Abstract

Palm oil is one of the largest commodities in Indonesia, especially in the province of South Sumatra and every year its area increases. This has an impact on the large amount of waste produced from the palm oil processing factory itself, the waste in question includes palm oil shells, leftovers from processing palm fruit in palm oil factories. The aim of this research is to find out the effect of adding palm shell ash on the flexibility and durability values of modified asphalt and what is the optimal mixture for AC-BC pavement after adding palm shell ash as an additive which is substituted with stone ash with a percentage variation of 0 %, 4%, 6%, and 8% on AC-BC pavement mixtures. From the results of the Marshall test, it was concluded that as the percentage of palm shell ash increased, the flexibility value increased, with the highest value obtained at a percentage of 8% of palm shell ash with a VMA value of 14.96% (residual Marshall) and VIM of 4.57%. . The durability value obtained for the percentage of 0% palm oil shell ash is 91.98%, the percentage for 4% palm oil shell ash is 92.69%, and for the percentage of 6% palm oil shell ash is 93.25% and for the percentage 8% palm shell ash is 93.29%. From the results of this research, it was found that the value of the influence of the palm oil shell ash mixture on the flexibility and durability values had a positive impact on PG76 modified asphalt, where every percentage of palm oil shell ash still met the standard development specifications.Keywords: At least 3 words and a maximum of 6 words, (first word; second word; third word)

Abstract

The algebraic thinking is very important for students to be able to abstract and generalize a mathematical problem. The purpose of this research is to reveal students' algebraic thinking processes in solving math problems based on reflective-impulsive cognitive styles. The method used is a qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of 55 students who were then selected six students based on the reflective-impulsive cognitive style. The research instrument used consisted of an algebraic thinking test that adopted from TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study), MFFT (Matching Familiar Figure Test) and an interview guide. In this paper, researchers are focus on the exploration of students' algebraic thinking ability in solving problems on generalization and abstraction components. The finding showed that the reflective subjects and impulsive subjects are able to solve generalization and abstraction problems. The reflective and impulsive subjects are able to use patterns to solve problems related to generalizations. In addition, reflective and impulsive subjects are able to use symbols as an abstraction of the relationship between concepts and mathematical properties. However, the reflective subjects used the solution problem steps more systematic than impulsive subjects. The implication of the finding is that the individual differences such as cognitive style should be facilitated by the teachers so that students are more successful in learning mathematics.

Abstract

[ID] Kabupaten Kampar merupakan salah satu wilayah yang sering mengalami banjir, yang diakibatkan meluapnya sungai Kampar. Sepanjang tahun 2011 – 2017 tercatat paling sedikit telah terjadi bencana banjir 1 (satu) kali dalam setahun. Untuk meminimalisir dampak kejadian banjir, maka perlu dilakukan mempelajari karakteristik curah hujan secara temporal maupun spasial. Hal ini penting sebagai informasi kepada masyarakat untuk mengantisipasi dampak curah hujan ekstrim pada waktu dan lokasi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi spatio-temporal yang ekstrim dari curah hujan di Kabupaten Kampar yang sering menyebabkan banjir. Namun untuk mengidentifikasi ciri – ciri hujan, penelitian ini menggunakan CHIRPS (Climate Hazards InfraRed Precipitation dengan Station) data satelit karena data observasi data curah hujan di Station Klimatologi Riau tidak tersedia 2012. Hasil identifikasi menunjukan bahwa korelasi ( R ) nilai antara data observasi curah hujan dan data satelit CHIRPS adalah 0.526.  Nilai ini adalah diartikan “sedang” untuk dijadikan alternatif data kajian. GEE (Google Earth Engine) sebagai platform berbasis cloud digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik temporal diketahui curah hujan ekstrim terjadi di bulan Januari, Juni, Agustus dan November. Hasil identifikasi spasial menunjukan bahwa wilayah tersebut mempunyai rata – rata curah hujan maksimum tertinggi terdapat di wilayah Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu 40.01 mm/hari. Ini dapat dipastikan dengan melihat dokumentasi kejadian banjir yang sering terjadi di wilayah tersebut. [EN] Kampar Regency is one of the areas that frequently experiences flooding, which is caused by the overflowing of the Kampar River. Throughout 2011 - 2017, it was recorded that at least 1 (one) flood disaster occurred a year. To minimize the impact of flood events, it is necessary to study the characteristics of rainfall both temporally and spatially. This is important as information for the public to anticipate the impact of extreme rainfall at certain times and locations. This research aims to identify spatio-temporal extremes of rainfall in Kampar Regency which often cause flooding. However, to identify the characteristics of rainfall, this research uses CHIRPS (Climate Hazards InfraRed Precipitation with Station) satellite data because rainfall observation data at the Riau Climatology Station is not available in 2012. The identification results show that the correlation (R) value between rainfall observation data and CHIRPS satellite data is 0.526. This value is interpreted as "medium" to be used as an alternative study data. GEE (Google Earth Engine) as a cloud-based platform is used to identify the known temporal characteristics of extreme rainfall occurring in January, June, August and November. The spatial identification results show that this area has the highest average maximum rainfall in the Koto Kampar Hulu District area of ​​40.01 mm/day. This can be confirmed by looking at the documentation of flood events that often occur in the area.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi semakin berkembang pesat sehingga terdapat aplikasi dan website yang sangat berguna, tak terkecuali di dunia bisnis yang semakin meningkatkan kualitas produk dan pelayanan menggunakan teknologi agar pengusaha memiliki pelayanan dan hubungan baik dengan pelanggannya serta memudahkan dalam melakukan pelaporan penjualan. Pelayanan pembelian produk dapat dilakukan secara elektronik. Penelitian dari masalah bisnis ini merupakan aspek dalam meningkatkan keunggulan untuk mempercepat kinerja proses pelayanan pada Warung Buyut Semar yang lebih efektif, efisien dan kenyamanan serta kepuasan pengguna dalam mengembangkan bisnis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi Point of Sales (POS) dan melakukan analisis pada aplikasi POS untuk mengetahui tingkat kualitas dari aplikasi POS dan bagaimana aplikasi tersebut dapat membantu bisnis pada Warung Buyut Semar dalam pengelolaan data laporan penjualan dan pelayanan kepada konsumen secara sistematis dan terkomputerisasi. Penelitian pada aplikasi ini dimulai dari pengumpulan data yang dibutuhkan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian berupa data responden yang menggunakan aplikasi POS ini. Sedangkan instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang berisikan 10 pertanyaan yang sesuai dengan aturan pengujian usability dengan teknik System Usability Scale atau SUS. Adapun tahapan metode penelitian ini yaitu, rancang bangun, analisis dan pengujian, observasi, pelaporan dan tindak lanjut. Dengan adanya penelitian pada aplikasi POS dapat diketahui tingkat kualitas aplikasi POS dengan metode SUS sebesar 86,8 sehingga dapat dikatakan acceptiable dan dapat menyakinkan pengguna untuk dapat menggunakannya serta bisa membantu tugas-tugas pihak terkait dan seluruh pengguna yang berhubungan langsung dengan aplikasi POS ini

