Abstract

The need for blood transfusion in the blood bank is urgent and must be available sufficiently. Problems often occur when many people need blood but the available bloodstock is insufficient. Another problem is that the blood type available is not what is needed. Blood donation and processing are done by the blood transfusion unit (UTD). One of the ways UTD does this is by building networks and establishing communication and cooperation with all components of society. The purpose of this activity is to increase the insight and behavior of the community, in terms of the importance of donating blood voluntarily and regularly and maintaining risky behavior that can affect the safety and quality of blood. To fulfill the bloodstock at UTD PMI West Jakarta, cooperation with ITB Swadharma Jakarta was carried out by making blood donation activities. The activities have run well and smoothly, and the participants are willing to donate their blood and become sustainable donors.Kebutuhan akan darah untuk transfusi di Bank darah merupakan hal yang penting dan harus cukup tersedia stoknya. Masalah yang sering terjadi ketika banyak yang membutuhkan darah namun stok darah yang tersedia tidak mencukupi. Masalah lainnya adalah jenis golongan darah yang tersedia ternyata tidak sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. Penyelenggaraan donor dan pengolahan darah dilakukan oleh unit transfusi darah (UTD). Salah satu cara yang dilakukan oleh UTD adalah dengan membangun jejaring, menjalin komunikasi serta kerjasama dengan semua komponen masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan dan perilaku masyarakat dalam hal pentingnya mendonorkan darah secara sukarela dan teratur serta menjaga perilaku berisiko yang dapat mempengaruhi keamanan dan mutu darah. Untuk memenuhi stok darah di UTD PMI Jakarta Barat maka dilakukan kerjasama dengan ITB Swadharma Jakarta dengan membuat kegiatan donor darah. Kegiatan yang dilakukan telah berjalan dengan baik dan lancar, para peserta bersedia tidak hanya mendonorkan darahnya tetapi juga bersedia menjadi pendonor lestari.

Abstract

The ability to identify items in the environment is a crucial element of cognitive development and early education in children. Nevertheless, there are still constraints in the advancement of specialised applications for the identification of nearby items in youngsters using a gamification methodology. Furthermore, there remains a deficiency of programmes specifically tailored to children, lacking features such as user interfaces that are child-friendly and content that is age-appropriate. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) methodology, encompassing the phases of analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing. The findings demonstrated that incorporating gamification into interactive multimedia introductions to surrounding objects in children serves as an alternative educational medium that can assist teachers in the teaching and learning process. Specifically, it aids in explaining the identification and description of objects. By employing gamification through practice questions, it effectively stimulates children, enhancing their comprehension and proficiency in recognising surrounding objects. The comprehensive test findings indicate that this application has the potential to serve as an efficient and enjoyable alternative educational medium for children.

Abstract

Measuring employee performance is a critical component of ensuring the success and sustainability of a business in a competitive and dynamic business environment. The objective of this research is to create a web-based employee performance monitoring information system that can address the obstacles associated with managing employee performance, including data inaccuracy, reporting delays, and a lack of visibility of employee progress. The prototype method was employed to design this system, which enables the system to be developed iteratively in response to user feedback. This system's primary capabilities include the ability to access and revise employee data, prospects, and performance reports in real-time. The black box testing method was employed to evaluate the implementation of this system, and the results indicated that all of the features that were developed were valid and functioning properly. Ultimately, this system will facilitate more appropriate decision-making and increase company productivity by enabling companies to more effectively monitor employee performance. In summary, the information system for monitoring employee performance that has been developed provides a practical and effective solution to the numerous obstacles that organizations encounter when administering their performance.

