Abstract

Forests are natural resources that have enormous benefits for the continuity of human life for now and in the future. The community around the forest has a big role in determining the sustainability of the forest because all community activities related to meeting the needs of daily life are very dependent on the existence of the forest. The people's behavior and actions are closely related to the community's perception of the forest. Communities in treating forests are also influenced by their experience and knowledge. Educational Forests or Special Purpose Forest Areas (KHdTK) are areas designated by the government for forestry research and development. University of Muhammadiyah Malang was appointed as the manager of Special Purpose Forest Areas (KHdTK) printed 43A, 44I, 44K-1, 44K-2, and 44L of Kedung Rejo RPH BKPH Pujon KPH Malang where the area is included in the status of production forest area and protected forest. This study aims to determine the perceptions of the surrounding community towards the plan to manage forest areas with specific objectives of UMM in plots 43A, 44I, 44K-1, 44K-2, and 44L, to determine the behavior of surrounding communities towards the plan to manage forest areas with UMM specific objectives in 43A plots, 44I, 44K-1, 44K-2, and 44L. The results of this study indicate that public perceptions of the KHdTK strategic plan by UMM were very well received. There is an inappropriate behavior of the community, namely the farming community in protected forest in 43A, but with prior approval from Perhutani, the behavior in managing the forest always considers the sustainability of the forest and the community always respects the applicable regulations, even though there is behavior that does not comply with the law but the community do that with the approval of Perhutani. The forest is the economic foundation of the surrounding community. In the future, UMM as the manager must be able to work together with the community and restore 43A plots according to their function, namely protected forests and rearranging farmers in KHdTK.

Abstract

The aim of holding a socialization on the application of the independent learning curriculum is to provide an overview of science to Al-Amin Toba Middle School teachers so that they better understand the application of the independent curriculum. curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This activity was attended by Al-Amin Middle School teachers. The methods and forms of community service activities are training, presentations and coaching, with varied lecture techniques accompanied by discussions and questions and answers, as well as assignments. The results of this service resulted in an increase in participants' understanding of the Independent Curriculum. Teachers' understanding of each activity material is in the sufficient category with a percentage of 13.3%. In the good category the percentage is 33.3% and in the very good category the percentage is 53.4%. Socialization and assistance in creating teaching modules for Al-Amin Middle School also shows that teachers have the ability to develop teaching modules. The contribution of community service is to provide an understanding of the Independent Curriculum as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia in accordance with the needs of the times so that students are not only made to be intelligent. However, it also has a character that is in accordance with Pancasila values ​​or what is called the Pancasila Student Profile form

Abstract

The intersection between universal Human Rights (HAM) and Islamic law hasbeen an interesting topic of discussion in recent decades. Human Rights (HAM)were declared in 1948 by the United Nations (UN) General Assembly. HumanRights have become a reference for the international world and influence allaspects of contemporary international relations and law. However, theinterpretation and application of human rights in the national scope are not assmooth as their acceptance. The clash between local culture and law withuniversal human rights is often unavoidable. Islamic law is a product of IslamicSharia which is officially implemented in almost all Muslim countries which arealso members of the UN. Is there a clash between international human rights law and Islamic law and how to resolve it? This paper aims to bridge the gap betweenthese two systems by analyzing the implementation of human rights principles incontemporary Islamic jurisprudence. Despite differences in historicaldevelopment and sources of authority, both human rights and Islamic law havethe same goal, namely to protect human dignity and basic rights. This study willexamine the similarities in values, differences in interpretation, and efforts thathave been made to harmonize these two systems. In addition, this paper will alsoidentify the challenges faced in the harmonization process, and recommend somerecommendations for the future.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of Nearpod as a tool to enhance English and aims to examine students' perceptions of using Nearpod as a learning medium while learning English learning at SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. The findings reveal that Nearpod significantly aids students in improving their English skills, particularly writing, speaking, and vocabulary development. Its interactive features, such as quizzes and gamified activities, make learning more engaging and help students comprehend materials more effectively. Moreover, the app supports memory practice and fosters vocabulary expansion. Students' perceptions of Nearpod were divided into positive and negative. Those with positive perceptions highlighted its motivational, engaging, and task-supportive nature, along with its ability to create a competitive learning atmosphere. Conversely, some students expressed concerns over its reliance on internet connectivity, which limits accessibility in offline settings. Overall, Nearpod proves to be a valuable yet context-dependent resource for English learning.Keywords: perceptions, Nearpod, learning English

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of horizontal communication and compensation on employee morale at the Deli Serdang Food Security Service, both partially and simultaneously. To find out whether employee work discipline moderates the influence of horizontal communication and compensation to employee morale at the Deli Serdang Food Security Service. The population in this study was 69 people, and by using the saturation sampling technique obtained a sample of 69 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and MRA. The results showed that horizontal communication had a significant effect on the morale of the cloud service employees at the Deli Serdang Food Security Service. Compensation affects employee morale at Deli Serdang Food Security Service. The conclusion that can be obtained from the results above is that the moderator has proven significant in influencing horizontal communication on employee morale. The conclusion that can be obtained from the above results is that the moderator is proven to be significant in influencing compensation to employee morale.

Abstract

The rapid growth of urban areas requires the provision of adequate transportation infrastructure so that the mobility of people and goods can run optimally. Complex urban transportation problems require appropriate solutions to support economic development, activities, and transportation movements. Successful transportation development is essential to increase ease of movement, which impacts on the efficiency of time and place. Mass public transport has great economic, social and environmental benefits, but this need has not been met equally. Public transport, as an important part of the national transportation sector, is key in realizing better mobility. One proposed solution is a road-based mass transit purchasing scheme, which can meet transportation needs in a more affordable and sustainable way. The existence of mass transit is particularly relevant in cities characterized by tourism, such as Yogyakarta, to support the tourism sector and the city's economy. Therefore, the development of a physically integrated transportation system, fares, and schedules is necessary to achieve this goal. This research uses quantitative and qualitative mixed methods. The results show that a Buy The Services scheme in road-based mass transit can improve service quality and attract more passengers, provided that the facilities desired by users are in line with their ability to pay. The operational performance of public transportation in Yogyakarta, such as Trans Jogja, has met the Minimum Service Standards (MSS), with good quality indicators. Setting tariffs in accordance with users' ability and desire is important to maintain accessibility and sustainability of services, as well as ensuring optimal operational quality.

Abstract

Pengelolaan obat adalah rangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi perencanaan, pemilihan obat, pengadaan, distribusi, penyimpanan, penggunaan dan pengawasan. Obat yang termasuk kategori High Alert yaitu obat yang terlihat mirip dan kedengarannya mirip (Look Alike Sound Alike/LASA) Elektrolit Konsentrasi Tinggi dan obat-obat Sitostatika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengecek kesesuaian penyimpanan, penandaan, penempatan obat LASA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengelolaan obat LASA di Instalasi Farmasi rawat jalan eksekutif Rumah Sakit Hermina Tangerang Bulan Desember Tahun 2023, Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan gambaran pengelolaan obat LASA bahwa penyimpanan obat LASA mendapatkan persentase kesesuaian 99,91%, Penandaan obat LASA mendapatkan persentase kesesuaian hanya 71,42%, Penempatan obat LASA mendapatkan persentase 71,29%, rata – rata persentase kesesuaian obat LASA sebanyak 80,87% dan ketidaksesuaian sebanyak 19,13%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesesuaian obat LASA di RS Hermina Tangerang dalam kategori baik.
