Abstract

Review ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji interaksi yang terjadi pada berbagai kombinasi minyak atsiri dan pengaruhnya terhadap mikroorganisme perusak pangan. Adanya faktor mikrobiologis menyebabkan pangan segar rawan untuk mengalami penurunan kualitas, sehingga dibutuhkan peran agen antimikroba untuk melindunginya dari mikroorganisme perusak pangan. Salah satu agen antimikroba yang dapat berperan sebagai pengawet pangan alami adalah minyak atsiri. Namun, untuk memberikan aktivitas antimikroba yang efektif dibutuhkan penambahan minyak atsiri dengan konsentrasi yang tinggi sehingga dapat mempengaruhi aroma, rasa, dan penerimaan konsumen. Hal ini dapat ditangani dengan mengkombinasikan minyak atsiri yang memberikan efek sinergis. Hasil review menunjukkan kombinasi minyak atsiri yang memberikan efek sinergis dapat menurunkan konsentrasi yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan efek antimikroba yang sama pada penggunaan minyak atsiri invididu. Efek sinergis cenderung terjadi ketika minyak atsiri dikombinasikan dengan komponen yang berbeda. Sedangkan, pengombinasian minyak atsiri dengan komponen utama yang berasal dari kelompok senyawa yang sama cenderung menghasilkan interaksi yang aditif ataupun indiferen. Selain itu, interaksi yang terjadi pada kombinasi minyak atsiri juga turut dipengaruhi oleh jenis bakteri target.

Abstract

The Karo people are one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia, especially in the North Sumatra region. The Karo community has strong traditions when it comes to family ties and marriage. However, in some cases, inter-clan marriages within Karo society have caused strong reactions, leading to the displacement of affected families. This research was conducted to help the younger generation better understand the impact of inter-clan marriages in Karo society. It helps us to understand the internal and external conflicts that occur and their impact on family relationships, social interactions, community and youth support. In addition, this research also aims to identify solution approaches that young people can apply in their lives. Quantitative research methods were used in this study. Qualitative methods, i.e. Collecting and reviewing the quality and accuracy of field survey data and answering questions related to the theory of literature study on the issue. This research concludes that marriage between clans (Turang) is considered a violation of customs and the perpetrator is punished according to the customs of the community and tribe. When an inter-tribal marriage occurs, the children have the same clan and surname and are not automatically accepted by the Karo tribe.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana cara meningkatkan keterampilan vikasional membuat hiasan kaligrafi dari manik-manik bagi anak tunagrahita ringan dengan model direct instruction. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SLB Luak Nan Bungsu Payakumbuh. Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah di kelas V SLB Luak Nan Bungsu sudah pernah belajar tentang bagaimana cara membuat keterampilan dari manik-manik akan tetapi terdapat anak yang belum teraampil dalam membuat hiasan kaligrafi dari manik-manik tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, seriap siklusnya terdiri dari: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes perbuatan. Adapun hasil yang di peroleh anak menggunakan dua siklus yaitu nilai MI pada tindakan siklus I yaitu 68%, dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 94%, sementara anak RA memperoleh nilai pada siklus I yaitu 64%, dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 92%, selanjutnya anak RP pada siklus I memperoleh nilai sebanyak 72% dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 96%. Berdasarkan dari data diatas, kesimpulan dari keterampilan membuat hiasan kaligrafi dari manik-manik mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan melalui model direct instruction.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of lemongrass leaf extract (Cymbopogon citratus) against Streptococcus mutans and Escherchia coli bacteria. This research method uses a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 repeats. The treatments are: P1 (negative control), P2 (10% concentration), P3 (20% concentration), P4 (30% concentration), P5 (40% concentration), P6 (50% concentration) and P7 (Amoxicillin positive control). The results showed that the concentration of lemongrass leaf extract (Cymbopogon citratus) has activity to inhibit the growth of Streptococcus mutans and Escherchia coli bacteria. The results of the statistical analysis of the Kruskall Wallis test showed a significant value of 0.008 or <0.05, so it can be said that there is a dose of lemongrass leaves (Cymbopogon citratus) against the growth of Streptococcus mutans bacteria. The processed data using the Kruskall Wallis test on Escherchia coli bacteria showed a significant value of 0.002 or <0.05, so it can be said that there is a dose of lemongrass leaves (Cymbopogon citratus) against Escherchia coli bacteria. Further tests (Duncan Test) found that there was no significant difference between one concentration and another, so it can be said that the optimum concentration of lemongrass leaf extract treatment (Cymbopogon citratus) in inhibiting the growth of Streptococcus mutans and Escherchia coli bacteria is at a concentration of 50%

Abstract

This research aims to carry out a semiotic analysis of gender inequality in the "Gretek Girl" film series. In this context, gender inequality is understood as a visual and narrative representation that depicts differences in roles and characteristics between men and women. The analysis method uses a qualitative approach by utilizing Roland Barthes' semiotic concepts to identify visual and narrative symbols that represent gender inequality in the series. Data was collected through in-depth observation of episodes selected purposively. The research results show that "Cretek Girl" uses various traditional gender symbols and stereotypes in depicting its characters. Women tend to be depicted in roles that are more traditional and related to domestic roles, while men are often presented in more powerful and influential contexts. This representation is reflected in the use of body language, the placement of characters in the frame, and the use of colors that depict existing gender conventions. This research underlines the importance of understanding how audiovisual media can influence people's perceptions of gender, and highlights the need to advocate for gender equality in mass media production. The implications of this research indicate the need for a critique of gender representation in the media as well as a call for further research that integrates other approaches to explore the impact of these representations more comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of learning media assisted by the VN application for identifying information in explanatory texts in class XI MIPA-1 MAS at Univa Project Medan, based on evaluations from media and material experts. The student population included classes XI MIPA-1, XI MIPA-2, and XI IIS, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. Utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the research indicated that the VN application-based learning media effectively facilitated information identification in the explanatory texts, meeting feasibility criteria. Media experts rated the validity at 94%, while material experts rated it at 86%. Teachers' evaluation averaged at 92%, and students responded positively with an average score of 93%. In conclusion, the VN application-supported learning media for identifying information in explanatory texts is valid and suitable for classroom use in class XI MIPA-1 MAS at Univa Project Medan.

