Abstract

Pembelajaran pada umumnya masih berpusat pada guru dengan menggunakan metode ceramah yang mengakibatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan komunikasi siswa kurang berkembang. Model Problem Based Learning membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berkomunikasi. Pembelajaran PBL sangat tepat apabila didasarkan pada Socio-Scientific Issue (SSI) yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan PBL berbasis SSI terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi, dan hasil belajar kognitif pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati kelas X-MIPA SMAN 1 Ciawigebang. Penelitian quasi eksperimental ini menggunakan desain posttest only control group design dengan populasi sebanyak 4 kelas. Sampel sebanyak 2 kelas menggunakan teknik probability sampling jenis cluster random sampling. Kelas X-MIPA I sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-MIPA II sebagai kelas kontrol. Data berupa kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi tertulis dan verbal serta hasil belajar kognitif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbasis SSI berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, komunikasi tertulis dan verbal serta hasil belajar kognitif. Penerapan model PBL berbasis SSI dapat dikembangkan lebih baik lagi dengan merancang LKS minimal satu minggu sebelum pelaksanaan disertai lebih dari satu media pembelajaran serta hasil belajar mencakup aspek afektif dan psikomotor.   Learning is still centered on the teacher by using lecture method that resulted in not developed enough to critical thinking skills and communication students. PBL helps students develop critical thinking and communication skills. PBL learning is based on SSI associated with the student's daily life. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of PBL based SSI to develop critical thinking, communication, and cognitive learning outcomes on biodiversity concept of X-MIPA SMAN 1 Ciawigebang. This quasi experimental study design using posttest only control group design with 4 class population. Samples were 2 classes using probability sampling techniques types of cluster random sampling. X-MIPA was an experimental class and X-MIPA II was the control class. Data was in the form of critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication and cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis used the independent sample t test. Based on the result can be concluded that the application of the PBL based SSI influence on the development of critical thinking skills, written and verbal communication and cognitive learning outcomes. PBL based SSI application can develop be better by designing LKS at least one weeks earlier using more than instructional media and learning outcomes include affective and psychomotor.

Abstract

Learning is a process that requires resources as a support in the success of learning. As an educator, teachers must be careful in choosing the learning resources needed by students, so that the learning process can be achieved according to the purpose of learning. But in fact, the learning that teachers do in schools is still not utilizing the media as an appropriate learning resource for students, especially in the understanding of abstract biological concepts that require supporting media for student learning. This study aims to describe differences in student learning outcomes that use interactive multimedia with textbooks in biology learning at senior high school. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental, with Control Group Pretest - Posttest Design. Population in this research is class XI-MIPA I and XI-MIPA II. Class XI-MIPA I as experimental class and class XI-MIPA II as control class. The data were obtained by using a multiple choice test instrument of 30 questions. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest it was found that the average value of the experimental class was greater than the control class. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes that use interactive multimedia with textbooks in biology learning at senior high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran multiliterasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) Mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasy-eksperimen dengan pretest-postest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh mahasiswa semester V Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu sebanyak 3 kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester V Program Studi S1 PGSD STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu sebanyak 2 kelas dengan jumlah 60 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi Metode Tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik Kolmogrof Smirnov. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran multiliterasi berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) mahasiswa. Adanya pengaruh tersebut ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) mahasiswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the trend of Augmented Reality (AR) research in Indonesia in learning biology through bibliometric analysis sourced from Google Scholar and Scopus in 2013-2022. The sample articles obtained were 223 articles. The results show that AR research in biology learning in Indonesia will increase in 2019-2021 and will decrease in 2022. Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and Universitas Negeri Malang rank first and second in publications regarding AR in biology learning in Indonesia. The results of the data visualization analysis consist of 7 clusters, namely the use of AR applications in research related to biology learning, AR relationship with learning materials, educational level, and learning outcomes, and evelopment and application of AR in biology learning. Furthermore, the fourth to seventh clusters are clusters which show that research on AR still has opportunities to be carried out related to the use of AR applications in biology learning in Indonesia

Abstract

Abstrak: Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil dan Motivasi Belajar Matematika Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay Pada Siswa Di Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan, hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VI UPTD SDN 1 Jayalaksana pada pelajaran matematika setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dalam dua siklus yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil observasi penerapan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay pada siklus I mencapai presentase 67,1%, pada siklus II mencapai presentase 90,62%. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh pada siklus I mencapai presentase 62,50%, pada siklus II mencapai presentase 88%. Hasil motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata presentase 75,26% kategori tinggi dan pada siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata prsentase 85,06% kategori sangat tinggi, artinya hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 80%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP) program for STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu students which consists of 3 study programs namely elementary school teacher education, Indonesian language and literature education, and physical education, health, and recreation using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process and Product). This qualitative descriptive evaluative research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results of the study show that 1) The implementation of the PLP program is going well in accordance with the predetermined academic calendar, 2) The PPL organizing organizations carry out their duties according to their respective duties and functions, 3) there are several aspects that need to be improved in implementing the PLP program, 4) vision and goals to produce prospective teachers who have pedagogic, social, personality, and professional competencies have been reflected in the PLP program 5) the results of the PLP practice assessment generally obtained good results.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning achievement by enhancing the Problem-solving learning model in science lessons on plant material in class IV students at State Elementary School 2 Segeran, Juntinyuat District, Indramayu Regency. This is a Class Action Research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 29 Class IV students at State Elementary School 2 Segeran, Juntinyuat District, Indramayu Regency. Research data was obtained through tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The study results showed an increase in the learning achievement of Class IV students at State Elementary School 2 Segeran, Juntinyuat District, Indramayu Regency through the Problem-solving learning model. Improvement in learning achievement is indicated by an increase in the average percentage of aspects of student learning outcomes from 41% in pre-cycle to 51% in cycle I, then increased to 82% in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning achievement in learning through the application of the Problem-solving learning model in the Natural Sciences subject matter Plants in class IV students at State Elementary School 2 Segeran, Juntinyuat District, Indramayu Regency

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity, reliability, and item characteristics of scientific literacy assessment instruments on cell material. The scientific literacy ability category includes identifying valid scientific arguments, evaluating the validity of a source, evaluating the use and misuse of scientific information, understanding research design elements and how they impact scientific findings, and reading and interpreting graphical representations of data. The research subjects were students of the 5th semester elementary school teacher education study program. The validity test included content validity using Aiken V validity index and construct validity using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Reliability test is carried out by looking for the price of the reliability coefficient r with correlation product moment test. The characteristic test is carried out by determining the level of difficulty and discriminating power. The results show that the scientific literacy assessment instrument on cell material is a valid instrument based on the analysis of content validity, construct validity, and item characteristics. Thus, the assessment instrument is suitable for use as an assessment instrument in research to measure students' scientific literacy in cell material.
