Abstract

Character education has become a primary focus in fostering student development in Indonesia, particularly at the elementary level in madrasahs, due to the increasing cases of moral degradation in the school environment. This study aims to analyze the integration of character education into the madrasah curriculum through a conceptual review that incorporates theories, policies, and previous research findings. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach centered on literature review and content analysis. The findings reveal that the incorporation of spiritual and humanistic values serves as a fundamental basis for developing comprehensive character formation, encompassing moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral acting as proposed by Lickona, as well as the process of moral reasoning development according to Kohlberg. The love-based curriculum (KBC) is considered a strategic approach to overcoming the weaknesses of traditional character education, which has been overly focused on cognitive and normative aspects. This curriculum model emphasizes compassion, empathy, and the internalization of values through meaningful learning experiences. The study concludes that policy support, teacher training, and madrasah culture are crucial to ensuring the effective implementation of character education in madrasahs. Further empirical studies are required to examine the effectiveness of this integrative model within the learning context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of madrasah principals’ leadership styles on teachers’ motivation and performance. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature study. The discussion covers four leadership styles: authoritarian, charismatic, laissez-faire, and democratic. The findings indicate that the authoritarian style tends to reduce teachers’ motivation and long-term performance, while charismatic leadership can enhance both through inspiration and emotional support. The laissez-faire style is effective for independent teachers but may weaken motivation for those who require guidance. Meanwhile, the democratic style provides the most positive impact as it encourages participation, creativity, and a sense of ownership in the workplace. Therefore, an appropriate leadership style plays an essential role in improving teachers’ motivation and performance in madrasah settings. Keywords: Leadership Style, Work Motivation, Teacher Performance   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala madrasah terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi literatur. Pembahasan mencakup empat gaya kepemimpinan: otoriter, karismatik, laissez-faire, dan demokratis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa gaya otoriter cenderung menurunkan motivasi dan kinerja jangka panjang, sedangkan kepemimpinan karismatik mampu meningkatkan keduanya melalui inspirasi dan dukungan emosional. Gaya laissez-faire efektif bagi guru yang mandiri, tetapi dapat melemahkan motivasi bagi guru yang membutuhkan arahan. Adapun gaya demokratis memberikan dampak paling positif karena mendorong partisipasi, kreativitas, dan rasa memiliki dalam bekerja. Dengan demikian, gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi serta kinerja guru di lingkungan madrasah. Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the concepts, strategies, and implications of the integration of Islamic religious values in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning on health material at the elementary school level. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Karangcengis with PJOK Teachers, PAI Teachers, and students as subjects, collecting data through triangulation methods (observation, interviews, and documentation studies) and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results show that this integration focuses on the internalization of two dominant values: Thaharah (cleanliness) and Tawazun (moderation/balance), which are implemented through consistent modeling strategies and reinforcement of spiritual narratives by teachers. The key finding is a significant increase in students' discipline and personal responsibility for their health, because the intrinsic spiritual motivation that arises from the internalization of values is proven to be much more effective as a mediating factor, successfully bridging health knowledge to concrete actions (healthy living behavior) that is sustainable. Therefore, this study concludes that the integration of religious values is an effective holistic learning strategy and proposes a new theoretical modification that emphasizes the role of spiritual motivation as a key driver of healthy behavior change in elementary school-aged children, supporting the strengthening of the eight dimensions of the graduate profile.

Abstract

The rapid progression of digital disruption necessitates that Islamic educational institutions transform their governance and quality management systems to remain responsive. This study analyzes the resilience of Islamic education quality through three core dimensions: policy adaptation, institutional readiness, and quality sustainability. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach at SDIT Cita Mulia Ajibarang, data were gathered through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation involving school leadership and IT coordinators. The results reveal that policy adaptation is executed through internal regulatory updates and digital platform integration. Institutional readiness remains varied due to infrastructure disparities and fluctuating teacher digital literacy. Quality sustainability is pursued through continuous professional development and the internalisation of Islamic values as an ethical framework for technology use. Quality resilience is constructed through the synergy of strategic innovation, systematic quality assurance, and technology utilization. This research formulates a conceptual framework for quality resilience at the primary school level that integrates managerial and cultural dimensions, moving beyond previous studies that focused primarily on partial technical adoption.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di Raudlotul Athfal As Sholeh Cilacap. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai praktik kepemimpinan dan dinamika kerja guru di lingkungan lembaga pendidikan dasar Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional yang diterapkan kepala sekolah memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Kepala sekolah mampu membangun visi yang jelas, memberikan motivasi, menciptakan hubungan interpersonal yang positif, serta mendorong inovasi dan kreativitas dalam proses pembelajaran. Penerapan reward dan punishment yang konsisten juga memperkuat tanggung jawab dan profesionalisme guru dalam melaksanakan tugas. Penelitian ini memperkaya kajian mengenai kepemimpinan transformasional pada tingkat pendidikan paling dasar, yaitu Raudlotul Athfal, yang selama ini masih jarang diteliti. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa praktik kepemimpinan transformasional berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged schools to increasingly maximize the role of public relations management in building a positive image through the use of digital media. This study aims to examine the digital public relations strategies implemented by schools to strengthen their reputations, expand public communication, and increase information reach. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study explores digital public relations practices through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis at schools that actively manage social media and websites as their primary communication channels. The research findings indicate that consistent digital publications, engaging content presentation, and professional social media management can significantly increase school visibility. Furthermore, two-way interaction with the public through comments, private messages, and virtual activities has been shown to strengthen emotional bonds and increase public trust in schools. Digital public relations strategies also contribute to the formation of a positive image through neat visual displays, inspiring narratives, and the rapid and accurate delivery of information. This study confirms that the success of public relations management in the digital era is greatly influenced by the quality of content, the consistency of publications, and the school's ability to utilize communication technology. The research results provide theoretical contributions to the development of educational public relations studies and offer practical recommendations for schools to improve the quality of digital communication. Thus, digital public relations strategies are a crucial effort in building a sustainable positive school image amidst the increasingly rapid development of information technology.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah elemen krusial dalam pertumbuhan individu dan Masyarakat. Fungsi Pendidikan tidak hanya sebatas sebagai media transfer pengetahuan, namun juga sebagai cara untuk membangun nilai-nilai moral dan etika. Dalam lingkup pembelajaran agama Islam dan budi pekerti, hal ini tidak hanya terfokus pada aspek teori, tetapi juga menggabungkan praktik kehidupan sehari-hari dan pemahaman kontekstual terhadap ajaran agama, termasuk keterampilan sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dalam mata pelajaran PAI dan BP, serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa di SMK Mulya Husada Purwokerto. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X Farmasi 1 dan guru mata pelajaran PAI dan BP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe STAD berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa melalui tiga fase utama : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Siswa memperlihatkan peningkatan dalam keterampilan sosial seperti kemampuan berkomunikasi dan kerja sama tim. Penelitian ini menarik kesimpulan bahwa model STAD sesuai dengan konteks kelas dan dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mata pelajaran PAI dan BP.
