Abstract

Proriasis is a type of chronic disease of the human skin.problem of psoriasis At the end of the day, theis becoming more interesting because the main cause of this disease has not been found, which has only been found while the cause of psoriasis is genetics. Because the cause is not known for sure, this disease is difficult to cure. Although this disease is not contagious and life-threatening to sufferers, it can damage internal organs if not handled properly. This study aims to determine the level of accuracy in identifying psoriasis in humans. There are several types of symptoms that refer to psoriasis. Furthermore, the data is processed manually with themethod Case Based Reasoning and continued by using a-based expert system software website. The processing stage is to use theprocess, which retrieve is a process of finding the similarities between new cases and existing cases in the knowledge base. The results of the data processing are continued with the calculation of the level of accuracy. The result of testing this method is that there are 100% of the 12 test data. Based on the accuracy of the identification results of this system, this study is very precise in the level of identifying the level of accuracy of psoriasis in humans. Expert testing system has been able to identify thedisease psoriasis specific. Through thismethod Case Based Reasoning , the level of accuracy that can be obtained is quite accurate and can help skin and genital specialists in improving accuracy in identifyingdiseases Case Based Reasoning in humans.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Internet of Things (IoT) usage in attendance management and productivity monitoring on employee performance and operational efficiency in the manufacturing industry of Central Java. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 270 respondents and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that IoT-driven systems in both attendance management and productivity monitoring have a significant positive effect on employee performance and operational efficiency. Specifically, IoT-enabled attendance management improves workforce accountability and discipline, while productivity monitoring enhances real-time feedback and workflow optimization. These findings highlight the critical role of IoT technology in transforming workforce and operational management in manufacturing, contributing to improved performance and efficiency. The study provides valuable insights for decision-makers in the manufacturing industry regarding the adoption of IoT technologies to enhance competitiveness and operational outcomes.

Abstract

Technology and economic development raise the importance of English ability for specific fields of work, including Nautical Merchant Vessel. In order to prepare the graduates, Nautical Merchant Vessel department of Maritime Vocational High Schools Padang provides Maritime English subject. In fact, its implementation does not give a significant contribution to improving graduates’ English ability. The learning materials do not fulfill the students’ needs so that learning materials development was carried out through research and development. The research used ADDIE model research procedure. The data was obtained through conducting interviews and spreading questionnaires to students, teachers, and three deck officers and experts. Needs analysis found English skills, teaching methodology, new topics, and language focus which are appropriate for the students. The content then was designed and developed based on learning centered approach which leads the students are not only mastering language knowledge but also content knowledge. The learning materials were presented in printed form and e-learning which supported by attractive illustrations and videos as the implementation of website. It can be accessed for inside and outside the classroom so that the students can keep interaction during their learning anytime and anywhere. This developed learning material has been assessed as valid and recommended by experts through validation judgment.

Abstract

Writing is a process of transferring your ideas in written form. It is not an easy thing to do because there are some rules that we should follow in order to make our messages deliver to the reader. The aim of this study is to investigate the use of Story Bird application in teaching writing. This research belongs to descriptive library research by analysis the content of documents. It can be seen that storybird as a web 2.0 tool is really appropriate to use in writing classroom. It offers some advantages including the allowing collaborative work, easy to organize work, allowing students to publish their work that can increase their motivation to write. This research is recommended to use in teaching writing.

