Abstract

In the fast pace of digitalization, student admission information system websites face the challenge of providing responsive and quality services to applicants. One emerging solution is the use of chatbots, which enable automated interaction with customers. Technology continues to transform over time. At SMK Insan Teknologi (InTek), the service process is still manual, such as physical archives for student registration, incomplete information, and the absence of an official website. To improve administration and data access, a web-based information system is offered. While the Chatbot helps in interactive services and time efficiency to answer registrants' questions, NLP is used to make the conversation in the chat more natural and easy to understand by registrants. The results of testing the system show that the system functions properly in responding to messages sent through the chatbot on the website both from the message text according to the intent, as well as abstract text and not according to the pattern with an accuracy rate of 87,5%. It is hoped that this research can improve the quality of service and administrative efficiency at SMK Insan Teknologi and can be applied in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The problems of nutrition, including stunting, remain a challenge in Indonesia. Therefore, Prabowo and Gibran launched the 2024 Free Meal Program, which provides free lunch to every school child as well as pregnant mothers. This research analyzes public sentiment towards this program using data from X with Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods. The data was analyzed through crawling, preprocessing, labeling, and feature extraction using TF-IDF. The results showed a predominance of positive sentiment towards the program, with SVM performing better in sentiment classification, achieving 86.42% accuracy compared to Naïve Bayes with 67.9%. The findings can guide policymakers in improving the communication strategy and implementation of the Free Meal Program to make it more impactful for Indonesians.

Abstract

This research has the main objective of producing a product of mathematics learning application design that supports the mathematics learning process to be more qualified. The application developed can help teachers to map the competencies and learning achievements of each student. In supporting the development of this application also combines realistic mathematics and quizzes that are designed to be interactive and responsive. In directing this research, the object-oriented extreme programming system development method was developed through the stages of planning, design, coding and testing. With this application, teachers are greatly helped in organizing students in a more qualified and interactive learning process. Based on the results of testing that has been done in the classroom, the response of teachers and students with this application gets a very positive response

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial mudah ditonton tanpa batas waktu dimana dan kapan saja, membuat kekhawatiran tersendiri dari orangtua terhadap perilaku sosial anak. Meningkatnya kasus pelecehan seksual, adalah salah satu dari begitu banyak dampak dari penggunaan media sosial. Salah satu cara untuk mencegah anak agar tidak mengalami pelecehan seksual adalah dengan memberikan pemahaman mengenai hal bersifat seksual kepada anak. Akan tetapi stigma tabu ketika membicarakan pendidikan seksual masih sangat melekat dalam masyarakat di Indonesia saat ini. Pihak yang berperan untuk memberikan pendidikan seksual adalah guru di sekolah. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh guru sebanyak 7 orang dan anak didik kelas 5 sebanyak 33 siswa/siswi di SDN Susukan 09 Pagi, Jakarta Timur. Metode pengabdian ini adalah dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi, serta praktik mengggunakan aplikasi berbasis android berteknologi Augmented Reality (AR) ‘Pengenalan Anggota Tubuh’. Hasil dari metode kuesioner terhadap siswa/siswi mengalami kenaikan dari 50% menjadi 92.857%  dan guru dari 56.06%  menjadi 94.94%. Peningkatan kemampuan dalam menggunakan aplikasi oleh siswa/siswi sebesar 89%. Penggunaan teknologi AR pada media pembelajaran menjadikannya interaktif dan menarik, sehingga efektif dalam memberi pembelajaran kepada anak mengenai bagian-bagian tubuh yang pribadi serta cara melindungi dirinya dari ancaman pelecehan seksual.

Abstract

Students often face difficulties in finding relevant thesis references, which can hinder the completion of their final projects and delay graduation. This study aims to develop a chatbot using a Large Language Model (LLM) integrated with WhatsApp as an interactive and efficient solution for academic reference search. A total of 795 classified thesis documents were collected from the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Informatics, UHAMKA. The system was built using the LangChain framework, including Setting Table Schema, Semantic Search, Rank Result, and Natural Language Interface for Databases. Implementation results showed that the chatbot successfully responded to natural language queries with 100% accuracy. User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) evaluations indicated strong positive responses, with Clarity (2.08) and Accuracy (2.00) achieving “Excellent” ratings indicate high levels of efficiency in conducting thesis searches. This research demonstrates the effective application of LLMs in conversational academic search systems and offers a foundation for the development of similar services in other higher education institutions.

