Abstract

In an era of technological advancement, access to fast, accurate and efficient information has become an important requirement. This research focuses on the application of information systems in helping data management and customer service in various sectors, especially in the food business. The use of a web-based sales information system provides a solution to overcome various problems faced by small companies, such as sales data management that is prone to errors and loss of notes. By applying the Waterfall Method as a sequential and structured system development approach. With this technology, companies can increase effectiveness and productivity in handling management problems and provide better service to customers. The results of system testing show that all system features are valid and run as expected. research suggestions related to system features are additional features to find out the status of orders placed by visitors so that an estimation feature can be carried out from the time of the message to completion.

Abstract

Kelulusan tepat waktu adalah salah satu indikator keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam memperoleh gelar sarjana. Dalam praktiknya, mahasiswa tidak dapat selalu menyelesaikan pendidikan sarjana dalam empat tahun. Kelulusan tepat waktu adalah salah satu indikator penilaian kualitas pendidikan tinggi karena salah satu penilaian akreditasi Badan Akreditasi Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (BANPT). Jumlah lulusan dalam 7 tahun terakhir mahasiswa S-1 yang lulus tepat waktu tidak mencapai 50%. Dalam jangka panjang, hal ini dapat menyebabkan penumpukan mahasiswa di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah di Jakarta dan tentu saja akan menghasilkan penurunan nilai akreditasi untuk Program Studi dan Universitas. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan teknik data mining, algoritma C4.5 untuk mendeteksi lebih dini mahasiswa yang lulus terlambat, Algoritma C4.5 adalah algoritma yang sudah banyak dikenal dan digunakan untuk klasifikasi data yang memiliki atribut-atribut numerik dan kategorial. Pada penelitian ini menghasilkan Algoritma C4.5 dapat memprediksi kelulusan mahasiswa tepat waktu dengan nilai Accuracy 75,52 %, Precision 75,50%, dan Recall 75,50 %.

Abstract

The growth of laundry businesses in Indonesia continues to increase rapidly, along with the changing lifestyle and increasing busyness of urban communities. This Community Service activity aims to analyze effective development strategies for laundry businesses facing increasingly fierce competition by utilizing advances in information technology. The method used was training and mentoring one of the laundry businesses in the Depok area, using in-depth interview techniques to evaluate internal and external factors affecting the business. The results of the activity show that the use of information technology, efficient operational management, and appropriate marketing strategies can improve the competitiveness and profitability of laundry businesses. The implication of this service is that it provides an opportunity for laundry business owners to implement development strategies that are in accordance with market characteristics and dynamic business environment conditions. Pertumbuhan bisnis laundry di Indonesia terus meningkat pesat seiring dengan perubahan gaya hidup dan peningkatan kesibukan masyarakat perkotaan. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan yang efektif untuk bisnis laundry dalam menghadapi persaingan yang semakin ketat dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap salah satu bisnis laundry di daerah Depok, menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam untuk mengevaluasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi bisnis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi informasi, manajemen operasional yang efisien, dan strategi pemasaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan profitabilitas bisnis laundry. Implikasi dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan peluang bagi pemilik usaha laundry untuk mengimplementasikan strategi pengembangan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik pasar dan kondisi lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis.

Abstract

Warung Bunda is one of the MSMEs in the culinary field that specializes in Balinese cuisine. Warung Bunda currently faces obstacles in managing incoming orders manually. This community service activity helps improve MSMEs such as Warung Bunda through the creation of a web-based sales application. This application can improve order accuracy and order data management. Training for partners is conducted on the features and use of the application. The results show an increase in efficiency and quality of service in handling incoming orders. This initiative aims to raise awareness and support for MSMEs in Indonesia to be able to utilize the development of information technology. Warung Bunda merupakah salah satu UMKM di bidang kuliner yang mengkhususkan diri dalam masakan Bali. Warung Bunda saat ini menghadapi kendala dalam mengelola pesanan yang masuk secara manual. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini membantu meningkatkan UMKM seperti Warung Bunda melalui pembuatan aplikasi penjualan berbasis web. Aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan akurasi pesanan dan manajemen data pesanan. Pelatihan bagi mitra dilakukan pada fitur dan penggunaan aplikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan dalam menangani pesanan yang masuk. Inisiatif ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan dukungan untuk UMKM di Indonesia untuk dapat memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

