Abstract

The lack of understanding among some students at SDN 10 Sapiran in Bukittinggi city about the cultivation of the literacy movement - especially related to Islamic Religious Education literacy - is the impetus for this research. In addition, only a small number of students use their break time to read books, even though the school has a Reading Corner both in the library and in their respective classes. Instead, students spend their break time playing rather than learning to read Islamic Religious Education enrichment materials in the library. In this study the author used qualitative descriptive techniques. Documentation, interview, and observation were used to collect data. To perform data analysis techniques, explanatory data must be analysed or broken down. Data and information should then be linked to theories and concepts that support related discussions. This explanation should be based on qualitative methods, and conclusions should be drawn from the research problems. The findings of this study show that the literacy process in the School Literacy Movement (GSL) requires mastery of four indicators: reading, listening, writing and transmitting. In the reading activity stage, teachers and students use independent reading techniques by reading the contents of Asmaul Husna from student pack books and other reference books at home. At school, they continue the reading activity by reading the Asmaul Husna material aloud. The second step is listening, where the instructor and students listen to each other, the teacher explains things in front of the class, and students ask questions and the teacher responds.

Abstract

Nowadays the task of the teacher is felt to be getting tougher with the change in the curriculum used, which is to become a Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) with one of the existing learning methods namely Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) learning. A learning using computer aids becomes an important requirement in learning with the CTL system, so it becomes a necessity for teachers to be able to master computer software that can help a learning. Software that can help learning mathematics in the classroom is MATLAB or Matrix Laboratory software, which is currently being used by teachers in mathematics and vocational engineering. To improve the ability of teachers to utilize computers in learning, especially in the use of MATLAB software, a "Training on the Use of Matlab Applications to Increase Teacher Knowledge" was held.

Abstract

This research was motivated because the teaching tools used at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi in the form of teaching modules, in the knowledge assessment component in the form of multiple choice questions and descriptions, found several weaknesses when applied, including: student learning outcomes when the application of assessments in PAI subjects is low, has not reaced KKTP, besides that the knowledge assessment applied by the teacher is less varied and the knowledge assessment applied is less interesting foe students in learning, tends to be monotonous and boring. Therefore, it is necessary to design a Crossword-based PAI Teaching Module that is valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research with the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used are validity, practicality, and effectiveness  sheets in the form of questionnaires. The results showed that the teaching module was valid according to the assessment of 3 experts with an average score of 0.851; (2) the teaching module was very practical according to the assessment of 2 practitioners with a practicality percentage of 90.17%; (3) the teaching module was very effective with a percentage of effectiveness of 89.73%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of storytelling branding on purchase intention, with nostalgia emotion as a mediating variable, using Marjan Syrups Ramadan advertising campaigns over the past three years as the research object. Marjan Syrup, long known as a brand synonymous with Ramadan traditions in Indonesia, has consistently employed storytelling branding strategies to evoke nostalgia among consumers. This research uses a quantitative survey method involving 200 respondents who have seen Marjans Ramadan advertisements in the past three years. The collected data were analyzed using regression and path analysis techniques to examine the relationships between the independent variable (storytelling branding), the mediating variable (nostalgia emotion), and the dependent variable (purchase intention). The results show that storytelling branding positively influences purchase intention, directly and through mediating nostalgia emotion. These findings highlight the importance of emotional narratives in strengthening consumer engagement and driving purchasing behavior, especially in seasonal marketing campaigns.
