Abstract

Local traditions contain character educations for their owner. Every people has specific in character education. Cheater education has to uncover from culture elements; language, literature works, customs, and so on. In this era we see our nation take away their character educations that they have get them for centuries to take care of their identities. The put foreign culture (pop, trend), but in the next time it show us many problems have to be solved.

Abstract

This research is to find out how cultural hegemony that occur in manaqiban tradition in Desa Sari Kecamatan Gajak Kabupaten Demak that can affect the outside community by exercising powers that happened. Manaqiban tradition is a ritual performed by the society in which the people of Java and Madura as a tribute to something about it. Manaqiban tradition also conducted in Desa Sari with a time of implementation is on the eve of the sacred. This tradition was carried out as a form in order to honor the founder of the Desa Sari. Manaqiban tradition in the Desa Sari implemented in a tomb of the gentry named Mbah Djomo. This study used a qualitative approach and data sources of gatekeeper Mbah Djomo. The technique used is by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

Sistem pengobatan dapat dimasukkan ke dalam unsur sistem pengetahuan suatu bangsa yang dalam realisasinya dapat dimasukkan ke dalam unsur teknologi. Kebudayaan Jawa mempunyai sistem pengetahuan pengobatan yang sudah ratusan tahun digunakan oleh masyarakat Jawa, yakni sebelum masuknya teknikteknik kedokteran modern. Sistem pengobatan tersebut disebut sebagai sistem pengobatan tradisional. Tulisan ini membatasi pada obat-obat tradisonal yang terdapat dalam primbon mengingat bahwa primbon sampai dewasa ini masih fungsional. Di samping itu, beberapa primbon sampai saat ini belum memasyarakat karena ditulis dalam huruf yang sudah digunakan secara luas (huruf Jawa) dalam jumlah eksemplar yang terbatas dan hanya tersimpan di museum tertentu. Di samping itu, bagi kebanyakan bangsa Indonesia, bahasa primbon sukar dipahami karena menggunakan bahasa daerah.

Abstract

In the Kasunanan of Yogyakarta, the Diponegoro War took place from 1825 to 1830. A central figure in the incident, namely, Prince Diponegoro, took the name of this war. Unlike the life of royal princes in general, Prince Diponegoro did not spend his time in various pleasant and luxurious forms of life. The Prince of Diponegoro had been living outside the palace since a young age and was busy deepening various understandings, including deepening the Islamic teachings. His personal life reflects a type of life filled with piety and misticism, due to this way of life and a lot of contact with Ulama. Even the prince was known as Ksatria-ulama by the observers. As someone overflowing with piety and modesty in practice. Then when he led the revolution against the Dutch colonial government, there were many expectations and perceptions associated with the movement. There were a number of hopes raised on the shoulders of Prince Diponegoro, in accordance with the circumstances at that time when the group was in a difficult position, oppressed both in the social, political and economic fields due to various colonialism. From this dream, then, Prince Diponegoro adhered to the character of Mahdism, that is to say, the dream of a future full of prosperity, stability and tranquility, both in social, political and economic life. From this, the meaning emerged that the Diponegoro War was a movement known as mahdism.