The eyes are one of the vital senses for seeing and need to be kept healthy. Normal eyes can see near and far distances perfectly because the cornea and lens focus objects clearly on the retina. Refractive disorders caused by changes in eye anatomy cause blurred vision. Vision problems are related to daily activities, such as online learning creates eye fatigue, and playing games affects eye health because it is related to duration and frequency. The dry eye factor is a disorder that comes from the use of technology. To fulfill the Tridharma obligations of the ITB Swadharma Jakarta higher education institution, it held community services of eye health examination event with partners from the Charity Vision Indonesia foundation for lecturers, campus staff, students, and residents of the Roa Malaka sub-district. This activity aims to provide an understanding of the importance of eye health and eye health reviews.Mata merupakan salah satu indra untuk melihat yang vital dan perlu dijaga kesehatannya. Mata normal dapat melihat jarak dekat maupun jarak jauh dengan sempurna, karena kornea dan lensa memfokuskan objek dengan jelas ke retina. Gangguan refraksi yang disebabkan perubahan anatomi mata menyebabkan penglihatan menjadi kabur. Masalah gangguan penglihatan berhubungan dengan aktivatas sehari-hari, seperti: online learning mengakibatkan kelelahan mata, bermain game berpengaruh pada kesehatan mata karena terkait dengan durasi, frekuensi. Faktor mata kering merupakan gangguan yang berasal dari penggunaan teknologi. Untuk memenuhi kewajiban Tridarma perguruan tinggi ITB Swadharma Jakarta, menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelayanan pemeriksaan kesehatan mata secara gratis yang dilakukan di kampus ITB Swadharma Jakarta dengan mitra Yayasan Charity Vision Indonesia bagi dosen, staff kampus, mahasiswa dan warga kelurahan Roa Malaka.  Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pemahaman pentingnya kesehatan mata dan pemeriksaan kesehatan mata.

Abstract

The ability to identify items in the environment is a crucial element of cognitive development and early education in children. Nevertheless, there are still constraints in the advancement of specialised applications for the identification of nearby items in youngsters using a gamification methodology. Furthermore, there remains a deficiency of programmes specifically tailored to children, lacking features such as user interfaces that are child-friendly and content that is age-appropriate. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) methodology, encompassing the phases of analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing. The findings demonstrated that incorporating gamification into interactive multimedia introductions to surrounding objects in children serves as an alternative educational medium that can assist teachers in the teaching and learning process. Specifically, it aids in explaining the identification and description of objects. By employing gamification through practice questions, it effectively stimulates children, enhancing their comprehension and proficiency in recognising surrounding objects. The comprehensive test findings indicate that this application has the potential to serve as an efficient and enjoyable alternative educational medium for children.

Abstract

Measuring employee performance is a critical component of ensuring the success and sustainability of a business in a competitive and dynamic business environment. The objective of this research is to create a web-based employee performance monitoring information system that can address the obstacles associated with managing employee performance, including data inaccuracy, reporting delays, and a lack of visibility of employee progress. The prototype method was employed to design this system, which enables the system to be developed iteratively in response to user feedback. This system's primary capabilities include the ability to access and revise employee data, prospects, and performance reports in real-time. The black box testing method was employed to evaluate the implementation of this system, and the results indicated that all of the features that were developed were valid and functioning properly. Ultimately, this system will facilitate more appropriate decision-making and increase company productivity by enabling companies to more effectively monitor employee performance. In summary, the information system for monitoring employee performance that has been developed provides a practical and effective solution to the numerous obstacles that organizations encounter when administering their performance.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the laundry business offers solutions to various operational challenges, such as manual order recording, which is prone to errors and inaccuracies but also opens up various new opportunities to improve customer service and optimise financial management. The laundry application allows customers to easily order services anytime and anywhere, track their order status in real-time, and make payments online. This research aims to design a web-based laundry information system. The method used is system development life cycle (SDLC) with design tools using UML. Data collection was carried out using observation and interview techniques. The research results are a prototype of a web-based laundry information system, which has carried out a system feasibility analysis, concluding that the designed system is feasible to implement in technical, economic, operational, and scheduling aspects.Transformasi digital dalam bisnis penatu tidak hanya menawarkan solusi terhadap berbagai tantangan operasional, seperti pencatatan order secara manual yang rentan terhadap kesalahan dan ketidakakuratan, tetapi juga membuka berbagai peluang baru dalam hal peningkatan layanan pelanggan dan optimalisasi manajemen keuangan. Dengan adanya sistem informasi penatu, pelanggan dapat dengan mudah memesan layanan kapan saja dan di mana saja, melacak status order mereka secara real-time, serta melakukan pembayaran secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan rancang bangun sistem informasi penatu berbasis web. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan metode system development life cycle (SDLC) dengan alat perancangan menggunakan UML. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian berupa purwarupa sistem informasi penatu berbasis web yang telah dilakukan analisis kelayakan sistem dengan kesimpulan bahwa sistem yang dirancang telah layak diimplementasikan secara aspek teknis, ekonomi, operasional dan penjadwalan.

