient in leveraging AI technologies, further reinforcing this correlation. Additionally, the findings suggest that companies embracing AI demonstrate significantly heightened adaptability to the constantly evolving market dynamics, strengthening their competitive positioning. These insightful discoveries underscore the critical importance of harnessing AI’s transformative capabilities within digital marketing strategies to sustain and bolster a competitive edge in the marketplace. Abstract

The U-bend tubes of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger made of SA-234 Grade WPB carbon steel failed prematurely within 14 days after replacement and welding. This study investigates failure mechanisms through an integrated failure analysis that includes visual inspection, dye penetrant testing, chemical composition analysis, hardness measurements, and microstructural characterization. The results reveal that the tube contained 0.324 wt.% C, exceeding the maximum limit specified by the standard, which promoted the formation of Widmanstätten ferrite and reduced toughness. The welded joint exhibited multiple defects, including porosity and lack of fusion, which acted as stress concentration sites. Hardness measurements showed average values of 205 HV in the weld metal, 199 HV in the HAZ (heat-affected zone), and 184 HV in the base metal. Under operating conditions of 275 °C and 58.48 barg, these defects progressively opened, leading to fluid leakage. The escaping high-pressure fluid accelerated erosion-corrosion, as evidenced by oxygen-rich corrosion products detected by EDS analysis. The findings demonstrate that the combined effects of material non-compliance, poor welding quality, and unfavorable microstructural evolution governed the premature failure. This study provides quantitative insights to improve welding practices and material selection, thereby enhancing the reliability of U-bend tubes in shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
