Abstract

This research aims to test the effect of the time token type cooperative model on class student learning outcomes and the effect of implementing the time token type cooperative model on students' social skills, as well as to test the increase in students' thematic learning outcomes and social skills after using the time token cooperative learning model. This research uses an experimental method with a True Experimental design using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Research data was collected through written tests and questionnaires. Based on the results of the t test calculation, the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) = 0.024 < α value = 0.050. So, it can be stated that there is an influence of the time token type cooperative learning model. Meanwhile, calculated using the Mann Whitney test, a sig value was obtained. = 0.000 < α = 0.050. So, there is no significant difference in improvement in social skills between experimental class and control class students. In statistical calculations of student learning outcomes using the N-Gain test, an average N-Gain value of 0.34 was obtained with a moderate interpretation. Thus, there is a significant increase in thematic learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the results of statistical calculations of students' social skills using the N-Gain test, obtained an average N-Gain value of 0.62 with a moderate interpretation. So, there is a significant improvement in students' social skills.

Abstract

The Background of this research is based on several common problems found in mathematics learning, such as low learning outcomes, students' difficulties in understanding concepts, and a lack of student interest in collaborating with classmates. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the AIR model on students' collaborative skills and mathematics learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Karangampel Kidul. The research method used was a True Experimental Design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study used 2 sample groups, namely the control class with 32 students and the experimental class with 32 students. The experimental group was a group of students who were given the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) model treatment, while the control group was a group of students who used the conventional model. The instruments used were test questions and observation sheets which were then carried out on the experimental and control classes. The results of the study based on the results of the Mann Whitney test to determine the effect of the AIR model on collaborative skills showed an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.003 < 0.05, meaning the hypothesis is accepted, so there is a difference in collaborative skills between students in the experimental class and students in the control class. In the Mann Whitney test analysis of learning outcomes, it can be seen that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000, so the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value is stated < 0.05. So Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning the hypothesis is accepted, it is concluded that there is a significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the model (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) on the collaborative skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students in concentrating to understand the subject matter which results in a lack of development of creativity skills and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the project-based learning model on the creativity and learning outcomes of grade V students on the learning of food chain science. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Karangampel Kidul. The research method used is True Experimental Design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study used 2 sample groups, namely a control class of 45 people and an experimental class of 45 people. The experimental group is a group of students who are given the treatment of a project-based learning model, while the control group is a group of students who use a conventional model. The instruments used are test questions to determine learning outcomes and observation sheets to determine student creativity which is then carried out in experimental and control classes. As a result of this study, Mann Whitney's test on creativity observation is known to have an Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.006 so that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is stated to be less than 0.05 (0.006 < 0.05), so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted or there is a difference in creativity between students in the experimental class and students in the control class. In the analysis of the Mann Whitney test, the students' learning outcomes were known to have Asymp scores. Sig. (2-tailed) by 0.000 so that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is stated to be less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), which can be interpreted as Ha accepted or there is a significant difference in science learning outcomes between students in the experimental class and students in the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project-based learning model on the creativity and learning outcomes of grade V students on the learning of food chain science materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to improve students' initial reading skills and motivation with the word square model in Indonesian language learning for grade III elementary school. The background of this study is the importance of initial reading skills and motivation in students. The word square learning model is considered a suitable model to improve students' initial reading skills and motivation. This study uses the classroom action research (CAR) method. Data were collected through observation sheets, written tests, oral tests of early reading skills, and questionnaires given to grade III students of UPTD SDN 4 Benda Karangampel. The results of the study showed an increase. This is evidenced by the teacher's observation score in cycle I at 83% in the very good category, cycle II 89% in the very good category, cycle III 97% in the very good category. This is a written test of students' initial reading ability in cycle I, 100% of students have not completed it from 26 students, cycle II 88% of the 23 students who completed the test had scores above the KKM and 12% of the 3 students who had not completed the test, cycle III 100% of students are compact and have understood from 26 students. Furthermore, the oral test cycle I 78% is categorized as good, cycle II 88% is categorized as very good, cycle III 96% is categorized as very good. Furthermore, students' motivation in cycle I was 76% in the good category, cycle II was 79% in the good category, cycle III was 88% in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the word square learning model can improve students' initial reading skills and motivation in Indonesian language lessons in grade III of elementary school.

Abstract

Natural Science is one of the subjects that has a close relationship with students' daily lives. In the process of learning science in the classroom, the main focus lies on experiments that link students' prior knowledge with the material to be learned. The purpose of this approach is to motivate students in learning as well as improve their learning outcomes and collaboration skills. This study aims to investigate the effect of the Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model on learning outcomes and collaboration skills of grade 4 students at UPTD SDN 1 Srengseng, Krangkeng District, Indramayu Regency. The method applied in this research is quantitative, with an experimental approach that produces data in the form of numbers. Data were collected through written tests and questionnaires. The results of the analysis showed an influence on student learning outcomes, which is reflected in the variable coefficient of 0.026, which is smaller than 0.05, in science learning using the CLIS model. Meanwhile, for the collaboration skills variable, the result shows 0.160 > 0.05, which indicates that there is no significant influence on collaboration skills. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model has a positive impact on students' learning outcomes in science, although it has no effect on their collaboration skills.
