Abstract

Pembelajaran wajib yang harus diikuti oleh siswa tunagrahita yaitu pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, dimana dimulai dari pembelajaran mengenal huruf. Di sekolah SLBN Padangsidimpuan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak tunagrahita masih sangat rendah. Dilakukanlah penelitian pada anak tunagrahita kelas IV SLBN Padangsidimpuan sebanyak dua orang siswa dengan inisial R, dan Z yang kemampuan mengenal huruf nya masih rendah. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak tunagrahita melalui media kereta huruf. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Siklus I terdiri dari empat kali pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari empat kali pertemuan. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peningkatan mulai kemampuan awal anak dari R 50% dan Z 55% kemudian diberikan tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi R 65% dan Z 60%, kemudian dilanjutkan pada siklus II kemampuan anak semakin meningkat menjadi R 83% dan Z 86%

Abstract

This study discusses how to improve early reading skills by usingflashcard media for third grade autistic children at SLBN TanjungJabung Timur. This type of research uses classroom action research.The problem behind this research is the class III SLBN TanjungJabung Timur the inability of children to learn to read early and thelevel of concentration and sitting endurance of autistic children is lowand lacks interest in learning to read. This research will be carried out in two cycles, in each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used is in the form of observation, documentation, and action. The results obtained by students in two cycles are 83.3%, in the first cycle the action gets 62.5% and in the second cycle the score is 83.3%. Based on these data, the conclusion obtained is that children experience an increase in initial reading through flashcard media

Abstract

This research is motivated by a deaf student in seventh grade who truly lacks of vocabulary. Therefore, it is really needed for the student, a method or learning media that can enrich vocabulary. By doing this research, it can be proven that word square as teaching media can enrich the vocabulary for the deaf student in seventh grade in SLBN 1 Bukittinggi. The Method that is used is single subject researh (ssr) with A-B-A design through graphic visual data analysis. The result of the research shows that, from the analysis of sixteen meetings, on baseline (A1) condition it shows 10%, 16,66%, 16,66%, 16,66%. In the intervention  condition (B) , it results 66,66%, 70%, 83,33%, 93,33%, 93,33%, 96,66%, 96,66%, 96,66%.. In the last condition, which is baseline (A2) it results 96,66%, 96,66%, 96,66%, 96,66%. The result of this research states that word square learning media can enrich vocabulary, which is noun for the deaf student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kemampuan mengetik sepuluh jari menggunakan metode drill yang berbasis Microsoft word pada anak tunarungu di SLBN 2 Padang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak tunarungu di kelas X SLBN 2 Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen A-B-A dan metodologi penelitian subjek tunggal. Tiga kondisi membentuk desain A-B-A: Baseline (A), Intervensi (B), dan Baseline (A2). Daftar periksa digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pengujian tindakan, wawancara, dan pengamatan selama proses pengumpulan data. Melalui penggunaan alat analisis visual grafis, data penelitian diperiksa. Kapasitas untuk mengetik dengan sepuluh jari meningkat setelah intervensi atau pengobatan dalam bentuk metode drill, sesuai dengan temuan penelitian.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that can occur in a variety of environments, including Special Schools. Children with special needs are vulnerable to becoming victims of bullying. If not prevented and handled properly, it has a negative impact on the physical, mental, and academic achievement of children. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of violence prevention and handling teams in Special Schools in overcoming bullying. The method used in research is qualitative descriptive. The sample in this study was Special School teachers spread across the West Sumatra region. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed interactively by reducing data, displaying, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the existence of a Violence Prevention and Handling Team plays an important role in handling bullying cases that occur in Special Schools

Abstract

Organic fertilizers have been popular lately because they are believed to increase agricultural yields and are environmentally friendly. With the increasing popularity of fertilizer use, farmers have innovated to make their organic fertilizers using materials available in their surroundings. The problem experienced by farmers is regarding the testing of the fertilizer produced. This community service activity aims to assist farmers in testing fertilizers in the laboratory and provide insight into testing the effectiveness of fertilizers in Jorong Arikia, Nagari Dalko, Agam Regency, aided by 39 students from Padang State University. Assistance is carried out through discussions related to fertilizers, then continued with preparing for testing and assisting in testing fertilizers. The results of this community service activity are increasing farmers' insight in testing organic fertilizers so that the fertilizers produced can optimize harvest results, be certified, and be produced on a large scale to encourage economic growth in the region. In addition, this PkM activity also aims to provide a forum for UNP students who are carrying out community service program activities to be able to practice the knowledge they have gained on campus in the field. Thus, this PkM program is directly integrated with campus activities and is expected to develop further in the future so as to provide a greater contribution to society.

Abstract

The research was conducted based on problems that found in class IX of  SLB Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir, and the students GA and GE as background who felt troble about making the A Line skirt pattern . The research purposes of this action are to: 1. Determine the process of improving dressmaking skills in making skirt patterns for deaf children in class IX at SLB Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir . 2. Improve teacher skills in developing and varying learning methods . 3. Make students to be able to make skirt patterns. This study uses self-regulated learning with a type of classroom action research conducted form of collaboration with friends. The research subjects were class IX deaf children. In this study the data obtained through observation and practical research were analyzed qualitative and quantitative. The research activity was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The activity begins with planning, implementing of the actions, observing and reflecting. The results of the research before being given the action showed the initial ability of deaf children to make dress patterns in skirt patterns, GA got a value of 37.14%, while GE got 32.85%. In the first cycle there was an increase, GA got a value of 81.43% and GE got a value of 81.43%. In the end of second cycle, the students value be drastically increased GA scored 100% and GE also scored 100%. Based on the increase in the value in each cycle, it can be concluded that the application of self-regulated learning in children's learning of dressmaking skills can improve student’s abilities in making skirt patterns for deaf children class IX at SLB Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir.