Abstract

Warung Bunda is a culinary business that sells Balinese food. Currently, Warung Bunda faces the challenge of manually tracking and recording customer orders. This research aims to design a web-based sales information system at Warung Bunda to increase the accuracy and efficiency of order recording. This study uses the research and development methods. The study gathers data by means of direct observation and interviews with the owners. The information system development process employs the agile method. The research results have led to the creation of a prototype for a web-based culinary business sales information system, which not only provides accurate order management but also enhances overall business operations. The implementation of this web-based system will meet Warung Bunda's business needs and enhance the quality of its services. Keywords: Balinese food, culinary business, information system, and sales.Warung Bunda merupakan sebuah usaha kuliner yang menjual makanan khas Bali. Permasalahan saat ini yang dihadapi yaitu permasalahan dalam melacak dan mencatat pesanan pelanggan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi penjualan berbasis web pada Warung Bunda guna meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi pencatatan pesanan. Menggunakan metode penelitian research and development dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pemilik. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi menggunakan metode agile. Hasil penelitian berupa purwarupa sistem informasi penjualan usaha kuliner berbasis web dengan menyediakan manajemen pesanan yang akurat dan meningkatkan operasi bisnis secara keseluruhan. Implementasi sistem berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis Warung Bunda dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanannya.

Abstract

Tofu is one of the food ingredients derived from soybeans that are processed through several stages of processing without using preservatives. Industry knows it has an important role in the economy in Indonesia, especially in terms of labor absorption, and business equity. The existence of fluctuations in the increase in the price of raw materials and the emergence of business competition in the business of tofu is inevitable. Thus, entrepreneurs know it is required to make the right efforts and strategies to maintain business continuity. The purpose of this research is to find out how strategies marketing entrepreneurs know in maintaining business continuity in Banjarsari District, Lebak Banten Regency. The informants involved in this research are known entrepreneurs in the Banjarsari Subdistrict, Sellers of tofu, consumer tofu, and the Subdistrict employee. The research method used is a qualitative definition of this research will be analyzed using SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the IFAS matrix showed that the industry knew in Banjarsari District was in a down internal position, where this business has not good internal in terms of products and strategies. The EFAS matrix shows that the opportunity and threat factors identify that they know the industry in Banjarsari District responds to existing opportunities by avoiding threats in its industrial market by implementing marketing mix policies such as product policies, price policies, place policies, and promotional policies and maintaining and improving the quality of services that support the aggressive growth of tofu products in Banjarsari District.Tahu merupakan salah satu bahan makanan yang berasal dari kacang kedelai yang diolah melalui beberapa tahap pengolahan tanpa menggunakan bahan pengawet. Industri tahu memiliki peranan penting dalam perekonomian di Indonesia terutama ditinjau dari segi penyerapan tenaga kerja, dan pemerataan usaha. Adanya fluktuasi pada kenaikan harga bahan baku dan munculnya persaingan bisnis dalam usaha tahu merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dihindari. Dengan demikian para pengusaha tahu dituntut untuk melakukan upaya dan strategi yang tepat demi menjaga kelangsungan usaha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran pengusaha tahu dalam mempertahankan kelangsungan usaha di Kecamatan Banjarsari Kabupaten Lebak Banten. Informan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha tahu di Kecamatan Banjarsari, penjual tahu, konsumen tahu dan pihak Kecamatan yaitu bagian Ekbangsos. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah deskriftip kualitatif penelitian ini akan dianalisi dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapat bahwa dalam matrik IFAS menunjukan bahwa industry tahu di Kecamatan Banjarsari berada pada posisi internal yang lemah, dimana usaha ini memiliki kelemahan internal dari segi produk dan strategi. Dalam matrik EFAS menunjukan bahwa faktor peluang dan ancaman menidentifikasikan bahwa industri tahu di Kecamatan Banjarsari merespon peluang yang ada dengan cara menghindari ancaman di pasar industrinya dengan menerapkan kebijakan bauran pemasaran seperti kebijakan produk, kebijakan harga, kebijakan tempat dan kebijakan promosi serta mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang mendukung pertumbuhan yang agresif dari produk tahu di Kecamatan Banjarsari.