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes has become an increasingly alarming global issue, in line with the growing use of social media. This study aims to develop a mobile application system for automatic hoax detection using a Natural Language Processing (NLP) approach by leveraging the XLM-RoBERTa model. The system development process follows the CRISP-DM methodology and the Agile approach. The dataset used consists of 1,928 verified news articles, divided into training and testing data. The model architecture is designed by adding three hierarchical classification layers, consisting of linear layers, batch normalization, ReLU activation, and a dropout rate of 0.4, with the [CLS] token as the main representation for classification. Optimization is performed using the Adam algorithm with a learning rate of 0.001. To enhance the interpretability of the classification results, the system is equipped with an explainability feature based on TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity. The model is integrated into a Flutter-based mobile application with a REST API backend developed using the Flask framework, enabling real-time news analysis. The application provides outputs in the form of prediction labels (hoax/fact), confidence scores, and a summary of the news content. Evaluation results show that the model achieves an accuracy of 94.51%, indicating excellent performance in identifying hoax news automatically and efficiently. By integrating this intelligent model into a mobile application, the system is expected to help users quickly and reliably assess the truthfulness of information, thereby contributing to efforts to mitigate the spread of hoaxes in the digital era.

Abstract

Sistem pengaduan masyarakat yang masih menggunakan metode manual seringkali tidak efektif, kurang transparan, dan memerlukan waktu lama dalam penanganannya. Studi ini dilakukan untuk merancang sistem pengaduan masyarakat berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) guna meningkatkan efisiensi pelaporan, analisis spasial, dan transparansi dalam penanganan pengaduan. Untuk mengembangkan sistem ini, diterapkan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan teknologi Laravel sebagai backend, MySQL sebagai basis data, serta Leaflet.js untuk visualisasi peta interaktif. Masyarakat dapat melaporkan permasalahan dengan mencakup lokasi kejadian dan tingkat urgensi, sementara administrator, dalam hal ini pengurus RT/RW, dapat memverifikasi laporan serta menentukan prioritas penanganan berbasis analisis spasial. Pengujian menggunakan metode Black Box Testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur utama, seperti pengiriman laporan, validasi data, pemrosesan pengaduan, serta ekspor laporan ke dalam bentuk PDF, berfungsi sesuai spesifikasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa integrasi GIS dalam sistem pengaduan masyarakat mampu meningkatkan efektivitas, mempercepat respon, serta memberikan visualisasi berbasis peta yang lebih informatif bagi pengelola dan masyarakat. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan pengaduan masyarakat dapat ditangani secara lebih sistematis, transparan, dan efisien, mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial dan lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the IT governance implementation in the computer laboratory at XYZ Institution using COBIT 2019 framework. Based on the scope and the problems that were identified, BAI and DSS aspects are the domains chosen to measure the implementation of the IT governance. The methods for this research are focus group discussion and field assessment. The BAI and DSS domains consist of 16 objectives, which are then divided into 104 practices and then divided further into 535 activities. These 535 activities are the processes that we have to determine for each capability level. After determining the capability levels for each process, we summarized the values and then evaluated the average values for each objective. These average values are the values that we used to determine the capability levels for each objective. We presented the result of our self assessment using a radar diagram. XYZ Institution is still in the starting phase of having good IT governance. This condition is reflected by the achievement of each objective’s capability levels ranging from 1 to 2. In addition to this condition, there is only one objective that meets the Institution’s capability level target of 3.

Abstract

 Technological advancements have transformed shopping patterns from conventional to online, yetmany businesses still lack an effective e-commerce platform. This research aims to develop awebsite-based e-commerce system for clothing stores using ReactJS. The system developmentemploys the Waterfall method with stages of design, implementation, and testing. The design utilizesUse Case Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams, while testing is conducted using Black Box Testingmethodology. The result of this research is an e-commerce platform that simplifies transactions,product management, and customer management, thereby increasing business efficiency and digitalmarket reach effectively and efficiently. This platform also provides customers with a moreconvenient and faster online shopping experience.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMKN 10 Kota Bekasi terhadap teknologi informasi dasar melalui pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui pendekatan interaktif dalam perancangan dan pelaksanaan pelatihan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian. Identifikasi kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa dilakukan melalui survei awal, yang kemudian menjadi dasar pengembangan materi pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman siswa setelah mengikuti pelatihan, dengan rata-rata kenaikan sebesar 25%. Analisis berdasarkan tingkat kelas mengungkapkan bahwa pembelajaran efektif terjadi ketika siswa secara aktif terlibat dalam pembentukan pengetahuan mereka melalui interaksi dengan materi pelajaran dan partisipasi dalam aktivitas pembelajaran praktis. Kesimpulan ini membuka peluang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam konteks pembelajaran teknologi informasi dasar di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bukan hanya memberikan pemahaman lebih dalam tentang pengaruh pelatihan, tetapi juga menunjukkan arah menuju perbaikan dan peningkatan pembelajaran teknologi informasi dasar di SMKN 10 Kota Bekasi.