Abstract

The prince of Mas Sahid or Mangkunegara I is a figure who has an extraordinary leadership spirit so as to be able to establish mangkunegaran work with a strong army. The paper of this study seeks to understand the concept of mangkunegaran. The paper of this study used literature review method. The emergence of mangkunegaran legions comes from the struggle of The prince of Mas Said along with his followers who feel disillusioned with the government and then injustice done by Paku Buwono II. The embryos of the mangkunegaran legion are soldiers eho fought together with The prince of Mas Said. With “ikrar tiji tibeh” which means if one of the fallen all feel, when one gets happiness then all participate in enjoying it, the way it the purpose of The prince of Mas Said to unite his legions and getting win in the warious battles. In his struggle, The prince Mas Said cooperates with Sunan Kuning and the prince of Mangkubumi. When working with Sunan Kuning, The prince of Mas Sahid is equipped with the ability to set strategies and how to use weapons and then then appointed as a “senopati” with the title of prince of prangwedanan who led 300 death squads of soldiers. The first battle with Sunan Kuning was against the soldiers of Kompeni and soldiers of Ternate and then the prince of Mas Said is winner. After conquering Madiun and Ponorogo, the prince of Mas Said dissever with Sunan Kuning, the prince of Mas Said was later caught and wxiled to Sri Langka. The paper is attempts to reveal the concept of leadership of the prince of Mas Said that managed to win various wars and then united the troops.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Hamengku Buwana VII is the King of Yogyakarta styled as Sinuwun Sugih. This title is awarded due to his leadership, which increases the revenue from establishment of sugar mills. His ideology in terms of leadership struck the sympathy of his subjects, especially that Hamengku Buwana VII implements the philosophy of Kawiryan in various ways, thus enhancing his image. There is one ancient manuscript that portrays this kawiryan nature of the king, whenever he faced events that haven't been seen before. The Kawiryan nature makes the people so sympathetic towards him. This writing aims to find out what is the content of Serat Saptastha and how the text portrays the Kawiryan nature of the King. This writing uses the methodology of qualitative research with content analysis and literature study for data collection techniques. This writing based its theory from the works Antonio Gramsci, the theory of hegemony. The results of this study indicate that the Serat Saptastha was written in 1921, the end of Hamengku Buwana VII's reign. Further, Kawiryan ideology shows that Hamengku Buwana VII succeeded in winning his people's hearts, even long after the end of his reign, his leadership quality is the one that people remember until now.Keywords: Ideology, Kawiryan, Serat SaptasthaABSTRAK: Hamengku Buwana VII merupakan raja Yogyakarta yang mendapatkan sebutan Sinuwun Sugih. Sebutan tersebut disematkan karena pada masa kepemimpinnya banyak mendapatkan pundi-pundi pendapatan dari pendirian pabrik gula. Ideologinya dalam hal kepemimpinannya menempatkan Hamengku Buwana VII mendapatkan tempat dihati rakyat banyak, terlebih bahwa Hamengku Buwana VII menerapkan sifat kawiryan dalam berbagai hal, sehingga menambah citra bagi Hamengku Buwana VII. Terdapat salah satu naskah kuno yang menceritakan bagaimana sikap kawiryan raja yakni Hamengku Buwana VII dalam mendapati beberapa peristiwa yang tidak dialami oleh raja sebelum-sebelumnya. Sikap kawiryantersebut membuat rakyatnya begitu simpatik terhadap dirinya. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa isi dari teks Serat Saptastha dan bagaimana sikap kawiryanHamengku Buwana VII yang tertuang dalam isi teks Serat Saptastha.  Metode yang digunakan berupa metode kualitatifdengan analisis isi dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi kepustakaan. Serta teori yang digunakan berupa teori hegemoni dari Antonio Gramsci. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Serat Saptastha ditulis pada tahun 1921, tahun tersebut menunjukkan tahun berakhirnya masa kepemimpinan Hamengku Buwana VII. Selain itu, ideologi kawiryan menunjukkan bahwa Hamengku Buwana VII menempatkan dirinya di hati rakyatnya, bahkan berakhirnya masa kepemimpinan Hamengku Buwana VII, sosok kepemimpinannya terus saja terkenang hingga sekarang.Kata Kunci: Ideologi, Kawiryan, Serat Saptastha

Abstract

The implementation of the Banyu Panguripan Tradition still balances the values of Islamic teachings that live in the community of Pulosari Subdistrict. Although this tradition has potential as a cultural tourism destination, it still does not leave the essence of the sacredness of this tradition. The Banyu Panguripan tradition is a tradition related to springs and water sources, which is not only in Pulosari Subdistrict. But some areas also have the same tradition, such as in Kudus. The difference lies in the packaging and implementation of the event. The use of descriptive qualitative methods is considered appropriate in this research because the techniques used in data collection are observation and interviews so that the data obtained comes from interviews with informants who are relevant and credible to this research. The sacredness that exists in the implementation of the Banyu Panguripan Tradition still does not leave the Islamic corridor in the community.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perbandingan fakta cerita pada Hikayat Nabi Isa (HNI) dan film Jesus. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah naskah HNI dengan kode Malayo-Polynésien 68 yang tersimpan di Perpustakaan Nasional Prancis. Film Jesus diadaptasi dari Injil Lukas. Metode penyuntingan yang digunakan adalah landasan (legger). Inventarisasi data menggunakan teknik kepustakaan dan capturing scene. Teknik pengolahan data melalui tiga tahap, yaitu deskripsi, analisis, dan evaluasi. Artikel ini menghasilkan tiga uraian. Pertama, alur dalam HNI dan film Jesus menggunakan alur maju. Kedua, karakter sentral dalam HNI adalah Nabi Isa sedangkan karakter sentral dalam film Jesus adalah Yesus. Dalam HNI terdapat 21 karakter bawahan sedangkan film Jesus memiliki 17 karakter bawahan. Ketiga, latar tempat, waktu, dan sosial dalam HNI maupun film Jesus menarasikan peristiwa-peristiwa selama perjalanan dakwah Nabi Isa dan pelayanan Yesus Kristus.

Abstract

Cette étude examine le processus d’acquisition des compétences interculturelles dans l’apprentissage du français à l’Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). En s’appuyant sur une approche qualitative et une étude de cas, les données ont été recueillies à travers des entretiens approfondis avec 14 enseignants de français. Les résultats révèlent que, bien que la transmission de la compétence interculturelle soit considérée comme importante, elle reste encore partielle. Les dimensions du savoir, de la compréhension et des compétences pratiques (savoir-faire) sont davantage explorées, tandis que les attitudes (savoir-être) et la pensée critique (savoir-s’engager) sont moins abordées. L’étude identifie cinq fonctions essentielles de la compétence interculturelle pour les apprenants : 1) prévenir le choc culturel, 2) faciliter la compréhension des contextes linguistiques et culturels, 3) motiver et préparer mentalement, 4) renforcer l’identité personnelle et filtrer les valeurs non compatibles, 5) développer un esprit critique dans la réception d’informations. L’intégration plus équilibrée des cinq dimensions proposées par Byram est nécessaire pour former des apprenants capables de naviguer efficacement dans un monde multiculturel. Cette étude recommande un renforcement des formations enseignantes en matière de compétence interculturelle et une révision curriculaire intégrant ces dimensions de manière systématique.
