Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan supaya dapat menyelesaikan masalah rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IX SMP pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis HOTS materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa tes 20 soal pilihan ganda berbasis HOTS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skoring soal two tier multiple choice. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa di SMPN Sekecamatan Maospati. Sampel penelitian menggunakan 177 siswa, yang terdiri dari 60 siswa SMPN Negeri 1 Maospati, 57 siswa SMPN 2 Maospati, dan 60 siswa SMPN 3 Maospati. Pengumpulan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam mengerjakan soal berbasis HOTS kelas IX SMPN yang ada di Kecamatan Maospati berkategori tinggi dengan presentase 11%, berkategori cukup dengan presentase 23%, dan berkategori rendah dengan presentase sebesar 71%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal berbasis HOTS masih rendah. Angket Kuesioner pernyataan sikap siswa dalam berpikir kritis yang digunakan sebagai data pendukung penelitian.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang media tanam hydrogel dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang tanaman sayur dan hias yang dapat direkomendasikan kepada siswa di SDN Purwosari II di dusun wage, Desa Purwosari RT 02/ RW 02 untuk bertanam menggunakan media tanam hydrogel. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di halaman sekolah tersebut dengan jumlah siswa 32. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah dan metode praktik. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini secara garis besar mencakup empat komponen, yakni keberhasilan target jumlah peserta yang hadir, ketercapaian target materi, tingkat antusiasme peserta, dan kemampuan peserta selama mengikuti pelatihan bertanam menggunakan media tanam hidrogel melalui kreasi botol bekas sebagai wadah tanaman hias dan sayur.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to determine the Project based learning model effects students' creative thinking skill when studying ecology material. Learning is an important component in developing competent human resources, including creative skill. Creativity is very important in education because it can help provide students to innovate and solve problems in the future.Method – This research method used was quasi-experimental with design research is post-test only control group. Analysis data test using validity, reliability, homogeneity, and normality. Hypothesis testing uses independent sample t test (t-test). The population used was all 7th grade students at SMPN 1 Pangkur. Samples used are Class 7D & 7F with Cluster random sampling technique. The total sample subjects were 50 with each sample consisting of 25.Findings – The results of the study showed differences in the post-test results of the Project-based learning model. The results of validity test on rcount ? rtable (0.230) on a total of 50 samples so it is declared valid. The results of the Cronbach alpha instrument reliability test are 0.66, which means that the instrument used is reliable, the results of the t table test are tcount (1.677) ? ttable (2.100). Average post-test score between the two experimental classes using Project based learning amounting 41,76 and the control class Dirrect instrucsion model amounting 34,24. Based on the test results, it can be said that creative thinking skills in ecological material has an influence on Project Based Learning model. Research Implications – The Project based learning models are able to influence students to improve their creative thinking skills. This is because the project-based learning approach gives students the chance to engage their imaginations while creating projects and really understand the subjects they are studying, particularly ecology. Thus, It can be conclude the project based learning model has effect on creative thinking.

Abstract

This research aimed at training science education students as a pre-service teacher in constructing assessment instruments of cognitive domain through constructivist classroom. The modification of constructivist classroom in material of cognitive domain test assessment procedures was developed by researcher. The subject of this research were 22 college students semester V of natural science education students at STKIP Modern Ngawi. The research used pre-experimental design with one-shot case study design. The instruments used for analyzing the competences in constructing assessment instruments of cognitive domain was by students learning outcomes completeness sheet. The college students will be said to be complete their competences if they sufficient Criterion Referenced Evaluation specifically more than equal to 75%. Empirically, the result of this research according to the completeness of student learning outcomes as a whole was 85.50% or in a very valid category. It means that natural science education students can construct well assessment instruments of cognitive domain trough constructivist classroom.