Abstract

The research aims to design an application for child nutrition monitoring using the C4.5 Algorithm, focusing on measurement data from the Puskesmas in Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta. The data used amounted to 291 records over one year, which were processed to determine the nutritional status of children based on the Body Mass Index according to Age (BMI/A). The research methodology uses a quantitative approach with stages including problem analysis, application of the C4.5 algorithm for data classification, and proposed system design. The research results in a prototype of an application for child nutrition monitoring that can classify children's nutrition status with an accuracy level of 38.46%. This research is expected to significantly contribute to the development of more effective and efficient health information systems, improve the efficiency of data delivery to the Directorate of Community Nutrition of the Ministry of Health, and provide accuracy in determining children's nutrition status in real-time. This application is expected to support efforts to address malnutrition in Indonesia and benefit researchers and users in managing children's health data.Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi monitoring status gizi anak menggunakan Algoritma C4.5, dengan fokus pada data pengukuran dari Puskesmas di Jati Padang, Kecamatan Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan. Data yang digunakan berjumlah 291 record selama satu tahun, yang diolah untuk menentukan status gizi anak berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh menurut Umur (IMT/U). Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tahapan mencakup analisis permasalahan, penerapan algoritma C4.5 untuk klasifikasi data, dan perancangan sistem usulan. Hasil penelitian berupa purwarupa Aplikasi monitoring status gizi anak yang mampu mengklasifikasikan status gizi anak dengan tingkat akurasi mencapai 38,46%. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan sistem informasi kesehatan yang lebih efektif, efisien dan meningkatkan efisiensi pengiriman data ke Direktorat Gizi Masyarakat Kementerian Kesehatan, serta memberikan akurasi dalam penentuan status kondisi gizi anak secara real-time. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya penanganan gizi buruk di Indonesia dan memberikan manfaat bagi peneliti serta pengguna dalam pengelolaan data kesehatan anak.

Abstract

Plant lovers utilise their yards, and some even have upper floors of buildings where they plant trees, using pots popularly known as Tabulampot. A common problem is forgetting to water the plants, which, if it persists for a long time, can cause the plants to dry out and die. However, if there is too much water, the plants are susceptible to disease, rot, and eventual death. Plants need consistent and sufficient water intake to meet their needs. Excessive watering results in wasteful water and loss of nutrients in the planting medium. For this reason, a system is needed that automatically waters plants with measured doses. The purpose of this study is to design an automatic and measured watering system. Using the research and development method with a field research technique. The case study used is a water apple tree planted in a pot measuring 30 cm in height and 40 cm in width, using soil as the planting medium. The test results of this design indicate that the soil moisture sensor system and water flow meter function correctly as planned.Para pecinta tanaman memanfaatkan pekarangan mereka, bahkan ada yang menanam pohon di lantai atas gedung, menggunakan pot yang dikenal sebagai Tabulampot. Masalah umum yang sering terjadi adalah lupa menyiram tanaman, yang jika dibiarkan dalam waktu lama dapat menyebabkan tanaman mengering dan mati. Namun, jika terlalu banyak air, tanaman rentan terhadap penyakit, pembusukan, dan akhirnya mati. Tanaman membutuhkan asupan air yang konsisten dan cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Penyiraman yang berlebihan mengakibatkan pemborosan air dan hilangnya nutrisi pada media tanam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem yang secara otomatis menyiram tanaman dengan dosis terukur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem penyiraman otomatis dan terukur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan dengan teknik penelitian lapangan. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah pohon jambu yang ditanam dalam pot berukuran tinggi 30 cm dan lebar 40 cm, dengan menggunakan tanah sebagai media tanam. Hasil pengujian perancangan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem sensor kelembapan dan flow meter air berfungsi dengan baik sesuai rencana.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number and complexity of cyberattacks; therefore, insight is needed to avoid these crimes. Smartly managing privacy and personal data is not only a technical matter, but also a matter of habit and awareness. In today's digital age, protecting personal data is part of safeguarding our identity and future. The cyber world is very different from the real world; it knows no boundaries of time or territory. Efforts are being made to provide education to raise awareness and vigilance against cybersecurity threats. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to provide insight into what and how internet crimes are committed, both through social media and smartphones, among other means. This activity was held in the neighbourhood of RT 10 RW 09, Jembatan Besi Village, West Jakarta. The activity was designed for teenagers, parents, and homemakers and was attended by 20 participants. Overall, the education and outreach event regarding cybersecurity was well-received and met with a positive response.Pada beberapa tahun terakhir ini telah terjadi peningkatan jumlah dan kompleksitas dalam kasus serangan Cyber, untuk itu perlunya wawasan agar terhindar dari kejahatan ini. Cerdas mengelola privasi dan data pribadi bukan hanya soal teknis, tetapi juga soal kebiasaan dan kesadaran. Di era digital saat ini, melindungi data pribadi adalah bagian dari melindungi identitas dan masa depan kita. Dunia Cyber berbeda jauh dengan dunia nyata, dunia cyber tidak mengenal batas waktu dan wilayah.  Upaya yang dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan terhadap ancaman keamanan Cyber. Tujuan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini  memberikan wawasan apa dan bagaimana kejahatan Internet dilakukan baik melalui media sosial maupun Smartphone dan  lainnya.  Kegiatan ini dilaksakan di lingkungan RT 10 RW 09 Kelurahan Jembatan Besi, Jakarta Barat. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk para remaja, orang tua dan ibu rumah tangga, dihadiri oleh 20 Peserta. Secara keseluruhan acara edukasi dan sosialisasi mengenai keamanan cyber ini berjalan dengan baik dan mendapat respon yang cukup baik pula.

