Abstract

Peanut is an important agricultural commodity in Indonesia as a protein and vegetable oil source. Soil conditions in Indonesia are usually ultisol soils that have low pH and nutrients, this is an obstacle in peanut cultivation. This study was conducted to determine the effect of a combination of calcite sources and organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of peanut in ultisol soil. This research was conducted from May to August 2024 at UPTD Balai Benih Pertanian Air Pelempang, Bangka Regency. The research used a split-plot randomized group design. The main plot was without a calcite source (P1), agricultural calcite (P2), and gypsum waste (P3). Subplots were commercial compost (K1), chicken manure (K2), and cow manure (K3). Data analysis was performed using an analysis of variance with a significant level of 95% and a follow-up test with Duncan's Multiple Range Test with a significant level of 95%. The results showed that the treatment of calcite sources from agricultural calcite was better than the treatment of gypsum waste and without calcite sources. The treatment of organic fertilizer from chicken manure was better than cow manure and commercial compost. The combination that gave the best results with the highest value was agricultural calcite and chicken manure fertilizer, which affected all parameters except the percentage of effective root nodules, root dry weight, and flowering age. Gypsum waste has the potential to be a substitute for agricultural calcite when combined with chicken manure fertilizer, as it does not have significant results with agricultural calcite.

Abstract

One of the efforts to deal with this problem can be through the use of planting media and the right nutrient system. This study aims to determine the influence of the type of bark planting medium, nutrient system and interaction on the growth and yield of Honey Dew. This study uses a Factorial Group Random Design. Treatment cempedak bark planting medium with drip irrigation, cempedak bark planting medium with direct watering, sengon bark planting medium with drip irrigation, sengon bark planting medium with direct watering, pine bark planting medium with drip irrigation, and pine bark planting medium with direct watering. Research of results showed that the use of bark planting media had a significant effect on fruit length and fruit diameter. The nutrient system has a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, fruit weight, fruit length, number of seeds in the fruit, moisture content and sugar content. The interaction of the type of bark planting medium with the nutrient system only had significant effect on the percentage of potential fruit falls. Cempedak bark planting media shows the best growth and yield of Honey dew. The drip irrigation nutrient application system showed the best honey dew growth and yield and the interaction of pine bark planting media type and drip irrigation system gave the best honey dew crop yield.Keywords : honey dew, sengon bark, cempedak bark, pine bark, nutrient application system.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine how transformational leadership and organizational culture affect human resource (HR) performance, with intrinsic motivation acting as a mediating factor in service companies in Palembang City. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were obtained from 64 respondents through a questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The outcomes show that transformational leadership has a significant effect on intrinsic motivation, and intrinsic motivation has a significant impact on HR performance. However, work culture doesn’t have a significant impact on intrinsic motivation, and transformational leadership doesn’t directly have a significant impact on HR performance. Conversely, work culture has been shown to have a significant effect on HR performance. These findings reinforce the importance of building a strong organizational culture and maintaining intrinsic motivation as strategies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L) is the most important commodity after soybean which has a strategic role as a national food source as a source of protein and vegetable oil. The use of inorganic fertilizers must be balanced with organic fertilizers that can help improve soil properties damaged by the use of inorganic fertilizers. The goal of this study was to ascertain how NPK dosages and palm oil liquid waste interacted to influence groundnut plant development and yield. The Randomized Group Design (RAK) is the design employed in this study. The first factor is palm oil liquid waste with a dose of L1 = 100, L2 = 200, L3 = 300 ml/plant. While the second factor is NPK with a dose of P0 = 0% (without NPK fertilizer), P1 = 25% (1 gram/plant, P2 = 50% (2 grams/plant), P3 = 100% (4 grams/plant). The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, number of flowers, number of filled pods, number of empty pods, weight of filled pods, weight of empty pods, wet weight of stover, dry weight of stover, weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment is the combination of 300 ml/plant of palm liquid waste and 50% (2 grams/plant) NPK (L3P3). The best treatment is 50% NPK (2 grams/plant) (P2).

Abstract

Palm oil plantations in recent years have grown rapidly in almost all parts of Indonesia. The existence of palm oil mills has positive and negative impacts. The negative impact for the community is liquid waste, But can utilized for agricultural purpose such as by using liquid waste fertilizer from palm oil mills. Sweet Corn is one of the commodities favored by the people of Indonesia because it tastes good and sweet, and contains many vitamins. However, the productivity of Sweet Corn in Bangka Belitung Islands is decreasing. This study aims to produce optimal Sweet Corn growth, by using from palm oil mills. This study used a split plot Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 3 replications. The main plot is sweet corn variety (V) consist of, V1= Super sweet variety, V2= Bonanza variety, V3= Paragon variety, and the subplot is the interval of application of palm liquid waste (P) consist of, P0= Control, P1= Interval once every 10 days, P2= Interval once every 20 days, P3= Interval once every 30 days. The results of statistical analysis showed that different varieties of sweet corn gave a significant effect on harvest age, cob diameter, cob weight with clobber, cob weight without clobber and yield per plot. Giving different intervals gives a significant effect on stem diameter and cob diameter. Bonanza variety is the best variety in sweet corn growth and production. Once every 10 days is the best interval for sweet corn growth and production. The interaction of paragon variety and interval of 10 days give the best result for the parameter of age of female flowering in sweet corn.   Key words: Interval pemberian, Pupuk organik, Limbah cair kelapa sawit, Jagung manis

