Abstract

Electronics and furniture are now a necessity that is in great demand by the public. These products are chosen because they have various important functions in everyday life. The many benefits of electronics and furniture make many people want to have them. However, in reality, not everyone has enough funds to buy them. An alternative that is commonly used by the public is to take out credit, allowing them to have electronics and furniture without having to pay in full up front. However, the credit process is not as easy as a cash purchase, because there are a number of procedures that must be followed by the applicant. PT. Interyasa Mitra Mandiri faces several obstacles in assessing the eligibility of credit recipients which are still done manually, so it takes a long time to process the data. In this problem, the researcher uses four criteria that will be compared later, whether prospective consumers can be said to be eligible to receive credit, including collateral in the form of BPKB or other valuable documents that can be used if later there are problems with bad credit or others, type of work, income, and completeness of administration. Decision support systems have been widely applied in the fields of education, health, finance and even in the world of business and management. The working process of this decision support system greatly helps leaders in making decisions because the results obtained are more accurate because they are in accordance with the criteria of each interest. The purpose of the research conducted is to facilitate leaders in analyzing the feasibility of prospective electronic and furniture debtor customers using predetermined criteria, and to apply the Moora method as a method that can assist in the process of determining the feasibility of prospective customers who receive credit applications.

Abstract

The digestive system is the most important organ in the human body, especially in children. Food and drinks that enter a child's body will become a source of nutrition for the child's growth and development. In this day and age, there are still many parents who pay little attention to food hygiene and carelessly give food to their children, causing digestive problems in children. Parents' lack of knowledge about the symptoms of digestive disorders means that parents do not know what to do for quick treatment to overcome the problem of digestive disorders. With this expert system, it is hoped that it can help parents recognize the symptoms of digestive disorders and be able to treat them quickly. This expert system was created using the Forward Chaining inference method and determining the level of certainty using the Certainty Factor method. The Forward Chaining method is an approach used to conclude information based on facts that have been previously collected. Meanwhile, the Certainty Factor method works by reasoning like an expert and then showing the value of a measure of certainty regarding a fact to obtain a trust value. The result of this research is the formation of an expert system for diagnosing digestive disorders in children so that it can make it easier for parents to get information about the symptoms of digestive disorders in children and can provide quick treatment anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop an artificial intelligence-based book recommendation system to improve the user experience in finding relevant literature in digital libraries. Two main approaches are used: Content-Based Filtering (CBF) and Collaborative Filtering (CF), each of which relies on similar content characteristics and user preference patterns. Research data was collected from book metadata and user interactions at the West Sumatra Regional Library. Test results show that a hybrid approach of CBF and CF can improve recommendation accuracy by up to 92%, compared to using either method alone. This research contributes to the development of modern library information systems that are adaptive to user needs.Keywords: recommendation system, artificial intelligence, digital library, content-based filtering, collaborative filtering.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi buku berbasis kecerdasan buatan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dalam menemukan literatur yang relevan di perpustakaan digital. Dua pendekatan utama yang digunakan adalah Content-Based Filtering (CBF) dan Collaborative Filtering (CF), yang masing-masing mengandalkan kesamaan karakteristik konten dan pola preferensi pengguna. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dari metadata buku serta interaksi pengguna di Perpustakaan Daerah Sumatera Barat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan hybrid antara CBF dan CF mampu meningkatkan akurasi rekomendasi hingga 92%, dibandingkan penerapan metode tunggal. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan sistem informasi perpustakaan modern yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna.Kata kunci: sistem rekomendasi, kecerdasan buatan, perpustakaan digital, content-based filtering, collaborative filtering.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged the widespread use of digital information systems among junior high school students. However, the utilization of these technologies is not always accompanied by adequate understanding of responsible, safe, and ethical use. This community service activity aims to improve students’ digital literacy through education on the wise use of digital information systems. The methods employed include counseling sessions, interactive training, and simulations of relevant digital applications. The materials covered include an introduction to digital information systems, digital ethics, personal data security, as well as the positive and negative impacts of digital technology usage. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of the importance of using digital information systems wisely, as reflected in their increased awareness of data security and responsible technology use. Therefore, this activity is expected to contribute to the development of a generation that is smart, critical, and responsible in utilizing digital technology in the information era

Abstract

The high dropout rate in Asahan Regency has become a serious problem affecting the quality of human resources and equitable access to education across various regions. This study aims to identify patterns and characteristics of dropout-prone areas using the K-Means clustering technique. The research method involves collecting dropout data from the Asahan Regency Education Office for the period 2022–2025, followed by data pre-processing for cleaning and normalization, and then clustering analysis to generate three regional clusters based on dropout vulnerability levels. The results indicate that clusters with high dropout rates are largely influenced by economic factors, followed by limited access to education and social conditions in the community. The resulting regional segmentation provides a spatial overview of dropout vulnerability levels in Asahan Regency. These findings offer data-driven insights that can support the formulation of more targeted education policies and programs to encourage inclusive education development in the region. Scientifically, this study contributes to strengthening the validity and effectiveness of the K-Means algorithm as a quantitative approach in mapping and identifying complex patterns in socio-educational data, thereby expanding its application in data-driven analytical studies in the field of education.

Abstract

To meet the needs of Saudara Pharmacy, there will be an Android-based sales information system that uses the Waterfall method to manage the sales of medicines and other health products. Need analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance are the stages of the Waterfall method, chosen because of its systematic and sequential approach. This method makes it easy for the developer team to ensure that each stage of development is well completed before proceeding to the next stage. Information is collected about the operational needs of Saudara Pharmacy at the stage of needs analysis. This data is used to create a system that can monitor the stock of drugs, automate the sales process, and provide direct sales reports. The easy-to-use Android application to implement allows pharmacy employees to perform sales transactions quickly and accurately. Drug barcode scanning, inventory management, sales transaction recording, and the creation of daily sales reports are the main features of this app. The system is tested to ensure that the application works properly and has no errors. In addition, user feedback is collected and studied to enable improvements and features. It is expected that the Android-based Sales Information System at Saudara Pharmacy will improve operational efficiency, reduce sales recording errors, and provide accurate data for management to make decisions. Moreover, the system will increase customer satisfaction by providing faster and more accurate services.