Abstract

The election of the chairman and vice chairman of the student council by implementing a general election system is a process of learning democracy directly for all students. The activity of election of the student council chairman right now still uses paper media to select candidates. Current technological opportunities allow elections to be conducted electronically through an e-voting system. The research aims to design a website-based E-voting application for the election of the student council chairman and vice chairman. The field study method is used to get complete and accurate data,  with observation and interview data collection techniques. The designed system is technologically feasible and can be continuously developed. The designed system provides convenience for users both in voting and calculating vote results.Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS dengan menerapkan sistem pemilihan umum (pemilu) merupakan sebuah proses pembelajaran demokrasi secara langsung bagi seluruh siswa. Kegiatan pemilihan ketua OSIS menggunakan media lembaran kertas untuk memilih calon. Peluang teknologi saat ini memungkinkan pemilihan dilakukan secara elektronik melalui sistem e-voting. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk merancang aplikasi E-voting berbasis website pada pemilihan ketua dan wakil ketua OSIS. Untuk memperoleh data-data yang lengkap dan akurat, maka digunakan metode studi lapangan dengan teknik-teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan interview. Sistem yang dirancang secara teknologi dapat dijalankan dan dikembangkan lagi. Sistem yang dirancang layak untuk diterapkan dan memberikan kemudahan bagi user baik dalam pemungutan dan perhitungan hasil suara.

Abstract

The large number of cases of cyber attacks encourages the need for more substantial efforts to understand and overcome them. For this reason, education is needed to increase awareness of cybersecurity threats and reduce the risk of cybercrime. This community service activity is carried out in the Young Ozzer Indonesia community through education and discussions regarding Cyber Crime and cyber security, including email, smartphones and social media. The results of the community service activities are increased knowledge, understanding and awareness of participants regarding cyber security. The increasing knowledge is measured from the post-test results, which show an increase in the scores obtained by participants after the education was carried out; namely, 10 out of 11 (91%) of the participants got a score of 60 or more, and only 1 participant got a score of 50.Banyaknya kasus serangan siber, mendorong perlunya upaya yang lebih kuat dalam memahami dan mengatasinya. Untuk itu diperlukan edukasi untuk dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan kewaspadaan terhadap ancaman keamanan siber untuk mengurang risiko kejahatan siber. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di komunitas Young Ozzer Indonesia dalam bentuk Edukasi dan diskusi mengenai Cyber Crime dan keamanan siber yang meliputi email, smartphone dan media sosial. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran peserta dalam hal keamanan siber. Hal ini diukur dari hasil Post Test yang menunjukan peningkatan nilai yang diperoleh peserta setelah dilaksanakan edukasi yaitu  10 dari 11 (91%) dari peserta memperoleh nilai 60 atau lebih dan hanya 1 peserta yang memperoleh nilai 50.