Abstract

Perusahaan asuransi syariah menanggung risiko atas kerugian yang mencakup kehilangan, kerusakan dan kecelakaan bagi peserta asuransi yang terikat pada perusahaan asuransi. Peserta yang terjalin dengan perusahaan asuransi bisa mengajukan klaim atas kerugian yang dirasa. Pemeriksaan juga pengkajian terhadap berkas permohonan klaim hingga polis yang menjadi akta perikatan ditinjau perusahaan asuransi yang berperan dalam menilai dan menjamin kerugian perorangan ataupun badan hukum. Oleh karena nya, penolakan klaim dimungkinkan bila tidak sesuai kontrak (akad). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab penolakan klaim asuransi kerugian syariah dan prosedur serta penyelesaian yang dilakukan oleh Asuransi Sinar Mas Kantor Pemasaran Bukittinggi dalam menolak klaim yang diajukan pemohon. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif yang pengumpulan data nya dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada tahap pengkategorisasian hasil wawancara sesuai masalah penelitian dan reduksi data serta penyajian data dalam bentuk naratif guna memahami apa yang terjadi hingga berahir ke tahap penarikan kesimpulan yang menjawab rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian ialah Asuransi Sinar Mas Kantor Pemasaran Bukittinggi menolak penunaian klaim yang dimohon pihak yang terikat dengan Asuransi tersebut disebabkan atas risiko peserta tidak ditangguhkan dalam polis dan estimasi nilai kerugian yang dialami tertanggung di bawah 71% dari harga sebenarnya, kerusakan nya kecil dibandingkan jenis perlindungan Total Loss Only yang menanggung estimasi kerusakan lebih dari 75%, harga sebenarnya. Penolakan klaim dinyatakan dalam surat tolak, tertanggung yang kurang menerima pernyataan tersebut dapat mengkonfimasi ke perusahaan disertai dengan perhitungan rincian estimasi yang dilakukan pemohon. Untuk selanjutnya dicek oleh Asuransi Sinar Mas Kantor Pemasaran Bukittinggi guna diberikan jawaban perihal pelaporannya.

Abstract

The expression of Islam on the Internet is becoming a new phenomenon of enthusiasm for religion in the future, people, especially the younger generation, prefer to use new media to gain religious knowledge, so digital da'wah is now a new demand and trend. Due to their flexibility and ability to be accessed on multiple platforms, podcasts are one of the most popular media today. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the presence of podcasts as a new effective medium of da'wah in the digital era and to understand how this digital technology influences the communication process and its influence on society. The results of the research show that podcasts as a new medium of da'wah have great potential to have an impact positive in increasing religious understanding, strengthening moral values, and promoting peace and tranquility in society. This new media era is also marked by media convergence so that the emergence of interactive media now places audiences as consumers as well as producers of information. The presence of new media makes things easier for humans and the aspects of interactivity and connectivity with the characteristics contained in it

Abstract

The level of understanding of students’ learning in studying physics material deserves attention so that things do not happen that are not in accordance with the realm of concepts set by experts. The concept of physics is indeed fun to learn but it is enough to make students feel difficult when learning every material concept. The cause is the abstract concept of physics and its complicated mathematical calculations, especially in the matter of momentum and impulses. Although several studies state that misconceptions in studying physics concepts can be overcome, they do not last long and will definitely happen again. Therefore, this study aims to identify misconceptions among high school students regarding the concept of momentum and impulse. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The participants in this study were 37 students who were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the Three-tier diagnostic test which is formulated based on the indicators contained in the school curriculum used. The research data were obtained from the results of an analysis of the answers and patterns of students’ answers on the three-tier diagnostic test items. The results of the study showed that it was identified that more than fifty percent of students had misconceptions.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berupa edukasi materi pencegahan stunting, pelatihan deteksi dini stunting dan pelatihan pengolahan ikan menjadi dimsum dan nugget. Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar angka kejadian stunting yang cukup tinggi di Desa Tamangapa dapat menurun. Pelaksanaan Edukasi dan pelatihan ini dilakukan di Aula Desa Tamangapa Kecamatan Ma’rang Kabupaten Pangkep. Pada rangkaian kegiatan ini, metode yang digunakan bukan hanya pemaparan materi pencegahan stunting. Namun, peserta juga dilatih mengukur panjang dan berat badan balita secara benar untuk penentuan stunting. Selain itu, peserta dilatih untuk membuat olahan ikan menjadi dimsum dan nugget yang bergizi. Dengan pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini, diharapkan ilmu yang didapatkan oleh peserta yang juga merupakan kader kesehatan dapat sampai kepada masyarakat luas terkhusus Desa Tamangapa agar, angka kejadian stunting dapat menurun. Kata kunci: Nugget ikan; Dimsum Ikan; Protein Hewani; Stunting