Abstract

Permasalahan penanganan limbah merupakan salah satu masalah klasik yang terus-menerus membutuhkan perhatian secara khusus. Terutama limbah-limbah usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) maupun limbah rumah tangga. Setiap tahunnya volume limbah / sampah khususnya sampah organik mengalami peningkatan. Kondisi ini diperparah dengan belum adanya kebiasaan dari masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah-limbah organik yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga dan diolah menjadi produk yang berguna dan berdaya saing. Limbah-limbah organik yang dihasilkan oleh unit industri kecil dan menengah serta rumah tangga pada dasarnya merupakan limbah yang sangat mudah untuk diolah kembali, diantaranya dengan menggunakan teknik pengomposan ataupun metode biokonversi menggunakan makhluk hidup berupa larva / belatung Black Soldier Fly atau yang dikenal dengan nama maggot. Bahan organik yang disukai oleh larva BSF adalah sisa makanan seperti limbah pasar, limbah kandang, limbah agroindustri, limbah dapur dari restoran, limbah buah dan sayur yang banyak mengandung air, serta limbah yang kaya protein Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian yang diarahkan kepada masyarakat umum di desa Air Duren yang memiliki unit pengolahan komoditas nanas yang menghasilkan limbah serta adanya limbah-limbah organik yang belum tertangani dengan baik sehingga perlu sentuhan teknologi yang mumpuni. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini memberikan stimulasi positif dalam menggerakkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk mengolah limbah organik yang terdapat pada area sekitarnya agar tercipta suasana lingkungan yang bebas limbah serta menghasilkan produk biomassa yang berguna dalam menyuburkan tanah dan bernilai ekonomi untuk dijual.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efek produk, estimasi, dan ujrah terhadap minat gadai emas di PT Pegadaian 26 Ilir Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data populasi yang diperoleh sebanyak 1.311 individu dengan sampel sebanyak 96 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan cara insidental sampling. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pengumpulan kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian ini meliputi uji instrumental berupa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji asumsi klasik. Analisis data juga meliputi analisis regresi linier berganda berupa uji-t, uji-F, dan koefisien determinasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel produk, taksiran, dan ujrah secara sendiri-sendiri atau bersama-sama mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap minat orang untuk memajak emas di PT Pegadaian 26 Ilir Palembang. Abstract

The pepper (Piper nigrum L.) a plantation crop that widely cultivated farmers in Indonesia, especially in Bangka Belitung Islands. One of the challenges of pepper cultivation in Bangka Belitung is the reduction in land conversion caused by tin mining. Tin mining causes high levels heavy metal content. The heavy metal lead (Pb) is element that can influence its growth. Pb are will become an inhibitor of enzyme formation which inhibits plant metabolism and effect growh of pepper. The aim of this research to determine the effect of giving Pb to both varieties and determine which varieties are adaptive in planting media containing Pb. This research was carried out April to July, at Bangka Belitung University. The method used was experiment and the design used was a randomized (RAKF). Treatment consists 2 factors. The first factor is Petaling 1 cultivar and the Nyelungkup cultivar. The second factor, Pb concentration which consists of Pb concentration of 0 ppm, 100 ppm and 200 ppm. Data analysis used the F test (ANOVA) followed the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The research results showed each cultivar did not have a real influence on the observed parameters. Aplication Pb concentrations 100 and 200 Ppm had effect on plant height, number of leaves, increasing number of shoots, leaf area and root length and root fresh weight. Nyelungkup cultivar is a cultivar that is better able to adapt to growing media contaminated with the heavy metal Pb better than Petaling 1.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini tentang peran pemberdayaan dalam membangun dan mempertahankan organisasi IPNU-IPPNU di Desa Pesawahan, Kecamatan Porong, Kabupaten Sidoarjo,setelah mengalami masa vakum dari tahun 2018 hingga 2020. Fokus pengabdian ditunjukkan pada upaya pelatihan kepemimpinan berbasis nilai keagamaan secara ikhlas, sabar dan ketaqwaan dalam mendekati pemuda desa dan membentuk struktur organisasi baru yang jelas. Keberhasilan pembentukan struktur yang baru menjadi cerminan bahwa melakukan pelatihan kepemimpinan berbasis nilai keagamaan berdampak positif dengan peningkatan partisipasi pemuda desa dengan penerapan berbagai program termasuk Rutinan Terbangan dan rapat pembangunan jiwa kepemimpinan untuk menampung anggota. Pentingnya peran pelatihan kepemimpinan dalam mempertahankan menjadi kunci utama memberikan pemahaman kepada anggota baru IPNU-IPPNU tentang kepemimpinan dalam pembangunan organisasi yang lebih baik. Tantangan utama dalam menciptakan pelatihan kepemimpinan berbasis nilai keagamaan adalah adanya rasa kurang ikhlas dan sabar dalam hati mereka sehingga saat diberikan tanggung jawab mereka gampang menyepelekan dan sampai-sampai meninggalkan tanggung jawab kepemimpinannya, pemberdayaan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam kepemimpinan membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan rutin dipadukan dengan pelatihan kepemimpinan diusulkan sebagai langkah-langkah untuk mempertahankan keberlanjutan organisasi.