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Post-tin mining land is land that is low in nutrients. The low nutrient content causes the land to not be used optimally. Sorghum plants are one alternative to be developed in post-tin mining land. Sorghum plant growth and yield can be optimized by providing biosaka and NPK fertilizer. The research was conducted from January to June 2024. The research location was in the Kampoeng Reclamation Air Jangkang land, Merawang District, Bangka Regency. This study used an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RAK) split splot consisting of 2 plots. The main map is without biosaca (A0) and biosaca and (A1), and the sub-plot of NPK use consisting of 4 levels, namely without NPK fertilizer (B1), 50% NPK (B2), 75% NPK (B3), and 100% NPK (B4). The results of the analysis of post-mining land soil have acidic pH soil content, C-Organic content, N-total in the very low category, with high sand content reaching 96%, and very low dust and clay content of 2%. The results of the study showed that the application of biosaca and NPK fertilizer did not show any interaction with all observed variables . Biosaca application on sorghum plants showed no effect on the observed variables. The use of various doses of NPK fertilizer treatment showed a very significant effect on the variables of plant height, wet weight of the crown and wet weight of the roots, and also affected the variables of stem diameter and panicle length. Treatment without biosaca and 100% NPK fertilizer produced better results compared to treatment with biosaca administration.

Abstract

Permasalahan penanganan limbah merupakan salah satu masalah klasik yang terus-menerus membutuhkan perhatian secara khusus. Terutama limbah-limbah usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) maupun limbah rumah tangga. Setiap tahunnya volume limbah / sampah khususnya sampah organik mengalami peningkatan. Kondisi ini diperparah dengan belum adanya kebiasaan dari masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah-limbah organik yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga dan diolah menjadi produk yang berguna dan berdaya saing. Limbah-limbah organik yang dihasilkan oleh unit industri kecil dan menengah serta rumah tangga pada dasarnya merupakan limbah yang sangat mudah untuk diolah kembali, diantaranya dengan menggunakan teknik pengomposan ataupun metode biokonversi menggunakan makhluk hidup berupa larva / belatung Black Soldier Fly atau yang dikenal dengan nama maggot. Bahan organik yang disukai oleh larva BSF adalah sisa makanan seperti limbah pasar, limbah kandang, limbah agroindustri, limbah dapur dari restoran, limbah buah dan sayur yang banyak mengandung air, serta limbah yang kaya protein Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian yang diarahkan kepada masyarakat umum di desa Air Duren yang memiliki unit pengolahan komoditas nanas yang menghasilkan limbah serta adanya limbah-limbah organik yang belum tertangani dengan baik sehingga perlu sentuhan teknologi yang mumpuni. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini memberikan stimulasi positif dalam menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk mengolah limbah organik yang terdapat pada area sekitarnya agar tercipta suasana lingkungan yang bebas limbah serta menghasilkan produk biomassa yang berguna dalam menyuburkan tanah dan bernilai ekonomi untuk dijual.