Abstract

Excellent Lecturers are human resources (HR) that are very necessary in the world of education so that they can educate students to become superior human resources. Apart from that, all universities in Indonesia play an active role in improving the quality of education. One important factor that determines the quality of education in higher education is the quality of the lecturers who teach. Excellent lecturers are lecturers who are sought after and needed by all universities. However, in reality, the lecturer recruitment process in educational institutions often experiences obstacles, such as inaccurate decisions, errors in decision making, and late decision making. This can affect the quality of education provided and the effectiveness of the educational institution itself. Therefore, selecting superior and qualified lecturers is very important. So, we need a decision support system to help the recruitment process for superior lecturers more effectively and efficiently. Manual decision making in the recruitment process is considered less objective and can result in decisions that are not in accordance with wishes. The Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method is a method that can be used to assist decision making in deciding which superior lecturers to recruit. The urgency of this research is to help make decisions effectively and efficiently. The aim of this research is to build a decision support system for the lecturer recruitment process using the web-based Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong setiap perusahaan untuk terus berinovasi, termasuk dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia. Suatu tahapan krusial yang bisa diterapkan ialah digitalisasi fungsi Human Resources Development (HRD) melalui penerapan sistem informasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana penerapan sistem informasi HRD dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan SDM di Wahana Express. Metode yang diterapkan ialah studi kasus kualitatif melalui teknik pengambilan data berformat wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Temuan studi ini menjabarkan bahwa sistem informasi yang diterapkan mampu mempermudah proses kerja tim HRD, seperti administrasi karyawan, rekrutmen, pelatihan, hingga penilaian kinerja. Proses yang sebelumnya memakan waktu dan rentan kesalahan menjadi lebih cepat, akurat, dan terorganisir. Digitalisasi ini juga mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih relevan sebab didasari oleh data yang real-time dan terintegrasi. Kesimpulannya, pemanfaatan sistem informasi dalam fungsi HRD berperan besar dalam menciptakan efisiensi sekaligus mendorong peran strategis HRD di era digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya peningkatan kapasitas digital bagi staf serta pengembangan sistem yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Mentawai Fast merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang layanan transportasi laut dengan rute Padang–Kepulauan Mentawai. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah proses pemesanan tiket yang masih dilakukan secara manual, mengharuskan calon penumpang datang langsung ke agen untuk membeli tiket. Hal ini menyebabkan efisiensi waktu dan akurasi data menjadi kurang optimal. Penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi berupa pengembangan sistem informasi pemesanan tiket kapal cepat berbasis web untuk mempermudah transaksi dan pengelolaan data. Metode yang digunakan adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), dengan tahapan perencanaan, analisis, perancangan sistem dan perangkat lunak, serta implementasi. Perancangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan alat bantu Unified Modeling Language (UML), mencakup use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode blackbox untuk memastikan fungsionalitas berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil memproses pemesanan tiket secara daring, menampilkan informasi ketersediaan dan jadwal kapal, serta mendukung pengelolaan data transaksi oleh admin. Sistem ini juga terbukti mampu mempercepat proses transaksi dan mengurangi kesalahan input data yang sebelumnya sering terjadi pada proses manual. Sistem informasi berbasis web ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan pemesanan tiket pada Mentawai Fast.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia pemrograman yang pesat membuat pemilihan bahasa pemrograman menjadi faktor penting dalam pengembangan aplikasi. Java dan JavaScript merupakan dua bahasa yang sering digunakan, namun memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan performa kedua bahasa tersebut dalam mengimplementasikan beberapa algoritma dasar, yaitu Bubble Sort, Merge Sort, Linear Search, Binary Search, Fibonacci, dan Faktorial. Pengujian dilakukan berdasarkan beberapa parameter, seperti waktu eksekusi, efisiensi penggunaan memori, jumlah baris kode, serta kemudahan dalam penulisan dan implementasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Java cenderung lebih unggul dalam hal kecepatan eksekusi dan efisiensi memori, terutama untuk algoritma yang kompleks dan rekursif. Di sisi lain, JavaScript lebih unggul dalam hal fleksibilitas, sintaks yang ringkas, dan kemudahan dalam implementasi, terutama untuk pengembangan yang cepat seperti prototyping. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada bahasa yang sepenuhnya lebih baik, karena masing-masing memiliki kelebihan yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan proyek dan konteks penggunaannya.

Abstract

Program magang merupakan bagian penting dalam proses pembelajaran di Politeknik LP3I Kampus Padang, yang dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan pengalaman langsung di dunia kerja. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah kurangnya sistem yang terintegrasi untuk memantau perkembangan mahasiswa selama magang. Usaha ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan mesin catatan berbasis web yang memungkinkan pemantauan perkembangan siswa secara real-time dan efisien. Uji coba ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif, penggunaan metode pengumpulan data beserta evaluasi literatur, komentar subjek, dan wawancara. Hasil studi ini berupa tata letak sistem statistik yang dirancang khusus untuk pelanggannya, yang terdiri dari mahasiswa, supervisor akademik, dan pejabat perguruan tinggi. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat membantu meningkatkan efektivitas pemantauan, mempermudah komunikasi, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pelaksanaan program magang.

Abstract

During the socialization of five hundred students spread across several campuses, namely: for ten days at Langlangbuana University, Syedza Saintika University, Muhammadiyah University of Luwuk, Mandaling Natal State Islamic College, and Tamansiswa University Palembang. These eight characteristics, which are among the materials used in the author's outreach program, are hoped to serve as a primary reference for finding accredited and high-quality academic journals and helping to avoid predatory journals. The author sincerely hopes that participants in this outreach program will improve their reading literacy, enhance their thinking paradigms, and enhance the quality of their writing.