Abstract

Post-tin mining land is dominated by sand fractions and low in organic C content and essential macro nutrients. High yield of elephant grass can be produced on land containing sufficient and constantly available nutrients. The aim of this research was to determine the effects of ameliorants consisting of mycorrhizae and NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of elephant grass plants in post-tin mining land. This research was arranged in a randomized complete block design with a combination of mycorrhizae and NPK fertilizer doses. Treatments consisted of control (without mycorrhizae and NPK), NPK 100%, mycorrhizae + NPK 25%, mycorrhizae + NPK 50%, and mycorrhizae + NPK 100%. The recommended dose of NPK 100% was 300 kg/ha. The research results demonstrated significant effects of mycorrhizae and NPK fertilizer doses combination on the plant height, number of clumps, and crop production per plot. Applying NPK fertilizer 100% to elephant grass plants resulted in the highest ratoon yields in post-tin mining land.

Abstract

Post-tin mining land has low nutrient content, which makes it harder for plants to absorb macro and micronutrients. Adaptive plants such as pakchong grass and the application of nitrogen fertilizer are solutions for cultivating and increasing post-tin mining land productivity. This research was conducted to identify the most efficient doses of nitrogen fertilization for pakchong grass in post-tin mining land. This research was conducted in Kampoeng Reklamasi Air Jangkang, Bangka Regency. This research used a randomized block design consisting of 4 treatments, i.e., A0 (without N fertilizer), A1 (6.125 g N/plant), A2 (7.875 g N/plant), and A3 (9.875 g N/plant). Data obtained were subjected to analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at a 95% significance level. The results showed that the application of different doses of nitrogen fertilizer significantly affected the dry weight of the canopy and yield per plot. The treatment of A3 (9.875 g N/plant) had the highest yield but was not significantly different from the A1 treatment (6.125 g N/plant) and A2 treatment (7.875 g N/plant). The highest fat content was in the A2 treatment (7.875 g N/plant), and the highest total N and protein content was in the A treatment (6.125 g N/plant). The best nitrogen treatment in this research was A1 (6.125 g N/plant), which had lower nitrogen treatment but had similar results with the higher dose of other nitrogen fertilizer, making it more efficient for nitrogen fertilization in post-tin mining land.

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Mesin pada tahun 2023 telah melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di desa Air Anyir kecamatan Merawang Kabupaten Bangka. Mitra pengabdiannya adalah kelompok ternak Taret Jaya. Kelompok tersebut beternak bebek pedaging dan itik. Dalam membuat pakan, proses pencacahan bahan pakan masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan golok atau pisau dan juga proses pengadukan untuk mencampur bahan pakan menggunakan cangkul yang membutuhkan waktu sekitar 30 menit untuk bahan adukan 50-60 kg. Berdasarkan diskusi bersama dengan kelompok ternak Taret Jaya dan pihak desa Air Anyir, Mereka membutuhkan mesin pengaduk bahan pakan. Untuk itu, tim pengabdian dari jurusan Teknik Mesin tahun 2023 telah menyerahkan satu unit mesin pengaduk pakan. Mesin tersebut mampu mengaduk pakan 6 kali lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan mengaduk secara manual. Pengabdian lanjutan pada tahun 2024, berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan kelompok ternak Taret Jaya dan Sekretaris desa Air Anyir, mereka membutuhkan mesin pencacah sampah organik. Mesin tersebut diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk mencacah bahan pakan ternak dan juga dapat mencacah bahan organik untuk bahan pembuatan pupuk kompos. Pelaksanaan pengabdian telah dilaksanakan di kelompok ternak Taret jaya. Telah dilakukan serah terima mesin sebanyak satu unit mesin pencacah kepada mitra PkM. Mesin tersebut membantu mitra dalam memproduksi pakan secara mandiri.

Abstract

One of the efforts to deal with this problem can be through the use of planting media and the right nutrient system. This study aims to determine the influence of the type of bark planting medium, nutrient system and interaction on the growth and yield of Honey Dew. This study uses a Factorial Group Random Design. Treatment cempedak bark planting medium with drip irrigation, cempedak bark planting medium with direct watering, sengon bark planting medium with drip irrigation, sengon bark planting medium with direct watering, pine bark planting medium with drip irrigation, and pine bark planting medium with direct watering. Research of results showed that the use of bark planting media had a significant effect on fruit length and fruit diameter. The nutrient system has a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, fruit weight, fruit length, number of seeds in the fruit, moisture content and sugar content. The interaction of the type of bark planting medium with the nutrient system only had significant effect on the percentage of potential fruit falls. Cempedak bark planting media shows the best growth and yield of Honey dew. The drip irrigation nutrient application system showed the best honey dew growth and yield and the interaction of pine bark planting media type and drip irrigation system gave the best honey dew crop yield.Keywords : honey dew, sengon bark, cempedak bark, pine bark, nutrient application system.
